Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/13/17 Happy Monday, y'all! As of this writing our Sunday night plays are doing amazing, so I'm just going to freeze this moment in time and write this article while in a good mood. Plus, noted DFSR chatter Evan Lane (the fastest man in the industry with injury news) said he liked my picks articles, so I'm going to do my best to bring a touch more fire than normal. You're entering an article filled with DFS wizardry, you have been warned. Just kidding. But I'll still do my best. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guard D'Angelo Russell FD - $6700 DK - $7700Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 38.31 DK - 41 Jordan Clarkson FD - $5200 DK - $5500Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 27.78 DK - 29.72 We start off with a semi-rare treat, getting playable point guard options against the hapless Nuggets' perimeter defense! The Nuggets have managed to allow the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season in spite of notable tanking efforts from teams from coast to coast. Their defensive indifference leaks into their stats across all relevant fantasy categories, allowing the 2nd most assisted baskets per game, the 3rd highest 3pt% per game, and generating the very fewest turnovers in the league. This is especially great for the Lakers' young, mistake-prone ball-handling duo. Russell is obviously the safer (and chalkier) option here - he's been routinely paying 5x on these prices and he's been getting a longer minutes leash recently. Clarkson is interesting in his own right, though. The ostensible back-up has put 34 shots in the air in the last two games, and remains very cheap relatively to the opportunity he seems to be getting right now. Russell is a cash game staple, but I'd potentially be interested in both for a big tourney stack. Patrick Mills FD - $4000 DK - $4400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 27.75 DK - 30.1 There's a good chance Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray miss Monday night's tilt with the Hawks, and if they do, you can expect to see my dear friend Patrick Mills in cash game lineups across the industry. He was a 66% start against the Warriors in the Battle of the Backups, and while the Hawks don't represent...

We've got you completely covered. Early game - Chicago Bulls @ Boston Celtics There is a game at 3:30 between the Bulls and Celtics that isn't included on the main slate. I kept these guys out of the article as they will be irrelevant for most. If you are playing the early slate, there are a couple of ways to go here. On the Bulls, Jimmy Butler is the only guy I have interest in. He may draw Avery Bradley defense in the 4th quarter but should do just fine in the end. On the Celtics, I have interest in Al Horford and Avery Bradley. Horford has a great match-up with Robin Lopez and is still underpriced. As for Bradley, he's ridiculously under-priced and will be a lock for any cash games I have in the early slate. Make sure he's playing as he is coming off a lengthy injury. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9000 DK - $9000 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 43.21 DK - 46.49 We have a 5 game main-slate on our hands tonight, with 5 pretty interesting games from a DFS perspective. This affair between the Blazers and Suns is certainly one of the games we will be targeting a ton as it holds a 230 over/under with just a 1 point line. Lillard is the top offensive option for the Blazers and should shoot at least 20 times. The Blazers did play last night, which is a tad bit concerning. However, Lillard has played over 30 minutes in every back-to-back set this year.  Eric Bledsoe will likely draw the match-up and have trouble covering Lillard all game long. Bledsoe is a decent individual defender, but struggles with on and off-ball screens. This Blazers lives and dies off of off-ball screens to get open, so this could be trouble. Lillard is the 2d highest price PG on FD so I could see his ownership being a little lower than expected. Lillard is one of the safer options on the slate in both cash games and tournaments. Derrick Rose FD - $6500 DK - $6300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.47 DK - 35.41 D-Rose had his first off-game in a while yesterday, finishing with just 14 fantasy points on just 11...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/10/17

What We Know Brook Lopez has been ruled out against the Mavericks Lopez is the focal point of this Nets offense, so his absence is a big deal. With Justin Hamilton being the only other center on the team, expect them to play down quite a bit. This match-up with the Mavs should allow them to do that with ease, as Dirk will be playing a lot of the 5 and he doesn't do much inside the paint. Trevor Booker is my favorite of the bunch and I could see him having an extremely solid game at a very cheap price across the industry. Justin Hamilton will also pick up a few minutes, but I have no interest outside of large-field GPP's. Nerlens Noel has been ruled out with knee soreness This is a bit of a bummer, as Noel is a guy I had a lot of interest in. With him out, Dirk Nowitzki and Harrison Barnes get the biggest bump. The Mavs will match the Nets and play small, which entails Dirk playing the 5 and Barnes the 4. Barnes is one of my favorite options on the slate and we'll get to him in a bit. I will only have exposure to Dirk in cash games as we just haven't seen enough upside at his price. DeMarre Carroll is considered questionable against the Hawks With Carroll out last game, P.J. Tucker saw 38 minutes and ut up 18 fantasy points. While Tucker isn't the most reliable fantasy producer, he is pretty safe if Carroll is out. You can project him for a safe 35 minutes and will be just fine against the Hawks. He makes sense in all formats, though I wouldn't hesitate to switch off if another value SF popped up. What We're Waiting to Know Nikola Jokic and Danilo Gallinari are questionable to play against the Celtics Both of these guys are huge pieces for the Nuggets and will make...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/10/17

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/10/17 This isn't as big a Friday slate as we're used to with only eight games on tap. For a TGIF kind of situation that's almost a mini-slate. But we'll make due with some interesting value cropping up early and injury news to we'll monitor throughout the day. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guards Isaiah Thomas FD - $9200 DK - $8700Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 46 DK - 48.59 It seems like forever since we’ve really had to consider IT3 in cash games because after a torrid stretch his price had climbed to an untenable figure and he was better left as a GPP play. But the price is coming back to Earth on the little guy and tonight he gets one of the best matchups in the NBA for opposing point guards. Denver’s allowing about 7% more scoring and 8% more assists than league average to PGs. This is thanks to being 8th in pace and dead last in defensive efficiency. This is basically the perfect matchup who’s still jacking up a ton of shots and before the Warriors’ game had scored at least 30 actual points in four of the last six games. It’s a perfect time to buy. Kemba Walker FD - $8400 DK - $8100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 41.2 DK - 43.85 Kemba’s price is up a little bit in the short term thanks to a healthy scoring output built on torrid shooting from beyond the arc. In his last five games Walker is shooting 45% from three and averaging over 21 shots per game. The Magic are below average across the board against opposing point guards this season though it should be said that if they are playing with Biyombo rather than Vucevic tonight that does increase the rim protection. But I’m still buying on Kemba who should continue seeing a healthy diet of minutes. Kemba is a score-first one who needs to get the ball in the hoop (of course) but this is a solid matchup against a weaker Magic defense. Elfrid Payton FD - $7000 DK - $7000Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 31.42 DK - 32.98 Is he Russell Westbrook-lite? A triple double machine now that he’s been unleashed in a post-Vucevic world? I think’s of course a...
