What We Know Mason Plumlee & Serge Ibaka will both make there debut tonight Plumlee could see big minutes tonight, according to Mike Malone. I think he is a very interesting option against a Timberwolves team that has bene giving up big numbers to centers and power forwards. As for Ibaka, he will face off with the Hornets. He certainly has the upside, but I'll personally be taking a wait and see approach on this offense. What We're Waiting to Know Klay Thompson is officially listed as questionable Thompson looks to be truly 50/50 here, as I haven't seen much of a read on either side. If Thompson plays, we know the drill. Everyone is in play. if Thompson is out, everyone receives a slight usage and shot boost. Ian Clark and Andre Iguodala also become great GPP options. Wilson Chandler has been upgraded to questionable This definitely hurts Will Barton and Juancho Hernangomez. Both of them are still in play either way, but make much better plays with Chandler out. Barton is my favorite of the two and I think he could have another huge night. Chandler is an interesting GPP flier if he plays. The "Every Lineup" Guys Giannis Antetokounmpo We talked about Giannis in the main picks article and he remains a great play for the same reasons. The Nets still play super fast and they still lack the ability to play defense. Giannis is a do-it-all type of player and will have his way with this team. They have played twice already this season, where Giannis had 2 very productive games. With so many other ways to pay up, he could also go a bit under-owned. Giannis is out favorite superstar on the board and is a lock for all formats. Channing Frye Channing Frye figures to see another 30 minutes tonight against a defense very similar to the one they played last night in Minnesota. Frye has been great this...

There’s also talk about how Serge Ibaka fits into this Raptors’ offense and whether the void left by him in Orlando opens up value for guys like Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier even in a bad matchup against the Spurs. There’s also Giannis and Michael Beasley taking on the defensively inefficient Brooklyn Nets, Frank Kaminsky drawing another start for the Hornets and what to make of the Denver Nuggets coming off a huge win against the Warriors. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $6800 DK - $7300 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 36.79 DK - 38.84 Rubio has been absolutely fantastic over the last week or so, even though his price has barely gone up. With 38+ in 3 of his last 4, I expected to see a big price bump here for Rubio. Instead, he is still sitting below all of the high-end and mid-range PG's. Rubio has been relied on to take control of the offense, and Tom Thibedou obviously has a lot of trust in him. He also has improved quite a bit on defense, which could be a huge reason for him seeing a lot more minutes recently. Thibs is a big defense guy and puts effort/defense way before shooting. The Nuggets are a pretty good match-up for any PG, as the have ranked in the bottom 8 in terms of FP allowed and real-life points to PG's. Rubio is a do-it-all guard, which should play into this match-up as the Nuggets give up a lot of peripherals. This game is projected to stay close and be high scoring, so it should be interesting to see how it plays out. Rubio is my favorite PG and I'm hoping he gets overlooked with all of the options up top. Rubio is in a prime spot for both cash games and tournaments. George Hill FD - $5900 DK - $5800 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 30.91 DK - 32.62 It seemed to me like Rubio was the guy with the most inaccurate price tag, but then I kept scrolling and saw George Hill. Hill should be just as expensive as Rubio, and I don't think anyone would complain if he was in the low $7k's. He is currently in the upper-$5k's, which is beyond absurd. He faces off with the Trail Blazers tonight, which means he will see the defense of Damian Lillard. Lillard is a guy who has struggled on defense since being drafted and we haven't seen much improvement. He has still been one of the worst on-ball defenders in the league, which has resulted in him giving up some big games. Hill will likely be my highest owned player, as I'm gonna find it extremely...

What We Know Kevin Love will remain out for at least 6 weeks after undergoing back surgery Channing Frye time! Frye is a guy I love to target with LeBron on the court, as he relies a lot on his rim pressure. Richard Jefferson could also pick up a few minutes, but don't have much interest outside of large-field GPP's. LeBron and Kyrie will also pick up some usage and make for great plays in all formats. Dwyane Wade, Nikola Mirotic, and Paul Zipser are all out against the Raptors All 2 of these guys have played generous minutes, but not to sure who really benefits. With Butler expected to be back, he is the main guy I will have exposure to. Outside of him, MCW, Rondo, and Valentine will all see healthy minutes. Valentine is my favorite GPP play, as he will go the least owned. Jimmy Butler is probable to play With all 3 of the other guys out, Butler is in a prime spot. He should be back to his full health and would expect him to play close to his regular minutes. MCW could lose a few minutes, but he isn't much of an efficient DFS player anyway. I am a fan of Butler in both cash games and tournaments. Terrence Ross has been traded for Serge Ibaka, though Ibaka is unlikely to make his debut tonight Ross has been playing between 15-20 minutes as of late for the Raptors, and this will open up a few numbers for today. Norman Powell could easily see 25 and DeRozan could press 40 minutes. Ibaka won't make his debut tonight, so you won't have to worry about anyone losing minutes just yet. What We're Waiting to Know Ty Lawson is questionable to play against the Lakers Lawson has left the Kings in an uncomfortable spot with his injury, as Darren Collison has been the only true point guard on the roster. If Lawson...
DFSR’s Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 2/14/17
DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Tuesday 2/14/17 It’s another DFSR solo podcast with Doug Norrie breaking down a three game NBA slate for FanDuel and DraftKings. Even with such a short Valentine’s Day slate there’s plenty to discuss. Some injury news we’ll want to check in on throughout the day starts with whether the Bulls will sit both Jimmy Butler and Dwayne Wade again. If so, then Michael Carter-Williams should see plenty of minutes though it’s less clear about the rest of the team. There’s also the Cavs without Kevin Love tonight and Doug talks about how that effects the rest of the team, specifically Lebron James, Kyrie Irving and Channing Frye. And finally, it’s a Boogie Nights (thanks FanDuel) evening with Demarcus Cousins likely coming in as the chalk play against the Lakers. All that and more on the DFSR NBA Podcast.
