Point Guards John Wall FD - $9500 DK - $9500 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 47.48 DK - 50.55 On a nightly basis, Wall has about as much fantasy upside as any point guard in the game (outside of guys whose names rhyme with Schmestbrook) and his minutes floor provides so much safety game in and game out. He'll consistently see run of 36+ and there's a great deal of safety in knowing his minutes are there. The Pacers are among the worst in the league at defending the opposing point guard this season, allowing around 5% more scoring to the position. Wall's on ball time is as high as you'll see and he's averaging a 23/10 on the year with both the scoring and assists up in the short term. The prices are on the move up but he's still a cash game value on a big slate. Stephen Curry FD - $8400 DK - $8100 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 40.9 DK - 44.98 He struggled on Christmas Day against the Cavs and it's pretty clear Curry isn't going to have the same fantasy impact this year as we saw in the past. The Warriors are just a new team with Durant on the floor and Steph's seeing less production across the board because of it. But the price is also way down season-over-season and we can still play him in spots when the matchup's right. The Raptors are projected to keep the game close (ish) tonight and are below average at defending the opposing point guard. Steph's still got some heat check in him and he's been running bad from beyond the arc with a 40% 3PT% (down from 44% for career). I like his price a bit more on DraftKings where there's also the three point bonus. Rajon Rondo FD - $5700 DK - $5900 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 30.24 DK - 32.5 You don't love the 24 minutes he saw last game against the Pacers (an aforementioned bad team against point guards) and that has me...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 12/27/16 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis break down a short, four game, NBA slate of games. It’s a somewhat rough grouping of games with teams like Memphis and the Jazz slowing things down in their games. The big decision comes from deciding who to pay up for tonight, James Harden or Russell Westbrook. The latter is likely priced out of contention in a game against Miami though Dallas isn’t a fantastic matchup for Harden. They also discuss the Jazz as solid plays against the Lakers. And finally they look at the weakest group of power forwards on FanDuel. Subscribe to this podcast on...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guards Russell Westbrook FD - $13000 DK - $12500 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 56.14 DK - 59.7 This loser thought so little of Christmas that he couldn't even give us a tripe-double. What is this guy's problem? Does he hate the holidays? Instead he puts up a pedestrian 31/15/7/1/1 line that comes close to paying off these exorbitant prices. And that's the big question: What can we pay for Westbrook? He's as expensive as I can ever remember a guy on either site and on a short slate it's tough to fit his salary. This is a big pace downgrade for Westbrook playing Miami who run the 5th slowest in the league with a top third defensive efficiency. Ultimately, it's only how much you can stomach fading the best fantasy player we're likely to see in quite some time. It will greatly depend on what kind of punt value shows up along the edges. Goran Dragic FD - $7300 DK - $7100 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 35.92 DK - 38.22 With the Heat in a constant state of injury turmoil, Dragic remains the Miami usage dude as he's comfortable getting up 15+ shots per game while also chipping in along the other fantasy margins. Dragic doesn't play traditional point in all of the Heat sets, but he does command a fair amount of the usage when he's on the court and is enough of a threat from behind the arc that his upside is there is if he heats up. This game has a decent total and Dragic should see a ton of court time against Russ and company. Miami is still dealing with plenty of backcourt injuries and Dragic is versatile enough to work between the one and two that I like his floor. Very strongly consider Shelvin Mack with George Hill doubtful and Dante Exum still out tonight. Mack's minutes are secure enough at the point that you're still getting value on his price. He isn't a focal point of the offense, but he's a value play for sure. There's a ton of safety in guys who control the ball for 30+ minutes at these prices. It doesn't feel amazing, but the opponent helps a ton...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 12/26/16

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 12/26/16 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Chris Paul and J.J Redick are both likely out Paul has been ruled out, and they said Redick will "likely miss a game or two", so I would think both of these guys sit. If they do, Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford and Raymond Felton would all be in play. I would like all 3 in all formats, with Rivers being my favorite. DeAndre Jordan takes a small bump down, as Paul is a big reason why he ever scores. If Redick is somehow in, I would only like Rivers and Crawford, and not nearly as much. What We're Waiting to Know Damian Lillard is listed as doubtful Dame is likely gonna miss this one, which is a huge blow to the offense. In his absence, I expect C.J. McCollum and Allen Crabbe to get big bumps. Both should see an increase in minutes and usage. The Raptors have a decent defense, but play at a fast pace. Because of that, they give up a ton of points, which most coming on the perimeter. Both McCollum and Crabbe make good plays, and you can use McCollum in cash as well. Evan Fournier is a GTD Fournier missed last game against the Lakers, which resulted in Jodie Meeks picking up 27 minutes. If Fournier is out, I like Meeks and Payton most, and both could be used across the board. Meeks is more of a scorer, but that team will need one if Fournier misses. The "Every Lineup" Guys James Harden Harden is taking on the Suns, so we have to give him a long hard look. The Suns are a team that plays at an incredibly fast pace, and in result, their opposition fills up the stat sheet. Harden is the ultimate stat stuffer, and he is doing it in 3 different categories this year… Well 4 if you count turnovers. I would say a triple double is easily in the equation tonight...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $12600 DK - $12500 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 61.3 DK - 65.3 Russell Westbrook. I know we all know that, but wow. He is an unstoppable force, and we have never seen a season like this, ever. He is still averaging a triple double, and went for 45/11/11 last time out against the Celtics. The Timberwolves have been an average defense this year, but have picked up there pace lately. I think Ricky Rubio will get destroyed earlier, and then LaVine or Wiggins could try to stop him as well. We have seen it a ton of times this year, and Westbrook has continually dominated. Over his last 10, he has topped 60 in 6 games and topped 70 twice. There is value on this slate, so I think you can get Westbrook and his hefty price tag in your cash games. He is also a really interesting option in tournaments, as I don't think he will be more than 30% owned, which is rare. Make sure you get exposure to Russell Westbrook if you want to have a Merry Christmas! Chris Paul FD - $9600 DK - $9300 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 46.6 DK - 49.26 If you want to pay down a little bit for a guy that is extremely safe, Chris Paul is a good way to go. He took a day off due to hurting his hamstring against the Mavs, so make sure you keep an eye on that. As I write this, he is listed as questionable but has not had an opportunity to practice yet. If he does end up playing, he is going to be a nightmare for the Lakers. With Blake Griffin out for at least a few weeks, Paul is going to have to step up. If we look back to last year when Blake Griffin was out, Paul had his numbers spike across the board, and was a fantasy gem for about a month. I'm looking at him the same way here, and would not flinch to play him if he is active. He is a supreme cash game play, and could easily put up 60, which is plenty of upside for tournaments...
