Point Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $7600 DK - $8600Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 42.46 DK - 44.86 Davion Mitchell FD - $5700 DK - $5400Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 31.88 DK - 34.25 De'Aaron Fox has been questionable for what seems like infinity-straight days now and once again has that status on Tuesday. I think we just need to hear that he’s playing for sure before considering otherwise. With Fox out of the lineup, Halliburton has shouldered more of the offensive load, especially in facilitating the offense for the Kings. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season in a win over the Thunder. He scored 13 points and dished out 17 assists in that one, crushing value easily. He hasn’t been shooting as much as expected of late even with Fox out, but the assists are real and make up for some of that. Again, this is the late game so we might not know on Fox but it might be worth the risk. Meanwhile, one reason Haliburton is taking fewer shots is that others in the Kings starting lineup are picking up more of the usage. One of those guys is Mitchell who’s been drawing the starts in Fox’s place over the last week-plus. He’s played 35 or more minutes in each of the last three, taking 17 shots a game and averaging more than 20 points. From a fantasy perspective, Mitchell is definitely scoring dependent which can lead to some fluctuation in his value, but the DraftKings price is still too cheap if he’s running with the starters once again. Shooting Guard Jalen Suggs FD - $5500 DK - $6000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 30.28 DK - 33.1 Suggs has been solid of late with the Magic pushing him to around 33 minutes in close games. Sure, they struggle to stay in close ones sometimes, but that shouldn’t be as big an issue against the Blazers who are in a bit of a state of flux right now. Over the last four, Suggs is averaging 14 points, with more than six rebounds and four assists. He’s also able to get after it a...

Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $8500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.63 DK - 45.88 Just five games tonight but some outstanding matchups await and it starts with the Raptors who get the best of them all against a hornets team that is 24th in defensive efficiency and run the second-fastest pace in the league. For Fred, it starts with the consistency as he comes in having dropped 40 or more DK points in eight straight(average of 45.0) and that is shooting just 34% from the field in that time. The best news here is that his DK price has dropped to its lowest point since late November which makes him an elite play for me in all formats. Kyle Lowry FD - $5600 DK - $6600 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 26.36 DK - 29.79 Lowry has been limited in both games since his return with the second more on the huge blowout than him actually being restricted as he still ended up playing 31 minutes. He should be back to full strength tonight and that is great news as his price has dropped to season-low on both sites. This game does have the lowest total(209) on this slate but this is an above-average matchup for the Heat as the Wizards rank 21st in defensive efficiency. All things considered, Lowry is on my shortlist for top PTS/$ plays tonight on both sites. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $8400 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 39 DK - 42.32 Mitchell made his return to the Jazz on Friday and while he was eased back in playing just 22 minutes, he looked great dropping 8 of 10 from the field(6 of 7 from behind the arc) for 42.8 DK/38.6 FD points. He should get back to his usual rotation on Monday and that is great news as the price remains suppressed, especially on DraftKings where he has been in the $9K for most of the season. He is a high-volume shooter who also contributes multiple categories making him a great play in all formats on this smaller five-game slate. Aaron Holiday...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 2/6/22

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 2/6/21 If NBA DFS wasn't crazy enough for you, we have the trade deadline fast approaching! That deadline takes place on Thursday, and we had our first big trade on Friday. There will undoubtedly be more in the coming days, and that's one of the best ways to capitalize on DFS. Players will inevitably creep into more prominent roles, and it's something you need to keep an eye on before submitting lineups. With that in mind, let's kick things off with one of the most exciting players in the NBA! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11600 DK - $12000 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 54.2 DK - 56.48 Luka has been one of the best players in fantasy since he was drafted, and he could honestly be in this article every day. We like him here because of his recent form, scoring at least 65 DraftKings points in seven of his last 10 games. He's actually got 71 or more in three straight, and it's easy to understand why since Luka is flirting with a 40 percent usage rate with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined. He was already leading the NBA in usage before, and he's literally touching the ball on every play right now. Facing Atlanta is the jelly in the donut, with the Hawks ranked 25th in points allowed and 27th in defensive efficiency. Not to mention, you know Doncic will be motivated against the team who passed up on him in the draft. Brandon Goodwin FD - $4800 DK - $5400 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 27.22 DK - 27.32 Goodwin was a free agent just last week, but he's stepped in and been fantastic for the Cavs. A gluttony of injuries has forced him into this role, with Darius Garland, Collin Sexton, and Ricky Rubio all injured. That has led to BG scoring at least 26 DK points in three straight outings, averaging 35 fantasy points per game across 34 minutes a night over the last two outings. That's tough to find from a $5K player, and it looks like he's a lock for 30-35 minutes as long as Garland remains out. Facing the Pacers is...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 2/5/22

Point Guard Tre Mann FD - $4900 DK - $4100Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 30.34 DK - 32.49 Sure, the Thunder stink. But that doesn’t mean we can’t load up on some of their guys in DFS and that’s exactly what we’re going to do here on Saturday. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out of the lineup, it’s opened up considerable opportunity down the line and there are players getting a ton more minutes with a high usage rate. One of those dudes is Tre Mann who’s effectively playing shooting guard for this team with Josh Giddey running point. Mann took a team-high 17 shots on Friday in the win over the Pacers though he struggled to make any, knocking down only four and scoring just nine points. That being said, the minutes and opportunity are here for him and the price is right, especially on DraftKings. I’m going back to the well considering how good the matchup is against the Kings. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $7600 DK - $8400Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 42.62 DK - 44.72 De'Aaron Fox has been questionable for something like infinity straight games now so I think, at this point, we just need to operate like he’s out until expressly told otherwise. Fox being out of the mix obviously gives Haliburton most of the opportunity running the offense though the results have been a bit mixed over the short term. He hasn’t found his shot as much recently, a weird trend considering the usage rates he’s had in the past with Fox off the court. But it’s “helped” to stagnate the price some as well. I still think the opportunity should be there if he’s running the points and he does have a 38-point game not too far back in the game log. If Fox is out I’m running Haliburton again with the hope that the shot volume picks up some. Shooting Guard Josh Giddey FD - $6500 DK - $7600Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 39.42 DK - 43.42 Giddey is likely to be a popular play once again, especially on FanDuel where the price is way, way too low. With SGA out he’s running the...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 2/4/22

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11400 DK - $11900Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 55.69 DK - 61.61 I don’t like the matchup against Philly at all, but it’s hard to fade Luka at this point with the kind of numbers he’s putting up. He’s coming off a 40 point, 10 assist game that saw him run 43 minutes in all in the overtime loss to the Thunder. And he’s now scored 30 or more points in each of the last three games. With Kristaps Porzingis banged up, Luka’s usage does tick up a bit and we are seeing some of the results. Again, the 76ers aren’t a good DFS matchup at all, running a slow pace and playing above-average defense, but I still like Luka as a clear pay-up on this Friday slate. Brandon Goodwin FD - $4500 DK - $4100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 34.67 It looks like Brandon Goodwin will get the start once again for the Cavaliers with Darius Garland still on the shelf. Goodwin played 32 minutes last time around in this role, though Cleveland did end up losing to the Rockets on the road. He had a balanced line with seven points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. That was more than enough to play as a value on these price points. This matchup against Charlotte isn’t quite as choice as the Rockets, but they still run a very fast pace, second quickest in the league. That should provide Goodwin enough volume as long as the minutes stay in line with last game. Shooting Guard Josh Giddey FD - $6000 DK - $7700Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 38.22 DK - 42.08 With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the shelf, much more of the offensive load falls on Josh Giddey’s shoulders, and that’s a good thing for us when trying to round out DFS lineups. I think the DraftKings’ price is a little steep here, but the FanDuel salary looks just right. Over the last two games with SGA out, Giddey is averaging 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, and seven assists in all. A key to his DFS production and safety is how balanced he looks...
