Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9700 DK - $10300 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 51.75 DK - 55.6 This might be a bold statement, but I truly believe that Curry is the most important player in the NBA. This dude changes the sport the way he spreads the court, and it's earned the Warriors a few championships. This is about this slate, though, and Curry is easily one of the best options on the board. Since returning from an injury on March 29, Chef Curry has at least 47 DraftKings points in 13 of his last 14 games. He's actually averaging over 55 DK points per game in that span, making it hard to believe that he's only hovering around $10K. Facing Dallas is a dandy matchup, too, with Curry collecting 57 points, two rebounds, and five assists the last time these two teams faced off. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $8500 DK - $8800 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 46.53 DK - 48.58 The Pacers are one of the most beat-up teams in the NBA right now, and it's led to Brogdon's best stretch of his career. They're currently missing Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner, which has boosted Brogdon's usage, rebounding, and shot attempts. That's crystal clear when you see that MB has at least 38 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games, averaging 48 DraftKings points per game in that stretch. That's why we have this projection where it is, and this matchup might be the best part of this play. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11200 DK - $10900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 52.78 DK - 56.48 Westbrook has made an appearance in cash game lineups on a day-in-day-out basis for weeks now. He's nearly back to MVP Russ levels, hitting at least 49 FanDuel points in every game since April 1st. The Spurs have been a top ten match-up for opposing point guards all season, and I'm looking to Russ as a great pay-up option if we get as much value as we usually do on huge slates like this. Derrick White FD - $5800 DK - $6900 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 37.37 DK - 37.89 White is embarrassingly cheap on FanDuel for what he's been up to recently. He's been in a lot of weird games recently, which has caused his minutes to be all over the place. We saw Pop's plan for him in close games against the Pels, when White played 37 minutes and scored 39 FanDuel points. His time on ball is increasing as well, which has led to more assists and more points recently. It's a dream match-up with the indifferent Wizards, who have allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season. I love White in any format. Keep an eye on Delon Wright. I'm writing this before the Kings' Sunday night game, but there's a good chance he fills in for Fox and is way too cheap for his current opportunity. Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $6100 DK - $6800 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 33.33 DK - 34.2 With Fox out for at least 10 days in the Covid-19 protocol, much of the heavy lifting on offense should fall to Halliburton. This guy was floating around cash game lineups even with Fox handy, so spreading his usage among them is a dream come true for DFS purposes. Dallas plays a slow pace, but their bottom 10 defensive efficiency should allow for plenty of good opportunities for Tyrese to get his. I'm a buyer until the prices move to fairer levels. He’s shooting an unheard of 47% from three on almost 14 attempts per game over the last month. This is a stupid number and it has him averaging 38 points (38!) in that stretch. Now on Sunday, he’ll get to face the worst defense in the league, kind of by a lot, in the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors are still very much in win-now mode trying to secure a playoff berth and have been running Curry major minutes. That should continue to be the case on Sunday and he makes a high floor play on both sites and kind of just a bargain on FanDuel. Darius Garland FD - $7300 DK - $7200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 33.81 DK - 35.25 Collin Sexton has already been ruled out of this game which means we should see a usage and assist uptick for Garland against the Wizards. Garland’s had a real nice sophomore season for the Cavs, shooting 40% from beyond the arc while also getting the assists up to six a game. I love the matchup against a fast-paced Wizards team and considering he should see an uptick just in ball handling minutes, this is a perfect time to buy in the upper-middle tier on Garland. Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $5800 DK - $6200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 31.59 DK - 32.23 De’Aaron Fox has already been ruled out of this game and the Kings have announced that Halliburton will take his place in the starting lineup. Halliburton gets major bumps across the board this season with Fox off the floor. The latter sees about a 9% uptick in his stage percentage and the assists climb a whopping 15%. His price hasn’t fully corrected for the starting point guard role for the Kings in this matchup so we are buying at a value. They were careful with his minutes earlier in the year, but that might not be the case anymore for the Kings. Caris Levert FD...

The last two games the Jazz have been in some blowouts which has buzzed off the starter’s minutes and that could definitely be the case again here versus that Timberwolves. But the usage uptick a guy like Conley sees with Mitchell off the court is worth the risk. He has the second-highest usage on the team (24%) when Donovan is off the court this season. Armoni Brooks FD - $4200 DK - $3800Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 23.74 DK - 25.4 The Rockets are going to sit a bunch of guys on Saturday leaving a ton of minutes for the bench/ fill-in dudes. Brooks should see the start here at point guard and could play minutes in the very high 30s (or even more). He’s played 35 and 30 respectively over the last two though only scored six and nine points. But he shot poorly and also that was with other volume shooters like John Wall and Christian Wood in the mix. Those dudes aren’t playing here which should open up all kinds of opportunity for Brooks in the short term. If Porzingis is out, we might be paying up for Luka Doncic (FD 11500 DK 11000). Shooting Guard Joe Ingles FD - $6500 DK - $6600Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 33.22 DK - 35.17 Jordan Clarkson FD - $5900 DK - $6500Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 29.86 DK - 31.53 There’s some multi-position eligibility with Ingles here on DraftKings, though you’ll need to slot him into small forward on FanDuel. But with Mitchell still out these two guys remain very good options. Ingles sees a definitive minutes increase when the Jazz are down any guard and the usage ticks up as well. As I said with Conley, the last couple of games have been blowouts for the Jazz so the minutes haven’t been all that robust. And we could be staring at that again, but it might still be worth the risk on Ingles even...

What's fascinating about this slate is how many superstars we have missing. Kawhi Leonard, Trae Young, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, James Harden, Gordon Hayward, and Jonas Valanciunas have all been ruled out already, and almost all of those absences will play a factor in this article. The sharpshooter has at least 52 DraftKings points in 11 of his 12 games since returning from injury, averaging nearly 60 fantasy points per game in that span. It's not like it's some outlier stretch either, with Curry providing similar shooting averages to his absurd career numbers. One of those majestic performances happened to come against this Nuggets defense, with Chef Curry collecting 53 points, six rebounds, and four assists en route to 69 DraftKings points. John Wall FD - $7800 DK - $7500 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 42.28 DK - 43.69 The Rockets are one of the worst teams in the NBA, and it's overshadowed a bounceback season from this former All-Star. The speedy point guard has at least 29 DraftKings points in 33 of his 39 games this season, generating a 38-point average for the year. Both of those numbers are hard to overlook from a sub-$8K player because Wall always produces when he's in the lineup. We'd usually be concerned about him facing this tough Clippers defense, but they're currently missing Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley. We love that with Wall averaging 47 fantasy points per game in his last two meetings with LA. especially with Kevin Porter out as well.
