We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Brandon Jennings FD - $4600 DK - $4400 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 28.27 DK - 30.94 Derrick Rose left last game, and we are expecting him to miss this one. If Rose plays, Jennings is nowhere near as good of a play. Rose has missed 3 games over the last 20, and Jennings has been great in his spot. In those 3 games, Jennings finished with 27, 34 and 27. He also hit over 20 in a few games where Rose did play. The Hawks haven't been great against PG's this season, as Dennis Schroder is a much worse defender than Jeff Teague. Jennings takes plenty of shots, and he is not shy about having the ball in his hand. He should see an easy 34 minutes if Rose is out, and will be a lock for cash games. He would be close to a tournament must as well, as his upside combined with price gives him the capability to be a guy that could be a must to win. With that being said, there are always a lot of ways to go at point guards, and today is no different. Let's take a look at a few guys you can target if you want to pay up. John Wall FD - $10200 DK - $9800 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 49.16 DK - 52.37 Wall has been awesome this year, and it doesn't look like he plans on letting up anytime soon. The Pelicans present an interest match up, and one I have a lot of interest in. Jrue Holiday is a decent man to man defender, but the Pelicans play fast and have poor defensive efficiency. In result, they give up the 8th most fantasy points to PG's. Wall is the guy who makes this offense go, and he should be right back at it tonight against the Pels. The minutes are a guarantee, as the Wizards didn't play yesterday and they don't play tomorrow. This is a game with a lot of upside, and I love a game stack in tournaments. If this stays close, Wall, Beal, AD and Holiday all have a bunch of upside. Wall is someone I will have exposure to in all...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/27/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. What We Know Demar Derozan is out vs the Bucks Derozan has missed the previous 2 games, and Norman Powell has taken the most advantage. He has destroyed value in 2 straight games, and would expect the same here. Kyle Lowry has also picked up some usage, and could have a huge game. Hassan Whiteside is out vs the Bulls This kind of came out of nowhere, but opens up a cheap option for sure. Willie Reed becomes a fantastic option, and we will talk about him in a bit. James Johnson could also get more run, but is nothing more than a tournament option against the Bulls. Eric Gordon is listed as doubtful to play Gordon sat out last game vs Boston, and Sam Dekker ended up seeing 29 minutes. Dekker remains a good play tonight, and he has a ton of upside. Corey Brewer could also pick up some more run, but he isn't just not too productive when on the court. What We're Waiting to Know Kawhi Leonard is questionable to play vs Pelicans Everyone thought this injury was just a fake story to let Kawhi take a game or two off, but this looks like it might be real. If he plays tonight, he is an interesting option in tournaments and should go way under owned. If he misses, Kyle Anderson, David Lee and LaMarcus Aldridge all gain a lot of traction. Evan Fournier is questionable vs the Celtics Fournier is a guy who shoots a lot when on the court, so his absence does matter. Fournier has been out for a while, and C.J. Watson has been getting the most minutes. Ibaka and Payton also get a bump, and I have a lot of interest in both. The "Every Lineup" Guys Elfrid Payton Payton is still just way too cheap here, given what his role on this offense is. Sure, he disappointed a lot of people last time out, but...
DFSR’s Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Friday 1/27/17
DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Friday 1/27/17 It’s another DFSR NBA solo podcast today with Doug Norrie talking a very uncertain slate of Friday NBA action. As of the time of the recording, half of the games didn’t have Vegas lines as we wait for a bunch of injury news to flush out. Doug goes game-by-game and breaks down things to look out for and who would stand to see increased value in injury situations. It’s a tough nut to crack this early in the day as we are waiting on news about Joel Embiid, Demar Derozan, Kawhi Leonard and Hassan Whiteside just to name a few. There’s also talk about some of the safer plays like Kemba Walker, Nic Batum and how the Magic look tonight against the Celtics. Then at the 37:25 mark Doug jumps on with Blake Pender, the founder of LineupLab and DFSR’s partner and CTO. They discuss the process for creating new DFS products, how to use the PlayerLab tools and what to look forward to coming down the DFSR pike. Subscribe to this podcast on...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks – FanDuel & DraftKings 1/27/17
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/27/17 I waited until this morning to write the picks hoping some pieces of injury information would at least begin to crystallize a little. That didn’t happen. Even at the time of this post (8 AM EST) half of the games lacked Vegas lines. And so we are left with a ton of question marks. This picks article is going to look a little different than normal as for some positions there will be more “if this, then that” scenarios. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guards Mike Conley FD - $7400 DK - $7400 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 37.85 DK - 39.99 With the Grizzlies a little banged up and overall lacking much in the way real scorers, even more of the offensive load has fallen on Conley’s shoulders this season. He’s averaging more shots per minute this season as compared to last and been much more efficient from beyond the arc (40% from three as compared to a 37% career average). He’s also rebounding the position much better this season, roughly 13% more than what he’s done over his time in the NBA. Portland isn’t a fantastic matchup though Lillard certainly isn’t known for his on ball defense. Conley’s a relative value especially considering the Grizz have needed to play him minutes in the mid-to-high 30’s over the short term. Look for that to continue tonight. Elfrid Payton FD - $6500 DK - $7000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 35.03 DK - 36.99 I’ve never seen a point guard dribble the ball off his own legs for a turnover in one game more than Elfrid did in his last one against the Bulls. It was straight up brutal to watch and he was a TO machine for the whole affair. And yet I’m going right back to the well here against the Celtics. I like this play significantly more if D.J. Augustin is ruled out again for Friday, but the Boston D versus point guards this season is such that I’m almost willing to take Payton even if the Magic come into the game full strength. They are allowing more than league average scoring to opposing ones and Payton’s minutes (for now) are trending in the right direction. I know that isn’t saying much...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/26/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. What We Know Dirk Nowitzki, Deron Williams & Wesley Matthews will sit out tonight D-Will and Wes both take up a ton of minutes at guard, so we have to look a bunch at this situation. Pierre Jackson and Seth Curry are two guys I absolutely love, and they should both be in for big minutes. They can be used in cash games and formats. At forward, we could see some extra minutes out of Dwight Powell, but he is very uncertain. We have seen him disappoint in spots just like this, so I will only consider him in tournaments. What We're Waiting to Know Julius Randle is questionable to play with an illness This news came out today, so I would put him a little more towards doubtful. If Randle does play tonight, I have no interest against the Jazz interior. If Randle is forced to miss, we should see some extra run out of Brandon Ingram and Thomas Robinson. Both of those guys have upside and could be deployed in large field tournaments. Rodney Hood is questionable to play vs the Lakers Hood has been out for about a week, so his return could cloudy up the situation. Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles have both been seeing additional minutes, and they would both see big hits if Hood plays. Against the Lakers, we will want to keep close track of this situation. If Hood does miss again, I could see the merit in Ingles for cash games. The "Every Lineup" Guys Gordon Hayward Hayward is a super solid option on a nightly basis, and this match up is phenomenal. He will see Luol Deng and Brandon Ingram for the most part, and should have success against both. Hayward may nt have the crazy upside that Westbrook or Jokic does, but he has one of the best chances of hitting value in cash games. The Jazz have a lot of options on the offense,...
