We've got you completely covered. 76ers (6.5) vs. Raptors (-6.5) Vegas Projected Score: Toronto - 113.5 Philadelphia - 107 Over/Under: 220.5 Series: Toronto 1-0 Toronto took care of business in Game 1, disposing of the Sixers in with a 108-95 victory that saw the starters from both teams hit the bench with about four minutes left to go in regulation. A lot will be made of how the Raptors were essentially a two-man team on offense between Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam. This is true, though ignores the fact that it was relatively easy for these two in their respective matchups. The Raptors simply didn’t need to work at all to get anyone else involved. Kawhi and Pascal just roasted the Simmons/ Harris/ Butler defensive *schemes* the Sixers threw out there. On the other end of the court, the Raptors played the kind of defense that we expected. Philly couldn’t get much of anything going in the half court and were constantly settling for poor shots and busted possessions. Personally, I don’t have a lot of confidence in Brett Brown to make adjustments going forward, though I’d be happy to be proven wrong on that so the series stays competitive. Toronto Value Kawhi Leonard FD - $9700 DK - $9000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 54.48 DK - 54.48 Pascal Siakam FD - $8300 DK - $7300Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 45.53 DK - 45.43 Look, these two dudes dominated in Game 1 and came out with about as good fantasy performances as you could ever hope for. And even with those peak games, and the price increases they are still the go-to fantasy plays on this slate. You aren’t getting anything like discounts on the Portland backcourt, and I have some real concerns about paying top dollar for Jokic. That kind of leaves us with these two. I’m confident in max minutes from both, and while I don’t think the scoring...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Round Two Sunday Preview

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Round Two Sunday Preview  The very worst teams have been eliminated, and the real NBA playoffs begin. We've got two dynamite 1-4 match-ups today, and two series that many people believe may as well just be the conference finals. I'm not sure these series will be as close as some people believe they will be, but let's just dive into it and see where we can find some DFS value. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer our player lab! We've got you completely covered. Celtics (7.5) vs. Bucks (-7.5) Vegas Projected Score: Milwaukee - 115 Boston - 107.5 Over/Under: 222.5 Vegas sees both of these series as what we'll call "close, but clear," with Milwaukee and Golden State both showing up as healthy game one favorites. Milwaukee has the slightly bigger spread at -7.5, but for all intents and purposes I think we can set aside blowout risk for the sake of projecting these games. That's actually a pretty sizable difference from round one, where we had concerns about starters' minutes for all four of the teams playing today. Milwaukee held a narrow 2-1 series lead during the regular season, which was decided by a one point victory in their only meeting in 2019 around the All-Star break. Milwaukee, though, gets arguably the biggest bump of any of the teams going today. Detroit with no Blake (or at least no fully healthy Blake) was embarrassingly overmatched, but that theoretically shouldn't be the case for the Celtics here. As a result we're giving the Bucks' starters roughly 10% more minutes, which is a significant difference maker here. I personally feel as though people are overrating the Celtics based on their seemingly decisive round one victory over the over-achieving Pacers, and of all the round two series we've got going this is the one where I think blowouts are the most likely. Still, let's get to some of the value. Milwaukee Giannis Antetokounmpo FD - $11000 DK - $10000Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 59.34 DK - 61.12 Khris Middleton FD - $7600 DK - $6200Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 35.96 DK - 37.58 Brook Lopez FD - $6500 DK - $5600Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 29.34 DK - 29 Yep, I'm buying essentially all of the Bucks' starters for this one. I'll...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Saturday 4/27/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Saturday 4/27/19   We've got a Spurs team that won't die, a Denver team that looks shook, and a series between a 2 and a 3 seed that is already over if Twitter is to be believed, even though it hasn't even started. At the very least all of the teams with legitimately no chance have been eliminated, and the real playoffs can begin! Let's do this. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer our player lab! We've got you completely covered. Spurs (5.5) vs. Nuggets (-5.5) Vegas Projected Score: Denver 109 - San Antonio 103.5 Over/Under: 209 Series: 3-3 It's our first game 7 of the 2019 NBA playoffs! It's been something of a strange trip, but here we are. Both of these teams have looked great at other times and totally stilted at others, but at the very least we can say they are pretty evenly matched. In spite of the Spurs' 17 point victory in game 6, Vegas hasn't changed its tune at all, here, with Denver continuing to be favored by 5.5 points at home. Let's have a look at what each team believes to be its "final form." Denver Early returns from our system has it loving basically all of the DEnver guys here at current prices. What makes DFS an interesting game tends to be that the best value plays are the ones that have been underperforming recently. Short blips in performance can cause prices and ownership to go down, and on two game slates we need to take value wherever we can find it. All that said, the Nuggets have consolidated opportunity in a way that can be concerning for DFS players. Yes, guys like Paul Millsap are cheap, but he's also doing next to nothing from a DFS perspective. The Nuggets seem ready to ride or die with the combination of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray at the cost of scoring production from their other members. The offense ran through Jokic almost entirely in game 6, and it was shocking to see the Nuggets lose in spite of his wild effectiveness. If you were to tell someone that Jokic went 19-30 from the floor with 12 boards and 9 assists against just 2 turnovers, but the Nuggets suffered a blowout loss, I'm not sure what they'd...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Tuesday 4/23/19   On Monday, the Bucks took care of business closing out the Pistons. But the Rockets couldn't do the same with the Jazz extending the series at least one more game. On Tuesday, the Raptors, Sixers and Blazers will all look to get out of the first round. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer our player lab! We've got you completely covered. Magic (11.5) vs. Raptors (-11.5) Vegas Projected Score: Toronto 108.75 - Orlando 97.25 Over/Under: 206 Series: Toronto 3-1 After that first game upset, Toronto has taken care of business against the Magic. They won the next three games, two in rather convincing fashion. Game 4 was really never in doubt and the Raptors won by 22 when it was all said and done. The series now shifts back to Toronto where it sure seems like the Raptors will take care of business against a feisty, but outgunned Magic squad. Orlando Value Evan Fournier FD - $5100 DK - $5100Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 28.5 DK - 29.69 We’ve written up Fournier as a *value* play over the last couple of games mostly because he’s one of the few Magic players seeing healthy minutes even if the games get out of hand. He ran 35 in Game 4, finishing with 19 points on 8-16 shooting (second most attempts on the team). He’s reliant on scoring to hit value, so the shot needs to fall. But considering the price, I’m still on board for playing him here in cash games. Toronto Value Kawhi Leonard FD - $9800 DK - $8300Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 46.89 DK - 47.14 After struggling some from the field in Game 3, Kawhi bounced back in Game 4 and turned in a superstar level performance with 34 points on 12-20 shooting. He also got the line nine times and grabbed six rebounds. The Magic don’t have many answers on the defensive end when he gets cooking and the price still hasn’t totally gotten to the point where he’s going to dust you even if the shot isn’t falling. Pascal Siakam FD - $8600 DK - $7500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 41.76 DK - 41.86 Siakam was something of a disappointment in Game 4, finishing with 16 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes....

FanDuel and DraftKings Picks for Sunday, 4/21/19

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Saturday 4/21/19 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Pitchers James Paxton FD - P 9600 DK - SP 9400 Opponent - KC (Jorge Lopez) Park - NYY FD - 40.35 DK - 22.3 Paxton is the biggest projected favorite on this slate and it's easy to see why. After struggling the first three games, Paxton threw an absolute gem against the Boston Red Sox in his most recent outing. Paxton pitched eight-shutout innings, allowing just three baserunners while striking out 12 batters. That's the Paxton that we've become accustomed to, as he's posted a 2.90 FIP and 30.3 percent K-rate in his last two years with the Mariners. Facing Kansas City is a treat too, as they currently rank 25th in wOBA.  Joey Lucchesi FD - P 8300 DK - SP 9400 Opponent - CIN (Tyler Mahle) Park - SD FD - 31.25 DK - 16.52 Luchessi's 5.06 ERA is far from pretty but his underlying statistics tell a different story. In fact, Luchessi owns a 3.30 FIP this season and 26 percent career K-rate. Those are the numbers of an elite pitcher and he should have success in a pitcher's park like Petco. What really makes him an intriguing option here is his matchup, as he faces a Reds team who ranks dead-last in both OBP and batting average. That's why Cincinnati's projected run total is barely above three and Luchessi should have no problem shutting down one of the weakest lineups in baseball in such a friendly park.  Stephen Strasburg FD - P 10500 DK - SP 10700 Opponent - MIA (Trevor Richards) Park - MIA FD - 39.26 DK - 21.36 Strasburg has traditionally struggled against the Marlins but it's a tough matchup to fade. In fact, the Marlins currently rank last in both wOBA and xwOBA so far this season. That's really no surprise when you consider the fact that Starlin Castro is probably their best hitter. Pitching in Miami is fantastic too, as that currently ranks as the best pitching park in the majors based on park factors. In addition, Strasburg's has some special peripherals, owning a 2.92 xFIP and a 29 percent K-rate for his career.  Catcher/First Base Wellington Castillo FD - C 2600 DK - C 3400 Opponent - DET (Daniel Norris) Park - DET FD - 9.77 DK - 7.5 Picking catchers is like pulling teeth but Castillo has some serious home run upside in this matchup. Over the last five years, Castillo has...
