A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Jon Lester and Michael Wacha in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below. Pitching Targets Clayton Kershaw FD 10700 DK 13800 Opponent - SF (Suarez) Park - @SFFD - 33.72 DK - 22.44 Happy Kershaw Day everyone! I mean do I really have to explain this pick? You already know the drill, right? You don't! Ugh, I guess I'll go ahead and give you a little recap about Kershaw. Kershaw has been one of the most, if not the most dominant pitcher in baseball over the last few seasons. He's an absolute force when on the mound and has the highest ceiling. He's that good! The matchup isn't the best against the Giants, but it's Kershaw were talking about! He will be pitching at pitcher-friendly AT&T Park, and isn't too expensive. If your playing cash games, you know where to start. Hisashi Iwakuma FD 8000 DK 8200 Opponent - OAK (Cotton) Park - @SEAFD - 31.19 DK - 20.41 Hisashi Iwakuma is at an excellent price-point, has a great matchup and has had a solid season. What more could you ask for? Eh, maybe a million dollars, but if were talking about selecting a DFS pitcher, he's one of the best SP2 out there tonight! He'll be going up against an A's squad that he's had success against this season. He's delivered a quality start in three out of the four outings against them. Not only does he have their number, but they have also been cold. In their last 14 contest, they possess a .278 wOBA (27th in MLB), 74 wRC+ (26th in MLB) and .144 ISO (21st in MLB). Iwakuma...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Early Slate New York Mets vs. Phil Klein (PHI) The pressure is on. Teams are fighting for postseason spots. Jobs are on the line. You're giving it all you got left in the tank. Emotions are higher than ever. It's October baseball baby! Happy October everyone! So without further ado, lets dive into my top three stacks of the day! First on the list are the New York Mets. They will be going up against Phil Klein, who has an ERA over 8. Although, It's not fair to judge him based on that, you have to admit -- 8 is a very intriguing number. He's only got one MLB start under his belt and the rest of his appearances came out of the pen. So I see this becoming a bullpen game for the 'Phils, which is also why I'm on this Mets' squad. The Phillies' bullpen has been one of the worst in the league, as they are sporting a 5.04 ERA (3rd-worst in MLB). The Mets are fighting to maintain their postseason hopes alive and have a beautiful matchup, which is why I'm all over these guys tonight. My top 4 guys to stack: Jay Bruce, Jose...

Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Clayton Kershaw and Madison Bumgarner in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below. Pitching Targets Rick Porcello FD 9800 DK 12600 Opponent - TB (Andriese) Park - @TB FD - 35.65 DK - 23.99 What a season Rick Porcello has had. Besides being the first 20-game winner of the 2016 season, he's also sporting a 3.08 ERA along with a 0.98 WHIP and 3.88 xFIP. He's been real good and let's be honest -- none of us saw him having this type of season (I'm just as guilty). His peripherals are one reason why I'll be plugging him into my lineups, but the other reason is because of his matchup. Today, Porcello and the red-hot Red Sox will be going up against a Rays' team that he's very familiar with. He's faced them five times this season and in those five meetings -- he's delivered a quality start every time. Not only did he deliver quality starts, but he also scored at least 21 (Draftkings) points in each of those contests (that's very impressive). He has the Rays' numbers and they also own 24.2 K% on the year, which is why I'm on the Porcello-train today. Marcus Stroman FD 7600 DK 8500 Opponent - NYY (Sabathia) Park - @TOR FD - 33.11 DK - 21.76 Vegas is all over the Blue Jays today, as they own a -200 money line and I'm also on the Blue Jays-train. They will have Marcus Stroman on the mound, who can be very streaky, but I'm a fan of his today. I believe he's a solid SP2 option today that will allow you to pay up...

You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Seattle Mariners vs. Tyler Duffey (MIN) The Mariners had been colder than my snow cone, but then all of sudden -- BAM! Friday hit and they put ten runs on the board! My snow cone melted thanks to a Mariners' squad that devoured the Twins, and guess what -- they play them again tonight! No, Kyle Gibson will not be on the bump again tonight. This time, they will face Tyler Duffey. 2016 hasn't been the best of years for the right-hander, as he's posted a 6.39 ERA along with a 1.53 WHIP. He's giving up a ton of hits (opponents own .302 AVG against him), which is why his WHIP and ERA are so inflated. Not only do the Mariners get to face a starter with an ERA over six, but the bullpen has also been terrible for the Twins this season. They own a 4.63 ERA (26th in MLB), so this should be a fun one to watch, especially against a bullpen that was forced to pitch 4 innings last night. My top 4 guys to stack: Nelson Cruz, Robinson Cano, Nori Aoki and Seth Smith. Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Wade Miley (BAL) This Arizona Diamondbacks squad completely...

You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Boston Red Sox vs. Bryan Mitchell (NYY) In the early slate I like the Red Sox quite a bit. They will be going up against Bryan Mitchell, who only has two major league starts under his belt. He's 25 years young and pitching at Fenway Park for your third start of the year is no easy task, especially against this Red Sox lineup. Not only do they feature a lineup with lot’s big names, but those big names have also been crushing the baseball as of late. In their last 14 contests, they are boasting a .194 ISO (7th in MLB) along with a .355 wOBA (1st in MLB). The baseball looks like a watermelon to them and I expect them to continue to put runs on the board in bunches. My top 4 guys to stack: Hanley Ramirez, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia and Mookie Betts. Texas Rangers vs. Raul Alcantara (OAK) Raul Alcantara also only has two major league starts under his belt this season, but boy, it's been ugly. In those two starts, he's sporting...
