What We Know Danilo Gallinari is out vs the Bucks Gallinari sees to battle a different injur every game, and it's his groin giving him troubles this time. Wilson Chandler will get the start, and he is an interesting option for tournaments. he loves to shoot, and should have the green light with Gallo out. Barton and Gary Harirs could also see some more minutes, and both of those guys are viable. What We're Waiting to Know Demar Derozan is questionable to play vs the Raptors Derozan looks to be truly 50/50 tonight, though we do know exactly how to handle it either way. If Derozan sits, Lowry and Powell are both elite plays. If Derozan plays, everyone is a tournament option against the Magic. Julius Randle is questionable with an illness Randle has been quite annoying lately, as he has forced us to watch news up until slate, waiting to find out whether we should play Zubac or not. At this point, i think the minutes are there no matter what. Zubac has done more than enough to prove his offensive ability, and I just don't see any chance the Lakers bench him for a full game. He should be a lock for 15 minutes each game. There is just no reason for Timofey Mozgov to play and the young guy to sit. The "Every Lineup" Guys Giannis Antetokounmpo ABC has been struggling a lot lately, and think this is a fantastic spot for him to turn it around. The Nuggets are a team that has a lot of weak spots, and most fit with the game Antetokounmpo brings. The Nuggets have ranked dead last in terms of rebounds allowed to guards, and 3rd in assists. While Antetokounmpo really isn't a prototypical guard per say, he has the ball in his hands a lot and controls the offense. I would expect Wilson handler to cover him, and he will not have much of a...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Friday 2/3/17 The DFSR guys Doug Norrie and James Davis break down a full slate of Friday NBA for FanDuel and DraftKings. There’s a ton going down in the NBA with a bunch of bad defenses like the Nets, Nuggets and Blazers (to name a few) taking the court. Whenever that happens the value plays jump to the top of the list. They talk about the Pacers and how four of their five starters are cash game viable going in. The same can be said for the Mavericks against the Blazers. They also break down some of the bigger money guys like James Harden against the Bulls and Russell Westbrook who’s coming in under price against the Grizzlies. It’s all there and more for a full Friday slate of NBA DFS. Subscribe to this podcast on...

Point Guard Jeff Teague FD - $7600 DK - $7500 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 40.05 DK - 42.95 Playing the Nets. End of analysis. That’s the short version at least. The longer version involves all of the projected bumps a player gets when facing a Brooklyn team running at a fast pace and playing almost no defense. Teague is a complete bargain and will likely be in all of our cash games on both sites. He’s good for about 34-36 minutes per game and takes the second most shots on the team behind Paul George. His assist numbers are way up over the career averages with the move to Indy this season and he’s rebounding more as well. I suspect he’s the chalk play on both sites tonight because of the matchup and reasonable mid-tier salary. Mike Conley FD - $7800 DK - $7100 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 38.17 DK - 40.28 He’s rarely a popular DFS play but dude’s putting together a fantastic season thanks in large part to more focus on his role as a scorer in the offense. He’s taking about 11% more shots per minute this season and almost 50% more three pointers. That’s a significant shift in approach and he’s been deadly from behind the arc with a 41% 3PT% which ranks up there with among the best in the league. He’s also top ten in time on ball which is all to say that in a game that could stay close, Conley is an excellent option. I much prefer his DraftKings price but he’s in play on FanDuel as well. OKC’s about an average matchup for point guards but they’re playing a top ten pace in the league which should help Conley’s volume. D'Angelo Russell FD - $6100 DK - $5900 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 32.2 DK - 34.89 With back-to-back amazing performances since returning from injury it sure looks like we can count on Russell getting solid minutes with the starting unit. That’s always a little...

What We Know LaMarcus Aldridge has been ruled out vs the 76ers With Gasol already out indefinitely, there are a lot of minutes up for grabs. David Lee is a great play, and we will touch on him in a bit. Dewayne Dedmon and Kawhi could also see a few extra minutes, and Kawhi is a guy who will be very popular tonight. I am on the train and willing to play Leonard in cash as well as tournaments. Draymond Green is out vs the Clippers Dray messed up his shoulder last night, and I expect him to only miss 1 game here. This does open up a spot where we didn't have much interest before. With Pachulia already out, Looney and McAdoo should see most the minutes but are nothing more than tournament plays for me. I see Kevin Durant getting the biggest bump here, as they will now need help rebounding and moving the ball. Durant should be able to step in and handle most of Green's responsibilities. I'm a fan of Durant in all formats. Joel Embiid & Robert Covington are out vs the Spurs Both of these guys play big minutes and take a lot of shots. They also both missed last game, so we have a pretty good gauge of who will pick up minutes. Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel, Dario Saric and Ersan Ilyasova all saw generous minutes, and are in play tonight. While the match up with the Spurs isn't great, this is a 4 game slate and we have to take what we can get. Noel is my favorite, as I think he matches up with David Lee very well. Still out - What We're Waiting to Know Thabo Sefolosha is questionable vs the Rockets Thabo may not be a very fantasy relevant player, but he does matter in the grand scheme. If he misses, Tim Hardaway Jr. will get the start and be a very good play...
DFSR’s Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Thursday 2/2/17
DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Thursday 2/2/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take a look at a four game NBA slate for FanDuel and DraftKings. They go game-by-game discussing the DFS implications of each on a night with a lot of blowout risk. Every game has a -8 or higher line heading in and that definitely causes some concern with players not seeing fourth quarters if the games are getting out of hand. They talk about James Harden and how he’s likely the chalk play going in. There’s also discussion of the Wizards and how the team’s commitment to playing starters major minutes has led to price increases across the board. All that and more for your NBA DFS needs.
