Celtics (3) vs. Pacers (-3) Vegas Implied Score: Indiana 103.25 - Boston 100.25 Over/ Under: 204 Series: Boston 3-0 After back to back soul-crushing losses, this one is certainly starting to feel like a tailor-made 4-0. Following up a big 2nd quarter with a 12 point disaster must have been truly heartbreaking, and it's very hard to imagine the Pacers bounce back here. Still, Vegas is relatively unphased, and the Pacers are actually favored by three points here. We'll treat this game as any other in the meantime, and break down what we've seen from each team recently. Boston Value Al Horford FD - $6700 DK - $6600Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 38.54 DK - 38.16 Jaylen Brown FD - $4900 DK - $4900Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 29.11 DK - 29.25 The Celtics have consolidated their minutes for the playoffs, and Horford and Brown seem to be two of the biggest beneficiaries. I was close in deciding between Brown and Danny Green last game, but it seems clear that Brown is going to be more actively involved for the Celtics than I had assumed. Both are excellent value options on any site. I'm not big on Kyrie or Tatum, but don't sleep on Gordon Hayward. He's looked oddly spry these playoffs, and is coming off of a game where he played 32 minutes. He didn't do a whole lot with it, but he's still pretty cheap at a somewhat thin position. Indiana Value Our system is considerably unimpressed with the Pacers messing with their minutes, and of course you can't really blame them given that not much has been working. They've leaned more heavily into Thaddeus Young and Bojan Bogdanovic, but those two guys have been priced out of consideration on FanDuel. On DraftKings, though, both are looking like good options on the basis of being the only two reliable minutes...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Saturday 4/20/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Saturday 4/20/19 We've got a fat four game slate for you, but with how tightly the games are packed, we still might not be living the high life here. Will the Jazz, Nets, and Pistons get smoked again? Am I hallucinating, or are the Spurs kind of just a better version of the Nuggets all of a sudden? Let's get into it! We've got you completely covered. 76ers (-1.5) vs. Nets (+1.5) Vegas Projected Score: Philadelphia 116.75 - Brooklyn 115.25 Over/Under: 232 Philadelphia leads the series 2-1 Welp, someone seems to have woken up the Sixers, who dispatched the Nets by 16 points in game three without the benefit of having Joel Embiid. By now you know the drill - if Embiid is hurt, the rest of the Philly "big three" are firmly in play. Heck, they are probably in play even if Embiid is around. Ben Simmons FD - $10300 DK - $8500Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 51.57 DK - 52.25 Jimmy Butler FD - $7800 DK - $7200Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 39.24 DK - 38.2 Tobias Harris FD - $7700 DK - $6500Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 35.13 DK - 36.3 Game three was interesting from the Philly side, though. We saw the Sixers press the issue with Tobias Harris, whose inside-outside game was just too much for the Nets to handle. Harris led the team with 19 shots, and was 6/6 from three while also netting 16 rebounds. He just looked like a man among boys out there, and looks like a pretty safe option on slate without many of them. Simmons was excellent in game three as well, facilitating as well as ever and getting to the rack with refreshing efficiency, going 11-13 from the field and 9-11 from the line. He has taken a leap since game one, and it wouldn't shock me to see him turn into the $11,000 fantasy player we've dreamed about. If Embiid is out, Greg Monroe is the most obvious play on the slate. He played 25 minutes in a blowout the last time around, and should be the heir to abusing the Nets interior defense if the Sixers don't want to commit to Boban for more than...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Tuesday 4/18/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Thursday 4/18/19 NBA Playoffs are heating up and we have a three-game slate to dive into. All three of our series today are tied 1-1, but are they all created equally? Let's get to it. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer our player lab! We've got you completely covered. 76ers (-2.5) vs. Nets (+2.5) Over/Under: N/A Vegas Projected Score Series: 1-1 It's the first game on the slate, and we'll start off confused. Brooklyn treated the Sixers on their home court in game one, and pundits everywhere were pouring dirt on "the process" (and The Process). Welp, in game 2 the Sixers poured in 51 third quarter points en route to a 22 point victory. So what should we expect for game three? Well, that isn't so clear at this point. This big question mark has to surround Joel Embiid, who quite frankly just looks hurt out there. He's not running the floor, he's said he has trouble "cutting and jumping," and generally looks uncomfortable. That being said, he's still averaging 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in just 22 minutes of action, so he's still taking full advantage of the tremendous match-up. He's currently listed as questionable for this one, but his uncertain status creates question marks throughout the Philly lineup. More minutes out of Embiid means a lot fewer shots to go around, and obviously fewer minutes for back-up bigs Mike Scott and Boban Marjanovic. Philadelphia Value Tobias Harris FD - $6800 DK - $6100Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 36.98 DK - 38.21 Ben Simmons FD - $9900 DK - $7700Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 52.96 DK - 53.62 The two premier Philly plays, for my money. The Simmons is piece is likely obvious. He simply has to be the main creator with Embiid hobbled, and he finally rose to the occasion in game two. He dropped a triple double in less than 30 minutes on the floor, and he was finally able to take advantage of his considerable size advantage. He goes from a solid play if Embiid is fully healthy and a must-play if he isn't, so you're going to play him regardless. Harris might not present quite so obvious a case, but at the very least I loved seeing him lead the team in minutes...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Tuesday 4/16/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Tuesday 4/16/19 We've got a big Wednesday in NBA Playoff action. Can the Magic keep the, well, magic going against Toronto? Will we see another close one in Portland? Is Denver for real or will they cave in this series to the Spurs? Lots to look at for a three-game playoff NBA slate. Magic (10) vs. Raptors (-10)Vegas Projected Score: Toronto: 109.75 - Orlando: 100.75Vegas Over/Under: 210.5Series: Orlando 1-0 The Magic stole a game in a stunner with a late-game D.J. Augustin dagger three to all but seal the deal. They shot the lights out from three (48%) but looked tough on the defensive end against a seemingly superior Raptors’ squad. It’s difficult to imagine the Magic sustaining this level of basketball for an entire seven-game series, but they are clearly at worst, a very tough matchup for the Raptors. They are long around the perimeter and have the size inside with Vucevic to cause real problems on the defensive end. Orlando Value Jonathan Isaac FD - $5100 DK - $4900Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 29.37 DK - 28.69 If the Game 1 minutes are the new normal then Isaac is among the very best value plays on this three-game slate. He played 40 minutes and finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. While those per minute numbers aren’t all that impressive, you really have to think this is around the floor on his production if he’s going to run 83% of the game. Evan Fournier FD - $5600 DK - $5500Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 28.5 DK - 29.69 Fournier was another big minutes guy for the Magic. His length and defensive ability (like Isaac) help him stay on the court for longer stretches. Dude took the most shots on the team (18) and finished with 16 points. The other stats were lackluster leaving his overall fantasy line a little unimpressive despite the court time. I’m fine buying in the mid-tier on the minutes though and think he’ll continue to see similar usage. The other stats should come around. Toronto Value Pascal Siakam FD - $7800 DK - $7100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 40.83...

Nets (8) vs. 76ers (-8)Vegas Projected Score: Nets: 108.75 - 76ers: 116.75Series: Nets 1-0 The Sixers came out and laid an egg in Game 1, struggling in ever aspect of the game (including health) and allowing the Nets to basically dominate them en route to 111-102 Brooklyn victory. There were a couple of main story lines. The primary one (and it will be the same going into Game 2) being the status of Joel Embiid. Philly waited until the last possible second to clear their superstar and he came out clearly looking less than 100%. He wasn’t able to play the full game and there is speculation he won’t be able to play Game 2. The Nets played some of their bench heavy rotations, but it’s always so hard to project minutes on a game-to-game basis for this group. They play matchups and hot-hands as much as anyone in the league and could do so again depending on what Embiid’s status is on Monday. Nets Value Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $4900 DK - $5000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 28.62 DK - 29.79 Dinwiddie was one of the bench stars for Brooklyn, playing 32 minutes off the pine (including crunch time) and finishing with 18 points on 6-14 shooting (2-5 from three). He’s still coming priced at a value if you think this is the Nets’ plan going forward with their backup point guard. They can run him and D'Angelo Russell together so the latter’s minutes don’t necessarily cut into the former’s. Dinwiddie is still a solid middle tier play on a tightly-priced two-game slate. Jarrett Allen FD - $6000 DK - $4500Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 28.61 DK - 27.73 Allen played only 10 minutes in Game 1 mostly because he was an epic foul box every time Embiid was on the court. If the latter sits then I think Allen becomes one of the very best value plays on the slate. He’d look even better on a minutes trajectory if Ed Davis were forced to sit...
