Luka is Luka, averaging 30 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists over the last month, and will now face a Lakers team ranked 21st on defense and allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opponents over the last two months. Cade Cunningham FD - $7700 DK - $8800Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 39.62 DK - 43.18 Jerami Grant is going to sit the rest of the season and this is now fully Cade’s team for the remainder. The rookie has played 35 or more minutes in 10 of the last 12 games and in that stretch has averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists while also getting to two blocks+steals. He’s just becoming an elite fantasy performer, well in line with expectation considering the pedigree. He’s a little expensive on DraftKings, but not on FanDuel where he’s still coming under $8K. There is definitely blowout concern here against Brooklyn who is -13.5 home favorites and desperately needing a win. But I think we can take the risk on Cade here because there is, for sure, upside. While Murray isn't quite there in the same range of usage(27.2%) as Trae, he has actually been slightly better in terms of fantasy points per minute(1.48 to 1.4). It comes down to his contributions across the board as he is averaging 23.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 2.1 steals per game going back to the start of February(20 games). Both players check every single box with elite matchups, projected close/high scoring games, and both are elite plays in all formats. That equates to 57 DraftKings points per game, one of the highest totals in the NBA. That's scary since he will be extra motivated here, playing his first home game with the silly mandate being lifted. Not to mention, he faces a Charlotte team that ranks third in pace and 28th in total defense. Chris Paul FD - $6600 DK - $7200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 35.79 DK - 35.54 It's strange to see CP3 this cheap. We're talking about one of the greatest point guards of all time amid one of the best seasons of his career. The price drop is clearly due to his return from injury but playing 30 minutes in his return to action tells us that he's essentially ready for a full workload. He finished with 46 DK points in that return, which is impressive since he had at least 36 fantasy points in 15 of 16 games before suffering that injury. He lost minutes in the blowout last game, but has double-digit assists upside if things stay close here against Milwaukee. The price hasn’t moved enough for the opportunity Jones has with Ja out of the lineup and is a good mid-tier play on this slate. Davion Mitchell FD - $5900 DK - $6000Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 31.09 DK - 33.53 The Kings have been crushed by injuries and are going to be without De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis once again on Saturday. It’s good that they get a matchup against another bottom-feeding team and we should see a ton of minutes for Davion Mitchell once again. Over the last four games, Mitchell has averaged 21 points and six assists, taking a team-high 16 shots per game in that stretch. And he’s been even better over the last two. I love the prices on both sites and think he is a safe play in this matchup considering how short on guards the Kings are right now. Dillon Brooks FD - $6100 DK - $5800Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 34.6 DK - 36.6 Desmond Bane FD - $7800 DK - $7800Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 38.19 DK - 41.32 With Ja Morant out of the lineup, much more of the offensive load falls on the shoulders of these two who should see plenty of opportunity on Saturday against the Bucks. For starters, with Morant off the court this season Brooks has the second-highest usage on the team at 30%. He is in line for a lot of shots and the minutes have been ticking up since coming back from injury a couple of weeks ago....

For the season, he is averaging 28 points, nine rebounds, and 8.6 assists, the former two representing career highs. It’s a great spot and Dallas is for sure still fighting for seeding the Western Conference. Beating the Timberwolves here would go a long way to staving off the play-in game on that front. Luka’s price is too low on FanDuel especially. Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 44.26 DK - 48.03 The Jazz have the second-highest implied total on this slate and the game against the Hornets doesn’t project to be a blowout. That’s good news for Mitchell who is coming at a value on both sites. Charlotte is playing the third-fastest pace in the NBA this season with a 23rd-ranked defensive efficiency, having this matchup line up really well from a DFS perspective. Mitchell has put up 36 or more points in three of his last four games, and over the last month is averaging 27 points and six assists. The Jazz are still fighting for seeding here and Mitchell’s minutes should be in the 35-37 range as long as the game stays close.
