Point Guard Kendrick Nunn FD - $6000 DK - $6000Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 31.8 DK - 32.24Goran Dragic didn't travel with the Heat to L.A. and though he is technically listed as a GTD tonight, I'm feeling it is more likely he'll suit up for Wednesday's game in Philly if he doesn't just hold out until the team returns to Miami later this week. Even if he does attempt to give it a go tonight, he'll likely be limited which means we have a little longer to run out Kendrick Nunn with confidence. Down the stretch, Nunn's scoring has been shakey, to say the least, but the minutes have remained consistent and the fantasy totals have been worth the price of admission. Point guard has just been a funny position to pin down this season, and if the Dragon remains out I'm fine with rolling out Nunn in my lineups, and likely will even if Goran does make the trip to Memphis. Jalen Brunson FD - $3700 DK - $5500Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 33.77 DK - 34.69As if point guard wasn't already a tough position to field, we lose one of the sure things for the next several weeks as Luka Doncic exited Saturday night's game with a nasty ankle sprain. This does present us with a tremendous value play, however, as Jalen Brunson stepped up in a big way following Doncic's early exit. In 34 minute's Brunson posted 18 points, with seven boards and eight assists, good for a nearly 10X PPD (points per dollar) performance against one of the games tougher matchups for opposing PG's. Tonight Brunson will go against a Bucks team that is slightly below average defending the position in a game with a promising 227 projected total. I will likely have a ton...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 12/15/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/15/19 Well it's a four game main slate on FanDuel, kicking off just as the second set of NFL games are winding down. There are a few outstanding pieces of information as of this writing, with Al Horford's status probably being the biggest piece of news. Let's lay a good foundation of preparation in the meantime. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8600 DK - $9300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 44.4 DK - 43.69 Simmons has been pretty hit or miss this season, but he's usually a bit better with one of the other big players out of the lineup. With Horford's potential absence in play here, we can turn to last game and see that Simmons should be capable of big things. He put together 24 points and 11 assists against the Pelicans, and chipped in 5 defensive stats while he was at it. Simmons hasn't faced the Nets yet this season, but they've allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season, and he should be bringing a pretty solid floor here. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $7700 DK - $8200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 39.55 DK - 40.95 Dinwiddie has been the heart and soul of the Nets' gutty performances without Kyrie, and now you're getting him at a steep discount in an admittedly tough match-up. Our lineup optimizer thinks the price hate has gone too far, though, and has him penciled in for the best fantasy points per minute at the position besides Simmons. Dinwiddie has gone 12 straight games with 35 fantasy points or more, and even if you just take that rather respectable floor you're perfectly happy on this small and tough slate. Also considered: Trae Young. Shooting Guard Kevin Huerter FD - $4800 DK - $4000 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 23.74 DK - 24.46 And you thought point guard was looking tough. Huerter's minutes limit was raised to 30 last game, and while he didn't get there fantasy wise this price is simply too cheap on DraftKings. The Lakers are about as bad a match-up as you can ask for, but on...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 12/14/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 12/14/19 After a big nine-game slate on Friday, we're back at it here with seven games. What is interesting about this slate is the fact that we have numerous teams in the second half of a back-to-back set. In fact, we have the Bulls, Clippers, Heat and Grizzlies all playing in the back end of a B2B. These are all teams that have a propensity to rest players in these circumstances, so that's going to be a major key in this article. With that in mind, let's breakdown this slate. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Eric Bledsoe FD - $7200 DK - $6700Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 34.57 DK - 35.33 With Giannis Antetokounmpo dealing with a quad injury and suiting up on Friday, we're going to bet that he sits out here. When Giannis is out, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe become two of the best plays on the board. With last year's MVP off the floor, Bledsoe is leading the team with a 33.4 percent usage rate while averaging 1.43 DK points per minute. That rate would equate to 50 fantasy points in 35 minutes of action which would be absurd production from a player in the $7,000-range. The matchup against Cleveland isn't too shabby either, with Cleveland ranked 26th in defensive efficiency. NOTE: Bledsoe left Friday's game with a shin contusion which would make George Hill and Pat Connaughton good options if he sits out! Ish Smith FD - $5800 DK - $5400Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 28.11 DK - 28.12 With Isaiah Thomas dealing with an ankle issue, Smith is one of the best values out there. The simple fact is, this dude has always been productive when starting. Not only has he played at least 31 minutes in the last four starts he's made, Smith has also scored at least 22 DK points in all of those. That 4X floor is hard to overlook and he's shown us in the past that he has 40/50-point potential whenever he receives 35 minutes of play. We especially love the speedster against a team like the Grizzlies, with Memphis ranked sixth in pace and 26th in points allowed. If Goran Dragic is...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 12/13/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 12/13/19 A quick note on these picks before we get started. There are two big pieces of injury *news* that I’m operating under right now. The first is that Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit out again on Friday. The Bucks don’t have a lot of incentive to rush him back and they get a bad Memphis team. The other is that Kawhi Leonard will sit out the front end of this back-to-back. Him sitting on Friday and playing Saturday makes a lot more sense with spacing out the rest between his games. If either or both change then this would make the writeups very different. I’ll make alternate notes about plays outside of these two teams of course. But these are my baseline assumptions. Point Guard Eric Bledsoe FD - $6700 DK - $6700Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 41.67 DK - 42.3 George Hill FD - $3600 DK - $4100Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 21.52 DK - 21.84 It really doesn’t look like Giannis is going to play on Friday against the Grizzlies after sitting on Wednesday in the game against the Pelicans. The Bucks didn’t need him in the former and likely won’t need him in the latter either. Bledsoe goes from a 23% usage on the season to 32% with Antetokounmpo off the court. He took 13 shots in just 25 minutes on Wednesday finishing with 29 points and six assists. Even with the price increase AND risk of blowout (because that’s just what Milwaukee does) we could be staring down another Bledsoe chalk night on Friday. He was 90%+ owned in cash games against the Pelicans and could see similar numbers on Friday. Meanwhile Hill played 19 minutes on Wednesday and got there with 13 points, three assists and three steals. I think he actually could be in line for a few more minutes here if the game stays even a little closer and makes for an interesting cheap play. Tyus Jones FD - $4300 DK - $3700Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 19.58 DK - 19.29 De'Anthony Melton FD - $4100 DK - $3900Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 28.51 DK - 27.63 Ja Morant has already...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11400 DK - $11400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 58.5 DK - 62.66 What can you really say about Luka that hadn't been said before? He's having the best age 20 season, is in the MVP discussion before he can legally drink in the US, and contributes across the board with the best in the league. He's also just a little bit cheap right now thanks to a stretch of blowouts. We saw that his true rotation is still at least 35 minutes against Sacramento, and if that's the case you'll happily run him against a Detroit team with legitimately no one who can defend him. The Pistons aren't a great match-up in a vacuum, but on a small slate you can't get too picky. Monte Morris FD - $3600 DK - $3900 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 29.88 DK - 29.84 With Jamal Murray likely to miss this one, you're going to see a lot of Monte Morris out there tonight. The match-up with Lillard and Portland is fine, but this is just a classic price and opportunity mismatch, and on a tiny slate you really can't ask for a whole lot more. Shooting Guard C.J. McCollum FD - $7000 DK - $6800 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 35.11 DK - 35.76 Another player who's just a little bit too cheap after playing in repeated blowouts, McCollum comes in as a solid but unspectacular value at a really bad position tonight. McCollum's true rotation is around 37 minutes, and scoring just a fantasy point per minute should get you there. If some value opens up anywhere at shooting guard either of the guys listed here will fall off immediately, but in the meantime I think you're getting a reasonable floor in a game that shouldn't result in a blowout. DeMar DeRozan FD - $8200 DK - $7300 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 37.85 DK - 38 To address your concern straight-away: yes, there is likely a little bit of blowout risk here. But the Spurs aren't exactly a world beater this year, and...
