DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks for Thursday 4/1/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 4/1/21 Many eyes will be fixated on baseball for Opening Day, but we NBA guys are ready to keep grinding. Wednesday's slate went really well for us, and we're going to look to build off that momentum here. We have seven games making up this ledger which is the ideal amount for the player pool. We have a handful of teams playing the second half of a back-to-back set, though, and that'll be something to monitor as we get closer to the first tip. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $11000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 54.55 DK - 57.72 It's honestly crazy how good this guy has been recently. He's now the highest-priced player in DFS, and he's earned every bit of it. Over his last 22 games, Russ is averaging 23.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 11.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Those absurd averages are even more ridiculous recently, with Westbrook combining 57 points, 29 rebounds, and 35 assists over the last two games. That's a good month for a lot of players, and his volume should continue to be massive if Bradley Beal is out again. All of that makes him worth it, no matter the price, but this matchup isn't too bad either. Detroit currently ranks 15th in defensive efficiency, and they're a lot worse at PG with Delon Wright being traded to Sacramento. Michael Carter-Williams FD - $5300 DK - $5900 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 29.07 DK - 29.48 Orlando decided to trade away their whole roster at the trade deadline, and it's forced MCW into the role that made him a Rookie of the Year in Philly. They're now without Evan Fournier, Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz, and Cole Anthony, leaving Carter-Williams to feast. He was actually nicked up in the first two games without those guys but collecting eight points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and three steals on Tuesday shows the sort of upside he has. MCW has proven to be able to stuff the stat sheet at ease when given the opportunity, and this is undoubtedly his biggest chance since his Philly days. The matchup with...
DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks for Wednesday 3/31/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/31/21 To be honest, Tuesday's schedule sucked. We had just four games in total, and most of them were stinkers. That has us motivated to have a big night here, and there's plenty to pick from with 10 games on the docket. It also looks like we could have a lot of close games, with Brooklyn being the only double-digit favorite out there. There's a lot to discuss, though, so let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $6300 DK - $7200 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 36.14 DK - 38.16 Lowry has had some stinkers recently, but this $6,300 price tag on FanDuel is laughable. This guy has played at a $7K level for most of the season and has had stretches where he's more like an 8-9K player. We say that because he's averaging 38 fantasy points per game for the season, which is right on par with our projections. That alone is 6X value over on FanDuel, and it's even 5X value on DraftKings. We really like him today because of this matchup, though, with Oklahoma City putting out a G-League lineup. That should allow the Raptors to play a competitive game for once, especially with OKC ranked 18th in total defense. Tomas Satoransky FD - $4500 DK - $4500 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 27.23 DK - 27.92 Sato is risky right now with Nikola Vucevic swallowing up so many touches now, but this price tag is silly. He's actually usurped Coby White on the depth chart, starting at point guard for the last few weeks. The Czech guard has scored at least 18 DK points in all nine starts he's made, averaging 26 fantasy points per game in that span. That's a 4X floor and a 6X average, making it hard to believe he's just $4,500 on both sites. While Vooch's presence is worrisome, it sounds like Zach LaVine or Coby White could be out here. If that's the case, Sato's role will increase even more, with very little backcourt depth left after these three. Damian Lillard has fallen below $10K on both sites and can easily drop 50 fantasy points. Shooting...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 3/30/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday 3/30/21 After a crazy 11-game slate on Monday, we're down to just four games here. While the Clippers-Magic game is likely to be lopsided, we anticipate the other three games staying close. What's also fascinating about this slate is that we have numerous teams who participated at the trade deadline. That should make things interesting, and it'll definitely play a huge factor in this article. With that in mind, let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $7900 DK - $8700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 44.18 DK - 43.91 It seems really weird that Simmons price has dropped below $8K on FanDuel. This guy has been nothing but productive since Joel Embiid went down, playing some of the best basketball of his career. In fact, B-Sim is averaging 39 DraftKings points per game across his last 15 outings. That tremendous production is no surprise when you see that Sim has a 25 percent usage rate with Embiid off the floor while averaging over 1.2 DK points per minute. He's been doing that damage despite many of those games being blowouts, and a close game with the Nuggets should force him into 35-40 minutes. It happens to be a quality matchup, too, with Denver ranked 21st in defensive efficiency. Terry Rozier FD - $7500 DK - $7700 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 40.23 DK - 41.79 Scary Terry has been giving opponents nightmares all season long, and it's crazy to think how good he can be with LaMelo Ball out for the foreseeable future. The breakout guard is posting a career-best 35 DK points per game for the season and lead the starters with a 25 percent usage rate with Ball off the floor. That boost in usage has allowed Rozier to score at least 36 DK points in each of his last four fixtures, averaging 43 fantasy points per game in that span. That lofty average is actually below our projection, and it's easy to see why when looking at this matchup. Washington currently ranks 27th in defensive efficiency while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA. Russell Westbrook is the most expensive player on...

This is going to be a slightly different article than usual, because this is a very different slate than we've become accustomed to. Saturday featured perhaps the craziest night of injuries in DFS history, with an unprecedented number of late injuries to players of all calibers. As such, many of these players are questionable tonight, and any attempt to write a regular picks article is likely to be worthless by the time lineups finally lock. Instead, we're going to take a look at the key information you need to keep an eye out for tonight, and how you should be prepared to proceed if certain news comes out. Washington vs. Indiana There are a handful of under-priced Pacers that you can play if incredible value doesn't open up elsewhere. We've got a close eye on Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon in particular. The Wizards pair a bottom-five defense with the league's fastest PACE, and It will be tough to go wrong running Pacers out there almost no matter what happens elsewhere. On the Washington side, you'll need to keep an eye on Bradley Beal's status. He left Saturday's game early, and Garrison Mathews saw 31 minutes as a result. I'm not super bullish on Mathews necessarily, but Russell Westbrook would be in line for huge usage if Beal were to miss this one. New Orleans vs. Boston The main news to keep an eye on here concerns the point guards of both teams. Both Kemba Walker and Lonzo Ball are currently listed as questionable, but they are in very different situations. It's believed that Walker missed Saturday's game due to rest, and it's likely he'll play here. It's a nice match-up with the Pelicans, but no Celtics are really jumping off the page here. There's also the possibility of Evan Fournier making his debut, which would further complicate things. Ball, on the other hand, pulled himself from Thursday's practice and wound up missing his last game, and I'd guess he's closer to a 30% chance to play here. If he winds up sitting, that gives Nickeil Alexander-Walker a bunch of extra...

Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $6600 DK - $7500Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 40.59 DK - 42.88 Lowry didn’t get traded at the deadline, much to the surprise of, well, almost everyone. But the Raptors couldn’t find a deal they liked and decided to keep the best player in franchise history. The plan is to still run him major minutes and he played 35 in a close game against the Suns on Friday even with some foul trouble. This is a short slate and Toronto, who still very much would like to make the playoffs have the best matchup against the Trailblazers and their second-worst defense in the league. Michael Carter-Williams FD - $5300 DK - $6300Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 29.07 DK - 29.82 Carter-Williams didn’t get the start on Friday night for the Magic but it was only because he didn’t feel well at the last second before tip-off. He still came in off the bench when his tum tum started feeling better. The Magic made team-gutting moves at the trade deadline, but didn’t bring back much in the way of guards other than rookie RJ Hampton. I still think there are a lot of minutes for MCW here who averaged 11 points, six assists and five rebounds in *only* 28 minutes last game. The floor is higher for him if he’s starting again and the FanDuel price is a little too cheap. Shooting Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $7400 DK - $7800Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 44.65 DK - 45.29 Like Lowry, there are still a lot of minutes for the Raptors’ starters going forward and Fred VanVleet plays as many minutes as anyone in the league. He’s played 39 or more in four of the last five games and has put up 10+ three-pointers in three of the last four. This is a great matchup against the Blazers who struggle with perimeter defense and FVV has some higher scoring upside in this game. On the shorter slate, it’s tough to face his minutes floor considering the matchup is the best on the slate. C.J. McCollum FD - $7900 DK - $8000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 44.31...
