The Spurs are arguably in the best spot of the night in a game with a monster total(238) facing a Kings team ranking 29th in defense and 6th in pace while also playing on a back-to-back on the road. For Murray, there have been a few less than stellar performances in the short term but he has still maintained an average of 54.6 DK/51.2 FD points per game since the start of February. All things considered, Murray is one of my top plays on the slate, especially on FanDuel where he remains in the sub $10K range. Ayo Dosunmu FD - $6300 DK - $5300 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 27.22 DK - 29.28 This Bulls/Hawks game is also very intriguing tonight in that it has the second-highest total(23.5) on the slate and is expected to stay relatively close with the Bulls opening as a six-point road favorite. My exposure to this game starts with Ayo who has seen his DK price drop to its lowest point since joining the starting lineup back in mid-January. Take out the dud vs. Memphis last Saturday and he is averaging 11.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.1 stocks per game going back to the start of Janaury. That is a nicely balanced attack and an average of 28.9 DK points per game which is more than acceptable at his current price. Lock and load on DraftKings. In any case, it makes these final five weeks extremely exciting because most teams are still in the race. Many teams here are battling for playoff positioning, and it looks like we'll have a ton of close games on this ledger. There's a lot to discuss with this Wednesday card, so let's get started with a couple of cheap point guards. He's scored at least 23 DraftKings points in four of his five starts this season, averaging over 34 DK points per game in those four outings. That's a ridiculous total from a player sitting around $6K, and he should be a lock for 35-40 minutes with Darius Garland, Collin Sexton, and Rajon Rondo all injured. Getting to face Charlotte might be the best part of this, though, with the Hornets ranked second in pace, 23rd in defensive efficiency, and 28th in points allowed. BG actually played them in one of his five starts, collecting 39 DK points across 36 minutes of action in one of the best games of his career! Gabe Vincent FD - $4000 DK - $4200 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 21.1 DK - 21.37 Gabe has been underrated all season long. He's filled in for Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry at different times this season, starting at point guard in 20 games. He's actually scored at least 21 DK points in 18 of those, providing a 28-point average in those outings. That's a ridiculous total from a $4K player, and we simply can't overlook the fact that he's playing 30-plus minutes in this expanded role. Milwaukee sounds like a tough matchup on the surface, but they rank sixth in pace and 16th in total defense. This guy has been on an absolute tear which is almost kind of an understatement. In the month of February, Luka is averaging 35 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, with the surging Mavericks now 8-2 over their last 10. And one of those included a massive comeback over the Warriors on Sunday. It’s all been gravy for this team who made some solid moves at the deadline. On Tuesday, they’ll get the reeling Lakers who rank 24th on defense and have been all kinds of bad of late. Luka’s price on DraftKings is really pushing it, but you can easily play him on FanDuel. Reggie Jackson FD - $7000 DK - $8200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 40.22 DK - 44.12 The Clippers get the best matchup you can have in DFS NBA against the Rockets on Tuesday and that’s going to land a few of them into cash game consideration for sure. Jackson is close to the top of that list with LA still running him major minutes while they, amazingly, fight to stay at the top of the play-in game seeding. Over the last seven games, Jackson is playing 35 minutes per, and averaging 18.6 points, 8.4 assists, and five rebounds. This is all without the FanDuel price moving all that much. Considering how good of a matchup this is, I think we can easily trot him out there and expect a higher floor return. Shooting Guard Malachi Flynn FD - $3600 DK - $3100Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 24.5 DK - 26.16 This is obviously only if Fred VanVleet were to sit out again on Tuesday. On the front end of the back-to-back, Malachi Flynn got the start for Toronto and was excellent against the Nets. In his 34 minutes, the dude lit it up with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds, and a couple of steals. The price didn’t move at all game-over-game and we now that we know the role, this would make for a pretty easy play....

The price only ticked up slightly and he now gets an elite matchup against the Kings who rank 29th in defensive efficiency and 6th in pace. Fire up SGA in all formats tonight. Brandon Goodwin FD - $5300 DK - $5200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 31.19 DK - 33.5 To say the Cavs are short guards tonight would be an understatement as all three of Garland, LeVert and Rondo are out. Goodwin has been the benefactor of getting more playing time and has put up double-digit shot attempts in back-to-back games and is set to get his second straight start after playing 38 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday. The shooting was nothing to get excited for(2-11 for 8 pts) but he did provide six assists and five rebounds to help him pay off. The price has gone up here but the PTS/$ floor is still high considering the opportunity and the matchup is decent as well as Minnesota ranks 17th in defensive efficiency and is a huge pace-up spot as they are also 6th in that area. Goodwin is a top value play on both sites. Shooting Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $5800 DK - $7100 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 34.77 DK - 37.67 Tyrese Haliburton FD - $9200 DK - $8600 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 40.42 DK - 42.72 The new-look Pacers have struggled to find wins(2-4) since the trade but are chock-full of fantasy production at the guard position so let's just list both here. Because of that, I’m a little concerned the minutes get dialed back some against the Heat on the back-to-back, but he’s still cheap enough to consider on FanDuel especially. On DraftKings, the price is getting a bit steep. But Murray has such a high floor considering all the ways he’s scoring fantasy points this season. Brandon Goodwin FD - $5400 DK - $4200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 27.25 DK - 27.42 The Cavaliers just can’t catch a break at the point guard position this season. Just about everyone they’ve slotted there has gotten hurt. Darius Garland, Colin Sexton, Ricky Rubio, and now Rajon Rondo have gotten hurt. That’s going to leave Brandon Goodwin here on Saturday to run the offense against the Wizards. He got in there for 24 minutes on Thursday when Rondo went down and he finished with 15 points, five assists, and four rebounds. The price did come up some, but I’m not too worried about it on either site. The DraftKings salary is an easy call. Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $6000 DK - $6200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 31.04 DK - 35.08 It’s often very tough to recommend bench guys as can plays, especially on larger slates because the minutes can just be too volatile. Herro is one of the few exceptions to that rule considering how the Heat use him this season. The runaway Sixth Man of the Year favorite right now, Herro has consistently stuck in this role almost no matter the Miami injury situations. They are getting healthier now, but he still came off the bench on Friday to drop 25 points on 9-18 shooting in the win over the Knicks.
