DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 3/13/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/13/22 Sunday slates are always strange, and we have another bizarre one here. While we have eight games in total, only four make up the main card beginning at 7ET. The good news is that some of the worst defenses in the NBA are on display while some of the best players oppose them. That has us riding a stars-and-scrubs strategy because there are some fantastic values as well. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $10200 DK - $10400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 48.24 DK - 49.36 Ja is playing at a different level than everyone else right now. Morant has scored at least 36 DraftKings points in 33 straight games, scoring at least 52 fantasy points in six of his last nine games. He's actually averaging 53 DK points per game in that most recent stretch, attempting a franchise-record 33 shots in the most recent outing. That's a good indicator of how much usage this guy is seeing, handling the ball on every possession for Memphis. We love all of that against this dreadful Oklahoma City roster, with Ja dropping 40 DK points in their last meeting, despite taking just 12 shots. Devonte' Graham FD - $5700 DK - $6100 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 32.45 DK - 34.09 Graham was in everyone's lineup on Friday, and he will be featured heavily again today. The simple fact is, he's the primary ball-handler in New Orleans right now. The Pelicans are currently missing C.J. McCollum, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson, leaving Graham with a 35-minute starting point guard gig. He's been a stud in this role throughout the season, averaging 32 DK points per game in the 18 outings he's played at least 32 minutes. He actually had 41 fantasy points in this expanded role on Friday, and that's obviously a ridiculous total from a $6K player. The best part of this is the matchup, though, and we'll dig into that more later on. If you're looking for a punt play, Jose Alvarado should see some extra minutes for the shorthanded Pels. Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10300 DK - $10300 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8100 DK - $8600Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 44.25 DK - 47.9 The Jazz blew a double-digit lead on Friday to the Spurs, marking a pretty bad loss for the team. And now they are on the back-to-back likely wanting to take this one from the Kings. They get the best matchup of the slate here with Sacramento ranking 28th in defensive efficiency this season while running the 6th-fastest pace. Mitchell should be a full go here on the b2b and has seen the price tick down some in the short term. I think his floor is plenty high on both sites considering the matchup and there’s some chance we could see Mike Conley’s minutes dialed back some considering he ran 31 on Friday evening. Dejounte Murray FD - $10800 DK - $10800Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 52.86 DK - 55.57 He’s having such a breakout season and has been so consistent over the course of this year that we don’t really even bat an eye when seeing that Murray is pushing up against $11K on both sites. It’s more than warranted considering he’s putting up 21 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds per game along with 2.4 blocks+steals. Simply put, he’s one of the very best fantasy guys in the league right now. And he’s facing off against a Pacers team tied for 26th overall in defense who will also be missing Malcolm Brogdon. The Spurs are -6 home favorites and I love paying up for Murray here. The one thing to watch out for here is that San Antonio is on the second half of the back-to-back. Brandon Williams FD - $4900 DK - $6200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 29.03 DK - 32.51 The Blazers stink and are fully in the tank. We know this and they’ve been almost unapologetic about it, which I can basically respect. Williams will get the start at point guard again considering both Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons are on the shelf and the price hasn’t quite gotten there on FanDuel. While there have been some blowouts for this team recently, this doesn’t project to be...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 3/11/22 – Pelicans, Jazz, and more

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10700 DK - $12000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 57.11 DK - 61.82 I suspect Doncic will be the highest-owned big-money play on this slate and it might not be all that close. He gets the best matchup facing off against the Rockets who have allowed the most opponent fantasy points this season by far, with really only the Kings coming close in that respect. Since the beginning of February, Doncic has been on a tear, averaging 35 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists per game. With Kristaps Porzingis gone, the offense is running even more through him which is really saying something, but his load has almost become easier because the addition of Spencer Dinwiddie to spell Jalen Brunson has allowed Doncic more room to operate. This is an easy play on FanDuel though the DraftKings price does at least make you think. Devonte' Graham FD - $4300 DK - $4300Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 27.94 DK - 31.02 The Pelicans are going to be without both Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum for this game which should open up plenty of offensive opportunities for Graham who will likely pick up most of the primary ball-handling responsibilities. With those two guys off the court this season, Graham sees a noticeable (about 4% for each) uptick in both usage and assist rate. The price didn’t really adjust at all for what should be a considerable opportunity boost. And this is definitely a pace-up matchup for New Orleans facing off against the Hornets who run the third-fastest in the league. LaMelo Ball FD - $7500 DK - $8600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 43.77 DK - 47.6 As always, the major thing we need to worry about with LaMelo is the minutes. Even in some close games, James Borrego won’t push him over 30+ minutes, and at these prices that can sometimes be an issue. One would think that this matchup would be on the easier side of things, more in line with keeping Ball on the court for minutes in the mid-30s, but we can’t totally trust that at this point. He’s a triple-double threat...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 3/10

Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Talk about a perfect situation for the NBA on Thursday night. Sure, there are only two games which is tough for DFS but we get the game of the year so far with the Nets visiting the 76ers. I think Doug said it best in his tweet yesterday: Can anyone think of a regular-season game in recent years that has many subplots as Nets-76ers tomorrow? James Harden vs. Brooklyn Kevin Durant is, well, Durant Embiid battling for MVP Kyrie Irving coming off 50 Ben Simmons on bench East seeding Nets fighting for playoffs — Doug Norrie (@DougNorrie) March 9, 2022 Following that game, we then get a key matchup between two of the best Western Conference teams in the Nuggets and Warriors. Despite the challenging situation for DFS, let's dig in and have a look at a few plays we should be focusing on tonight. Guards James Harden FD - $10200 DK - $10400 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 49.49 DK - 54.33 All signs point to a monster night for Harden who is facing the Nets for the first time since being traded at the deadline. Since joining the 76ers, he has been fantastic averaging 24.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 12.4 assists per game which comes out to an elite fantasy average of 56.8 DK/53.1 FD points per game. The best part here is that the small slate has also dropped his DraftKings salary to its lowest price since mid-November. Harden is my favorite guard and overall favorite play on this slate. Kyrie Irving FD - $9700 DK - $9900 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 42.09 DK - 45.54 The system has made it clear it does not like the price here for Kyrie as we are normally looking for double-double potential and triple-double upside from our $10K+ plays. While Kyrie lacks that upside to an extent, he has made up for it with usage averaging 21 shots per game since the start of February(9 games) and has dropped 48 or more DraftKings points in five of his last six games. Neither of these guards plays much defense and this could turn into a slugfest in a hurry...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/9/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/9/22 It's actually a 12-game slate, and it took forever to digest the player pool. There's also a laundry list of injuries, and numerous changes will inevitably happen before tip. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $6800 DK - $8500 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 45.99 DK - 49.19 This might be the first time I've written up Westbrook all season, but this is the spot to use him. The most crucial factor is that Anthony Davis and LeBron James are expected to miss this game. That means Westbrook can return to the high-usage guard that made him a $10K player in his days with OKC, stuffing the stat sheet at ease. That paired with the matchup makes Russ impossible to avoid, with Houston playing at the second-fastest pace in the NBA while ranked dead-last in defensive efficiency. He's crushed them in their three meetings this season, averaging 23.7 points, 10 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game. Cameron Payne FD - $6800 DK - $6500 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 37.31 DK - 38.39 Cam has been great filling in for the Suns. They're currently missing Chris Paul and Devin Booker, leaving Payne with all the usage he can handle. He's actually scored at least 39 DraftKings points in three straight outings, averaging 46 fantasy points per game in that span. That's no surprise when you see that Cam averaged 40 fantasy points per game in his three starts for CP3 last season. All of that means he should probably be an $8K player, and it limits any risk from this tough matchup. With all that said, this is the second half of a B2B, so if Payne is rested for some reason, don't forget about Aaron Holiday. We like whoever starts at point guard for the Blazers, with Anfernee Simons and Brandon Williams both way too cheap. Shooting Guard Jalen Green FD - $6000 DK - $5700 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 26.3 DK - 27.77 Most rookies tend to get off to slow starts, which was certainly the case for Green. With that said, he's really found his stride recently, scoring at least 28 DraftKings...
