Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $10800 DK - $10900 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 54.64 DK - 56.52 Wednesday night we were given a glimpse of the Russell Westbrook of old as the Thunder played host to Golden State. Perhaps it was the anticipation of Thursdays turkey feast, or perhaps it was the chance to shine against former teammate Kevin Durant, or perhaps Westbrook is finally taking control of the new look OKC offense. In the past two games Westbrook posted identical fantasy performances, coming one assist shy of his second straight triple double after posting a 22/16/12 line against the Pelicans on Monday night. Wednesday he posted a season high 34 points against the Warriors, unleashing the beast as soon as the clock started counting down and not letting up all night. While he opened up the season quietly, allowing newcomers Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to find their place in the Thunder lineup, it seems safe to say that Westbrook is once again becoming the central force of the OKC offense posting 20+ points in five of his last six outings. The Mavericks have been terrible at defending the one this season, and are allowing a league high 23.9 points per game, so look for Westbrook to put on a shooting clinic and if the peripherals fall into place he will absolutely crush value. T.J. McConnell FD - $4700 DK - $4000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 32.45 DK - 31.97 The Sixers announced early on Friday that Ben Simmons will miss tonight's game against the Magic, so T.J. McConnell will draw the start at the point for Philadelphia. McConnell has been a solid play off of the Philly bench this season with Simmons starting at point guard, so this will be a flashback to last season when McConnell was the primary starter and performed very well with Joel Embiid. This season, the pair still have a positive net rating when on the court together, and McConnell has posted some very impressive fantasy lines, even with the Philadelphia second unit. Back in the starting unit at a low-mid ranged price on both sites, the system loves T.J as the top point per dollar projection on...

We've got a solid seven game slate of hoops action tonight, which is rather generous compared to some of the weak offering's the 2017 schedule has given us to this point. Tonight has it all, high projections, fast paced teams, weak defenses, electric offenses, and a bit of injury concern. Most of that factors in to our opening play for the evening in Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are an electric offense, that play at a high clip of speed and face the Sixers tonight in the game with the highest projected total of the evening. The Warriors travel into the Wells Fargo Center a week after playing host to Philly in Oakland. In that game the Philly squad held their own with the champions through three quarters before Golden State let loose in the final frame on their way to a 135-114 win. Steph was solid in that one, coming just an assist shy of a double double with 22 points, four assists and a steal in 29 minutes. He missed the next game against Orlando with a bruised thigh, returning Thursday in Boston for a less than impressive nine point showing which surely factors in to him costing $4-500 less than he did the last time these teams met up. Steph should have a nice bounce back performance tonight in a game the Warriors are a clear favorite to win, but aren't expected to run away with. Even if they do, I'd expect it to be a repeat of last week with Philly keeping it competitive long enough to allow Steph to pay value. If this one ends with less than a ten point differential as projected, Steph could see more than enough time to make a great tournament play, but even if it gets out of hand, Curry should easily pay cash value before we get to that point. Mario Chalmers FD - $3900 DK - $4100Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 22.35 DK - 23.34 We're going to follow Steph up with a couple...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Stephen Curry FD - $9200 DK - $9500Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 49.98 DK - 51.41 We've got a short set of only five games on the docket for today, one of which sees the Warriors traveling into Denver to face the Nuggets. This game opened with a monster 229.5 projection and sees the Warriors as just an eight point favorite. This gave us a chance to do something that doesn't happen too often here, and spotlight the Splash Brothers. We'll get to Klay in a moment, but we lead off at the point tonight with Steph Curry. Steph tends to go overlooked in cash game plays with safer plays in the form of Russell Westbrook and John Wall floating around out there, but tonight the system loves Curry among the top point per dollar plays of the day at any position. Through nine games this season Steph's averaging just under 33 minutes per game, seeing upwards of 37 while averaging 27 points per game and picking up some steady peripherals. He'll spend most of his night paired up with Jamal Murray who is a fine defender, but not really a threat to Curry. Curry is an absolutely stellar play on FanDuel where his salary sits at a season Low, conversely, the DraftKings salary is a season high and while he is still a fine cash play, the upside may be limited unless he finds a way to keep himself out on the court for 40+ minutes. Jrue Holiday FD - $7200 DK - $6700Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 34.44 DK - 35.07 Jrue Holiday saw his salary across the industry hit a high note on Monday following what was arguably his best output of the season last Saturday against the Cavaliers. Two lackluster performances later the price has dropped back down to a more desirable level. While still a bit higher than I might like to pay for a player whose usage and production can be streaky at times, I'm sold on Jrue for one specific reason tonight. The Bulls. Chicago is absolutely terrible defending against the point allowing the most fantasy points at the position at this point in the season. Holiday is a multi-tool player,...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $11500Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 53.41 DK - 56.86 We have a mini three game set of NBA games today, but that's alright because Sundays are for football right? Still, there is basketball action and we need to breakdown the top plays for the die hards, and it goes without saying at the top of the list is one Mr. Westbrook. Russ had one of those one-off games last night against the Jazz, being limited to a mere six points, and though he was able to make up some fantasy ground with 13 boards and nine dimes, it was still quite the underwhelming outcome based on cost. That being said, this is Russell Westbrook, and we know that was an outlier of one of the most reliable names in the NBA. Expect a huge bounce back this afternoon as the Thunder play host to Minnesota, and on this short slate, I think it's safe to say, you absolutely must have Russ in your line if you want to end the night in the green. Jrue Holiday FD - $6700 DK - $5900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 38.52 DK - 38.78 The last game of the day also has the highest projected total from Vegas as the Pelicans hit the Staples Center to play the Lakers. L.A. is starting the season out as one of the top defenses to target for opposing point guards, which is promising news for Jrue Holiday who has failed to pay off in his first two games, but did look better Friday night against the Warriors. Jrue was missing buckets like it was his job in the opener against Memphis, despite it being the exact opposite of his job, but managed to get himself into double digits in scoring the next time out against Golden State. Jrue is a solid player at the point and once he gets going he should start crushing value at these prices, and what better time than against the Lakers where he'll be countered with Lonzo Ball who has impressed out of the gate with his offense but has done little to nothing on the defensive side. This could be the day Holiday...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $11100 Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 55.33 DK - 57.1 The question going into Thursday night's opener for the Thunder against the Knicks had us asking with the addition of Carmelo Anthony and Paul George to OKC would we still see the same Russ we've come to know and love, or would his usage take a hit? The answers being yes and yes. Despite seeing a 25% drop in his usage (27.8% as opposed to 40.8% last season) Russ still did his thing for the fantasy owners posting his first triple double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists in 33 minutes of court time, 32 of which he shared with either Melo, George, or both. It's still early, and one game certainly isn't an indicator of any trends but the fact remains, Westbrook is one of the most exciting figures in the NBA today, and regardless of who you surround him with when he hits the court he runs the show. If his teammates are taking the shots, he'll be right there dishing out the assists and snagging the rebounds, and he still is priced at a bargain compared to what we were spending on him at last seasons peak. All things considered Westbrook is a necessity in any cash lineup and is always a GPP threat with upside for days. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $5500 DK - $5000 Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 28.65 DK - 28.67 Okay, I'm going to put my personal feelings aside here, (despite the fact that Embiid and Saric were both deserving regardless of playing time) and talk up the reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon is far from a game changer, but what he is, is a solid contributor on offense who presents a high floor at a value price. Brogdon saw 41 minutes of play on Wednesday in Boston for the season opener, and dropped 19 points while picking up a rebound and four assists. Despite nearly 10 fewer minutes against the Cavaliers last night, he managed to match his production. It's clear the offense in Milwaukee runs through Giannis, and Brogdon is a point guard in name only. That...
