So you can get your daily sweat of daily fantasy sports even when basketball season has sadly passed! On to the hoops! Point Guards Russell Westbrook - FD 12300 DK 11600 DFSTR Westbrook got shut down by San Antonio yet again, but the situation remains just as dire in OKC. With the Thunder tied with the Pelicans for the eight seed, it's impossible to imagine Westbrook not playing a ton of minutes and doing his thing. Westbrook had one great game against Sacramento and one total disaster this season, but that's neither here nor there as far as I'm concerned. Sacramento has given up 5% more points and 10% more assists than league average to opposing point guards, and their collective hearts just won't be in this one to keep Russ down. You can afford him with all the cheap guys today. I say you pay him. Zach LaVine - FD 6100 DK 5900 DFSTR I'm loving me some LaVine with these increased minutes and the best match-up in the league. The Lakers have allowed a staggering 14% more points and 11% more rebounds than league average to opposing point guards, and LaVine has averaged 18/5/4 against them this season. That'd be a fine result on these prices in and of itself, but LaVine's also handling the ball a lot more recently, and is coming off a 7x points per dollar and a 5.5x points per dollar couple of games recently. LaVine will be a huge play tonight, and rightfully so. The upside is huge. Greivis Vasquez - FD 4300 DK 4800 DFSTR Steady hands finally paid off for Vasquez in the game against Charlotte, and that's really what we're pointing out by recommending him night after night. Now, this is dependent on Lowry indeed missing Friday's game (and there's some buzz that he'll be back). The story with Vasquez remains the same as long as he priced in the low $4,000s and in the starting lineup. The opportunity doesn't match the price. It doesn't hurt that Orlando is solidly below average against point guards, too. Great spot if Lowry's out again. Shooting Guards Dion Waiters - FD 4500 DK 4700 DFSTR Waiters nearly paid this price en route to the Thunder getting blown...

Point Guards Russell Westbrook - FD 12700 DK 12700 DFSTR 9700 As long as the Thunder are in the playoff hunt and Russell is playing at a thousand miles an hour then he has to be on your radar going into any particular slate. His price is really close to the breaking point, but on a big slate where there should be a variety of value plays, getting his salary in good shouldn't be all that difficult. Rondo and company play at enough of a pace without defending the opposing point guard all that well. Tyreke Evans - FD 7900 DK 7700 DFSTR We all know about the Lakers and point guards. They play at such a frenetic pace that the opposing one handles the ball that much more in a given game. Plus Clarkson and Lin aren't exactly elite defenders. Evans is up and down and I don't know if I totally trust him for cash games, though he falls into that affordable upper tier coming in with a good matchup. Zach LaVine - FD 5700 DK 5800 DFSTR 3700 Another game of no Rubio should mean another night of heavy minutes for Lavine and the rest of the Timberwolves. He can turn the ball over in bunches, but he also is virtually guaranteed to see all his minutes considering the state of the Wolves' roster. Still a value but beware a bad shooting night and he needs every minute he can get. Greivis Vasquez - FD 4000 DK 4800 DFSTR 3800 If you are like me then you played him the other night and suffered through a miserable first half. He actually pulled it together late to just scrape under 5x on the night. Honestly, I'm willing to go right back to the well with him against the Wolves. Minnesota is brutal on defense and Greivis is getting the point guard run and he won't shoot 1-10 from the field every game. Buy low on him here and forget about last game which you need to do in DFS. Strongly consider George Hill as well as Rajon Rondo if Monta were to sit again. Shooting Guards James Harden - FD 11500 DK 11300 DFSTR 9300 I don't plan on starting out each position with the highest salary player. But this one warrants it....

Point Guards Jeff Teague - FD 6500 DK 6200 DFSTR 6700 Dennis Schroder - FD 5300 DK 4600 DFSTR 4000 I think, based on their respective prices, you can start whoever is starting for the Hawks tonight. I much prefer Schroder at his salaries, but Teague is a fine play against the Hornets as well. This is a situation you will want to monitor going into gametime. The Hawks have resting starters a ton in preparation for the postseason and don't have a ton of motivation to bring Teague back quickly. Both are coming relatively cheap. Update: Teague is out. Schroder is a top play. Shane Larkin - FD 4600 DK 4000 DFSTR 3800 Langston Galloway - FD 5900 DK 5100 DFSTR 4900 The Knicks are gross. We know this. (Though not gross enough to lose to Kentucky. That argument is asinine.) But they have to put some bodies on the floor and these two guys are getting a ton of run out of the backcourt. Neither feels particularly safe against the Bulls, but the Knicks are used to getting blown out so I don't see that as a huge deterrent to their minutes. You have to consider Russell Westbrook every time out. But the Jazz aren't terrible on defense and his price is still in the stratosphere. Shooting Guards Dion Waiters - FD 4800 DK 5000 DFSTR 3900 Don't let last game sway you too much. The Thunder were getting trounced and pulled the starters. Waiters will remain with the starting unit and should continue seeing his share of opportunity in this offense. He's been putting up a ton of shots lately, averaging about 14 attempts over the last five. Been running a little hot from the field in that time which has boosted some of his game logs. But I'm still very much buying on the minutes. No Durant. No Ibaka. Very few scorers on this Thunder squad. Jimmy Butler - FD 8400 DK 8000 DFSTR 6600 Mr. Jimmy (don't call me James) Minutes. Dude comes back from a shoulder injury and acts (at least with the run) like it never happened. Good old Thibs. Can always trust the dude to run guys into the ground. Blowout risk here for sure, but Butler does get that run. Right back a part of the...

Get involved today by clicking the banner below! Point Guards Russell Westbrook - FD 13300 DK 13200 DFSTR 9400 He is the top points/$ point guard in our system which is absolutely incredible considering his price. It is a testament to two things: his awesomeness and the Lakers' parking cone defense against opposing point guards. There is no reason to fade him today. He simply has too high an expectation at even an insane price. Work everything you can to get him in lineups. Damian Lillard - FD 8100 DK 7600 DFSTR 7900 If you decide to get away from Westbrook (or want to pair them together) Lillard should be in rare chucking form tonight. The Blazers look like they'll be without Aldridge and Batum in this one, leaving it to Lillard and a bunch of spare parts. His usage rate should be through the roof as Portland lacks any other real scoring threats. There will be some Blazer punt options we can look at later to fit some of the bigger salary. But this should be a Lillard show tonight. Jeremy Lin - FD 5500 DK 4800 DFSTR 3100 He's starting at point guard tonight against the Thunder with Clarkson moving to the two. That should set Lin's minutes up to be in the low thirties and his price tag doesn't reflect this new role. He isn't exactly a punt as his minutes have kept him in the lower middle tier. But this should be an opportunity for him to pad his stats somewhat as he and Clarkson won't be sharing time anymore. Consider Greivis Vasquez if Lowry sits again. Shooting Guards Dion Waiters - FD 4600 DK 5000 DFSTR 4000 The positive and negative things about Waiters' game are what keeps him as a daily value play in this new role with Durant out. On the one hand, his price is low and he can crush it with a good shooting game. On the flip side, it is low because he will absolutely submarine you if he doesn't get the shot going. I'm willing to go back to the well with him against the Lakers because LA is just dreadful against opposing backcourts. This will only continue with Lin supposedly starting at the two. Arron Afflalo - FD 4000 DK 4300 DFSTR 4600 C.J. McCollum - FD 3500 DK 3500 DFSTR...

Get involved today by clicking the banner below! Point Guards Mike Conley - FD 6100 DK 6100 DFSTR 6000 He'd been on the shelf for a bit with some ankle issues. But as NBA players are wont to do, he came back in the last two games and returned to his regular run. That's solid news considering the matchup today as the Knicks would lose to you, me, and three of our closest friends if we put a little hustle in it. Chance of a blowout of course, but the Knick backcourt defense is Swiss cheese. Conley should have his way back there. George Hill - FD 6400 DK 6900 DFSTR 5800 The Pacers and Nets put up an uncharacteristically efficient offensive onslaught on Saturday that led to a ton of points. Hill was crazy efficient in the game going 8-15 from the field on his way to an 18/9/4 game that more than paid the day. Hill's minutes won't ever top out, but he's at least running over thirty on a consistent basis and he's a big cog in the Pacer wheel. Price hasn't caught up to what he's been doing in the offense. Zach LaVine - FD 5000 DK 4900 DFSTR 3500 This is obviously strictly based on Rubio sitting again. The little Spaniard has been in and out of the lineup and when he's out Lavine has played major minutes. That's because the T-Wolves don't have any other solid ballhandlers. Lavine's price has come up because he's been getting more starts lately. But a dude averaging in the mid-30's or higher on a given night in the lower middle tier is a straight value that you can't pass on. Shooting Guards Tony Allen - FD 4800 DK 5000 DFSTR 4200 Allen, for all his defensive stalwart-ness has been a solid part of the Memphis offense lately. Now part of this is shooting the lights out of the place when guys on the Grizz actually allow him to take a shot. He's running super hot from the field of late which has made his game logs look damn good. Don't expect to continue seeing 60%+ shooting nights. But do expect the minutes to hold on. That's where I like the guy. The run with Courtney Lee out has been there and should stay. Coming cheap and is worth it. Evan Turner...
