We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Brandon Jennings FD - $5600 DK - $5200 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.8 DK - 36.59 Derrick Rose was listed as "unlikely to play" heading into this article, so I will proceed as if he will be out out. If he does end up playing, Brandon Jennings is obviously nowhere near as good of a play. If Rose misses, he is close to a lock here. We all love targeting guards against Brooklyn, and Jennings fits the mold. He's aggressive, loves to run the floor, can shoot the 3 and pass in transition. These are all things that should come handy against a Nets team that sports the highest PACE and lowest defensive efficiency in the league. While the price has slowly risen, the mid $5k's is fair, and value shouldn't be too big of a challenge. Spencer Dinwiddie and Isaiah Whitehead will cover Jennings, and I don't think either of them have the ability to shut down anyone, let alone Jennings, who is extremely quick and agile. As long as Rose is out, Jennings is a fantastic way to go. He can be deployed in both cash games and tournaments, though the ownership will be high. Kyle Lowry FD - $8700 DK - $8600 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 44.8 DK - 48.14 Lowry led the Raptors to an OT victory last night, and had himself a nice game in the process. With Derozan out, he shot 14 3 pointers, finishing with 33 points and 10 assists. This is an even better match up against the Celtics and Isaiah Thomas. Thomas is an absolute phenom on offense, but is one of the legitimate worst defenders in the NBA. Lowry will be able to do whatever he wants on offense, and the ball will be in his hands a ton. With Normal Powell at the 2, I don't see any chance the Celtics can put Smart on Lowry. That would leave Thomas on Powell, which is an even larger mismatch. Derozan has already been ruled out for this game, so we can sit well knowing Lowry is the safest guy on the board. Jennings and Lowry are the 2 guys that are standing out to me, and I...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/31/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. What We Know Nikola Jokic will remain out This is huge news, and definitely a piece you will want to jump on. Kenneth Faried figures to see the biggest bump, and he should see at least 34 minutes. Jusuf Nurkic is also going to see some run, but is only a tournament option. Derrick Rose has been ruled out vs the Wizards D-Rose was expected to miss here, and I will be all over Brandon Jennings. Jennings is a guy who produces when on the court, and he has no problem taking a bunch of shots. Carmelo and Porzingis will also see an uptick in usage, and can be played. Julius Randle will miss vs the Nuggets Randle is a huge part of this offense, and there some big guys that are ready to take advantage. Both Ivica Zubak and Tarik Black are good plays, and can be used in both tournaments and cash games. Mozgov will likely start, but I have no interest. Cody Zeller has been ruled out Zeller plays a good amount of minutes down low, which will be taken up by Spencer Hawes and Marvin Williams. Both are good plays and have appeal in all formats. The Blzers struggle down low and give it up to big men. What We're Waiting to Know Emmanuel Mudiay & Will Barton are questionable Mudiay traveled with the intent of playing, so I would expect him to suit up. As for Barton, this is a bit of late news. If just Barton misses, I think Gary Harris gets a huge bump, and will be a great cash game play. If just Mudiay misses, Jameer Nelson is a top value option. If Both miss, Harris and Nelson are elite plays. The "Every Lineup" Guys Kenneth Faried Faried is basically just a lock here. With Nikola Jokic out, Faried is locked into 30 minutes and has the potential to play more. These Lakers are very lazy, and...
DFSR’s Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 1/31/17
DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 1/31/17 It’s a full day of DFS talk here with a solid basketball slate. The show starts with a solo-pod style NBA breakdown. DFSR’s James Davis is off speaking in front of the New Hampshire Senate on a proposed DFS bill there leaving Doug Norrie t break down the NBA action. He talks about the big money guys like James Harden in a slower matchup against the Kings and Russell Westbrook with a bad matchup against the Spurs. That leaves us possibly stomaching Anthony Davis who’s always an injury waiting to happen. Doug looks at each game, the injury news out there and some of the DFS value he’s seeing with guys like Kenneth Faried, Tarik Black and even Evan Turner on the cheaper side of things. He also talks about the Charlotte Hornets’ backcourt facing the Blazers. Subscribe to this podcast on...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $8300 DK - $7900 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 40.68 DK - 43.25 There are a few strong ways to go in the upper tier of PG, and Kemba comes in as our top option. The Hornets will travel to Portland to take on the Blazers, who don't have the stoutest of defenses. Damian Lillard has been a poor defender throughout his whole career, and this season has been no different. The Blazers give up the 6th most real life points to PG's, and the 3rd most over the last 30 days. The Blazers will be forced to put Lillard on Walker, as Batum requires just as much attention from C.J. McCollum. I expect Walker to take initiative on offense tonight, and he could have a huge game. Lillard on the other side is a good play as well, as Kemba Walker isn't a lock-down defender himself. This game has a ton of upside, as the over/under is high and the line is close. You can definitely consider a game stack in tournaments. As for a lone Kemba, he can be deployed in both cash games and tournaments. His price is fair, and the great floor and ceiling is there tonight. Jrue Holiday FD - $7800 DK - $7700 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 31.4 DK - 33.95 Jrue Holiday is sitting right below the likes of Lowry, Lillard and Walker, who will all presumably be way higher owned. Holiday offers the same upside, and a floor that isn't far off either. This match up with the Raptors is a good one, as we know Lowry can struggle against opposing scorers. The Raptors have been league average in terms of FPPG, but are in the bottom third in terms of rebounding and AST/TO ratio. Holiday derives a lot of his upside in his peripherals, as we saw against the Cavs a week or so ago. Holiday may not be as easy of a choice as these other guys, but it won't matter what name you have when the games start. With the bevy of quality options at PG, Holiday is by no means a must play, but I will say I think he is one of...

What We Know Kevin Love is out vs the Mavericks Love tweaked his back last time out vs the Thunder, and he will sit out tonight. Channing Frye will step in and he immediately becomes someone with appeal. Richard Jefferson could also gra some minutes, but I have no interest. LeBron and Kyrie will both see an uptick in usage and minutes, and both of them are great plays in cash games and tournaments. Tyler Johnson is expected to return vs the Nets Johnson has been out for a while, and his return will turn me off a couple guys. Wayne Ellington and Mcgruder both lose all appeal, and Waiters could lose a few minutes as well. Dragic is still a fantastic way to go, but could see a few less shots and minutes. Deron Williams will remain out vs the Cavs D-Will missed last game, and both Yogi and Seth Curry took advantage. Both of those guys are good plays again and we will have exposure in all formats. Wes Matthews is the guy who will go overlooked, but he just lacks the upside you need in tourneys. What We're Waiting to Know Al Horford & Avery Bradley are both officially questionable I do expect both of these guys to miss, and I sure hope they do. If both do miss, you have to like all of the starters on the Celtics. If both play, all starters lose a bit of interest. If just Bradley plays, Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown and KCP all lose appeal. Evan Fournier is a true GTD Fournier is a true 50/50 shot right now, and I hope he misses. If Fournier plays, everyone loses a few minutes and shots. If Fournier misses, Ibaka and Payton will both see a big minute upgrade. C.J. Watson could also see some extra run, but he is a very meh player overall. The "Every Lineup" Guys Zach Randolph Randolph has been playing fantastic...
