We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $8300 DK - $8600 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 41.22 DK - 44.52 There are definitely a few ways to go here at point guard. If you want to pay way up, you have Russell Westbrook. Westbrook takes on the Pelicans tonight, and I like him in tournaments. In cash games, Damian Lillard is the most expensive I will be going. He gets a great match up with the Lakers here who give up the 4th most FP to point guards. Lillard has shown the upside recently, and I think he is safe for a cash game as well as a tournaments. With D'Angelo Russell out, you can expect Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson to cover Lillard for the most part. He is faster and stronger than both of those guys, and will have no problem enforcing his will. The price is a little high, but that should keep ownership down a little bit. Goran Dragic FD - $7000 DK - $7300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 39.72 DK - 42.29 This is the same drill we have been running for a while now. Who's playing the Nets? Ok, let's play that PG and C. The Nets are a horrid defense, and the pace they play at helps none. The Heat usually play at slow pace, so this uptick in possessions could cause some huge games. Dragic is one of my favorite Heat tonight, and should be a virtual lock for 40 in cash games. Spencer Dinwiddie and Sean Kilpatrick are both poor defenders, and Dragic will eat up both. He is priced fairly, sitting just above $7k. The upside is there for much more than 40 from Dragic, and he has shown that a few times already this season. You can target the Dragon is cash games and tourneys. Kemba Walker FD - $7800 DK - $7900 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 38.91 DK - 41.49 There really are a lot of ways to go at point guard, and I think Kemba is a way to go that has crazy upside and a decent amount of safety. First of all, Walker and the Hornets are MUCH better at home, and I think...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/24/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. What We Know Demar Derozan will sit out the next 2 games This isn't too great of a match up against the Spurs, but you have to consider Kyle Lowry. He will see a huge bump in minutes, and the Spurs aren't great against point guards. Norman Powell and Terrence Ross could also see some extended run, and they are great tournament options. Joel Embiid is out for 2 more games Embiid basically makes this team decent, so him being out really hurts. Okafor and Noel will both see minutes, and I see the merit in using both. The Clippers are very average against big men, so both have tournament upside. Blake Griffin will likely return tonight This definitely makes the Clippers a bit of a mess, but there may be somewhere to go. The 76ers will be without Embiid, which makes them very weak down low. Griffin will likley play limited minutes, and this will take away all interest from Mbah a Moute. Tony Parker will sit vs the Raptors Parker will likely miss the next 2 games, and this is a spot I will only touch in tournaments. Dejounte Murray has been starting, but the minutes have basically been split. I think either guy could get more minutes, and both can be used in tournaments. Kawhi Leonard should also see some more time at point. What We're Waiting to Know Emmanuel Mudiay is unlikely to play vs the Jazz Mudiay plays big minutes for the Nuggets, so we definitely have a few places to look. Jameer Nelson is one of my favorite value plays at PG, though the match up with the Jazz isn't too fun. Will Barton will play the minutes, but like Nelson, has to face the Jazz defense. The "Every Lineup" Guys John Wall Wall and the Celtics have a nice rivalry going, which should make this one very fun. I expect both superstars to show up, and neither can...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 1/24/17 The DFSR crew takes a long look at a shorter Tuesday NBA slate. Speaking of the Magic, the guys discuss Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon. And finally they breakdown some of the pricing inefficiencies between DraftKings and FanDuel. What We Know Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is likely to return KCP has been out for quite a while, and it looks like he will return here against the Kings. The Kings are bad against SG's, but I also expect KCP to be on a minutes limit. I don't think he has the upside, and doubt they push him too hard in his first game back. Stanley Johnson and Reggie Bullock will both lose minutes, and I don't have interest in either. Andre Iguodala will rest vs the Heat Iguodala is just taking a day off, and I don't think this really does much. Iggy usually plays 25 minutes, but I think they just get spread out between 2 or 3 bench guys. The starters are still great plays, but this news doesn't change much. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are both out Patty Mills and Dejounte Murray will both see a big uptick in minutes, and I have interest in both. Mills is the safer option, but you never know who Pop will throw out there. Danny Green also has his minutes solidified, but he is also bad. What We're Waiting to Know Steven Adams is questionable against the Jazz I don't expect Adams to play today, but it is definitely possible. If he does play, I have interest in him. They will need him out there to stay with Rudy Gobert, as he is the only one who has the proper size. If he misses, Enes Kanter is someone you have to consider. He should play 30 minutes, and has a ton of upside. The "Every Lineup" Guys Kawhi Leonard Leonard has been insane lately. He is the first player in Spurs history to put up 30 points in 6 straight games, which is amazing when you consider the history of that organization. He should have no problem continuing that trend tonight, and a horrible Nets team. Both of the every lineup guys will come...

We bid adieu to DFS NFL and settle into a couple month stretch where NBA is only show in town. The good news is, we happen to be having a fantastic NBA season here at DFSR! Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $8100 DK - $7900Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 41.11 DK - 43.77 Right away we're posed with another guy that has to have at least some question marks around him. With Kyrie they are two-fold: first, does the recent performance justify this price? And second, could this game get too far out of hand for him to pay this price? Let's tackle the performance bit first. He's only got two games since returning from injury where you'd be happy with his performance, so that's not exceptional. But the thing those two games had in common were that the game stayed close. So, we're hoping this one stays close (which it might not, but a -6.5 spread isn't all that worrisome). But there's more to it than just the blowout, here. New Orleans has been a phenomenal match-up for opposing point guards all season, allowing the 3rd most fantasy points per game to opposing PGs this year. Kyrie will be largely unplayable on these prices in even league average match-ups, but the plus plus match-up makes me think he'll be nearly chalk tonight. Goran Dragic FD - $7100 DK - $7200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 35.93 DK - 38.42 Now here's a guy that's been paying his price with a little more regularity. His issue, of course, is the opposite of Kyrie's. The blowout risk is more severe here and the match-up isn't quite as good, but Dragic has been handling the ball a ton for the Heat, and Golden State's 3rd fastest PACE should yield more possessions than usual. Throw in more of those possessions being in transition (where Dragic excels) and I think you have a cash game viable play with significant upside if the Heat can manage to hang. Situations to watch: There are a number...
