FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 12/30/20 It's been an awesome start to the NBA season! Yesterday's article was full of great plays like Elfrid Payton, Tyler Herro, Zach LaVine and Julius Randle and we're going to look to keep that momentum rolling here. This is a much smaller slate though, with only six games on the docket. Without further ado, let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11400 DK - $10700 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 58.24 DK - 62.9 Doncic is obviously one of the best players in fantasy basketball and it's just a matter of time before he drops a 60-burger on someone's head. That actually should have happened on Sunday but Luka was limited to just 26 minutes because of the 51-point win over the Los Angeles Clippers. That was his third-straight game with at least 44 DraftKings points though and that's likely going to be his floor for most of the season. The thing that we really love is his usage with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined, leading the NBA with a 38 percent usage rate. That's a monster total and that's really bad news for a Charlotte club ranked 24th in total defense last season. Kyrie Irving FD - $9400 DK - $8900 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 46.06 DK - 47.27 Irving has been sparkling in his first few games of the season and it extends a rather remarkable run from 2019 as well. In fact, Irving averaged 48 DK points per game in limited action last season and is backing that up with a 46-point average this year. That should make him a five-figure player on both sites but he remains a solid value in the $9,000 range. The best part about using him today is the fact that he gets to match up with Trae Young. Not only is Young a terrible defender, it's also the sort of matchup that will light a fire under Kyrie. Not to mention, Atlanta ranked 27th in defensive efficiency last season. Dejounte Murray is flirting with triple-doubles regularly and remains a good value on both sites. Shooting Guard Khris Middleton FD - $7800 DK -...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 12/29/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 12/29/20 We've had about a week of basketball to research and it's been a very interesting start to the season. There have been numerous injuries and a lot of resting in the opening week and that's expected to be the case for the whole year. Luckily, we don't have much in terms of back-to-backs here, so, resting shouldn't be a huge issue. With that in mind, let's break down this Tuesday slate. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer and our NFL Optimizer. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9400 DK - $9600 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 49.99 DK - 52.84 Curry has always been a stud but he should go crazy this season with Kevin Durant gone and Klay Thompson injured. That's certainly been the case in the early going, posting a 31 percent usage rate while taking 21 shots a game. That usage is big news for a dude who might be the best shooter of all-time and his 44 fantasy points per game thus far might end up being his floor from here on out. We love the matchup against Detroit too, as we should have a competitive matchup against one of the worst teams in the NBA. Golden State playing close games is arguably the most important aspect of Curry's value. Elfrid Payton FD - $4800 DK - $5500 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 32.55 DK - 32.1 Payton was downright dreadful in his first two games of the season but his stellar performance on Sunday shows the sort of potential this kid has. Elf provided 27 points and seven assists in that gem and he's plenty capable of providing fantasy lines like that regularly. In his final 21 games last season, Payton averaged 35.6 DK points per game. That obviously makes him a huge value in this $5,000 price range and we love that he faces a Cleveland defense surrendering the most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards. Russell Westbrook has been amazing in his first few games with the Wizards and is another great pick with his stat-stuffing ways. Shooting Guard Zach LaVine FD - $7500 DK - $8400 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 40.02 DK - 41.77 It's strange to see...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday, 12/28/20

Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $8500 DK - $8300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 42.39 DK - 44.05 Don't look now, but one of the league's most exciting young players might just be making a leap. Morant has shot 24 times a game over his first two this season - a 10 shot jump over last year's average - while being even more efficient from the field. He's played 4 more minutes per game, which looks to be his rotation in close games going forward. Now this Brooklyn game rates to be his toughest test yet in terms of Memphis' ability to stay in the game, but nobody will accuse Kyrie and Dinwiddie of being a strong defensive backcourt. Morant is going to settle in as a player who's 10% more expensive in short order, and I'm a buyer on these prices. Jamal Murray FD - $7100 DK - $7100Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 35.7 DK - 36.55 Isn't this kind of a steal for what we got used to expecting from Murray during the bubble last season? I get that it's been a rocky start so far, but if there's one thing we've learned from 7 years in this business it's this: we want to be buyers when a guy's price drops due to a bad shooting percentage. Murray went 1-9 in his debut, which has sandbagged his entire DFS season. He still got 20 shots in the air against the Clippers, and the 37 minutes he played mean the Nuggets aren't concerned about his calf. If he merely returns to last season's form, he's a terrific play against a banged-up Rockets team that has trouble with speedy point guards. Also considered: Killian Hayes? Playing in the NBA has looked hard for the Pistons' rookie so far, but Derrick Rose sitting opens up a lot of ball-handling duties. Shooting Guard Harden With John Wall still in his mandated quarantine, Harden will continue to work his way back into shape against the Nuggets on Monday. It's not like the few extra pounds really hurt his ability to play basketball, very well, for a long period of time - Harden...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 12/27/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/27/20 Just a heads up about this Sunday slate. With the compressed schedule, 12 of the 20 teams going here are on back-to-backs. That likely means we see more than a few guys rest, opening up some cheaper value down the line. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $8300 DK - $9300Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 44.34 DK - 47.12 The Warriors have had a rough start to the season, losing the first two games by getting trounced in each. But they also had to face two of the best teams in basketball in the Nets and Bucks. Things ease up considerably here against the Bulls. Curry is averaging 20 points a game to start, but the minutes have only been around 30 because the 4th quarters were out of hand. He’s also adding about nine assists and four boards per game. The FanDuel price is too cheap to get away from in what lands as choice matchup against Chicago. Dejounte Murray FD - $7300 DK - $6800Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 38.7 DK - 38.42 Murray has had a solid start to the season mostly thanks to his ability to stay on the floor more consistently than what happened last year. Pop would jack the minutes around at times, sometimes having him see 25 or fewer. But it’s been 30 and 31 in the first two games and he’s nearly averaging a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. The defensive stats haven’t been there in quite the same way, but I expect those to come around as the season moves a long. Considering his start to the season, it’s hard to argue with what Kyrie Irving is doing on a per minute basis. The issue here is that there’s some risk the Nets blow out the Hornets and that cuts the minutes. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $7600 DK - $9600Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 43.16 DK - 44.4 Kawhi Leonard took a nasty shot to the face on Christmas Day and had to get eight stitches. I’m not sure the Clippers will run him right back out there on Sunday and that could...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 12/26/20

Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7100 DK - $7400 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 37.36 DK - 38.82 Brogdon was, quite simply, phenomenal in the Pacers' opener against the Knicks. He was efficient on 8-16 shooting, and chipped in a well-rounded 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals while he was at it. He played 35 minutes and appeared to be in excellent shape. Tonight he'll draw the Bulls, an average defensive team last year that arguably has gotten worse as it's shifted more minutes to the defensive challenged Coby White. I picture Brogdon rounding into an $8,000 DFS play in short order, and think we're getting a discount here. Dejounte Murray FD - $6900 DK - $6400 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 35.91 DK - 35.61 Speaking of under-priced point guards, Murray put up a Brogdon-esque 21/6/9/2 line against the Grizzlies before losing a few minutes when the game was out of hand. With Derrick White out for this one as well, we can expect Murray to shoulder a similar burden against the Raptors here. While the Spurs played a middle-of-the-pack pace over the course of last season, they were one of the fastest-paced teams in the bubble last year, and I think many players on this squad could be under-priced as a result. Terry Rozier FD - $6400 DK - $7000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 31.88 DK - 33.46 Any concerns that Lamelo Ball was going to usurp the Charlotte point guard throne have to be at least set aside for the moment, with the Hornets' big-ticket point guard going to town for 42 points from the field an astounding 10 three-pointers against the Cavaliers in the Hornets' opener. He played 38 minutes out of the gate. Ball looked lost and didn't score a point in his 16 minutes on the court. Rozier's job looks safe for the time being, and while you don't love paying significantly more than you did in the opener, his floor looks high enough that you can justify it against a bad OKC team. Shooting Guard Buddy Hield FD - $5600 DK - $7100 Opponent -...
