Point Guards Tyler Ulis FD - $6400 DK - $7300Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 34.1 DK - 36 With their cascading injury woes the Suns seem committed to the Tyler Ulis experiment, and while that may not work out spectacularly for their long term prospects, we still have a lot of DFS opportunity before us on this FanDuel price. He might be out of range on DK, but he's averaging more than 40 minutes a game in his last 3 contests, and has been paying 5x+ points per dollar on these prices with his eyes closed. Miami is a bottom 5 match-up for opposing point guards thanks to their slow pace and good interior defense, and the increased price makes Ulis less than the huge upside guy you might want for big tournaments. For cash games, though, he looks like about as safe a bet as you can hope to have right now. Mike Conley FD - $8200 DK - $7600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 39.35 DK - 41.73 The price has climbed into the $8,000s for Conley on FanDuel, but that's largely because he's now an $8,000+ player. With 40+ fantasy points in each of his last 4 games (and an even longer streak like that at the end of February), Conley is in play from night to night in even league average match-ups. Tonight he'll draw a world class match-up with the Pelicans, who have allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. Conley's time of possession (per SportVU data) has climbed from 6.9 minutes per game heading into February to 7.6 minutes per game in March, and the increased amount of time with the ball in his hands has paid off handsomely for his game-to-game fantasy value and consistency. Seems like a terrific cash game option tonight, particularly on DK, where his price remains very affordable. Jordan Clarkson FD - $5800 DK - $6400Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 29.37 DK - 31.61 Clarkson isn't in the best match-up here to be sure, but there's really no arguing with the opportunity recently. The Lakers seem to hate D'Angelo Russell (or want to send him some kind of message?), and Clarkson has been playing nearly 40 minutes...
Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/20/17

What We Know Paul Millsap and Kent Bazemore have been ruled out against the Hornets Bazemore has played a lot of minutes for the Hawks, though he still doesn't compare to the impact Paul Millsap has on the offense. Taurean Prince will pick up most of the Bazemore minutes and he has been playing well as of late. Ilyasova is locked in for 34 minutes without Millsap and he is a great play in all formats. Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari have been ruled out against the Rockets Chandler and Gallo will both miss at least 1 more game and we will continue to target the same players. Will Barton, Gary Harris, and Juancho Hernangomez will all benefit and make for pretty interesting plays against the Rockets. Jokic is also a great play but not for the same reason. What we're waiting to know Jahlil Okafor is questionable to play Okafor did travel with the team, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him play. The Magic are a pretty weak interior and Okafor does have some upside if he plays. Saric and Holmes will both pick up extra minutes of Okafor is out. The "Every Lineup" Guys James Harden Harden may be very expensive tonight, but he is cheaper than Westbrook. Harden played this same Nuggets team last game and finished with a huge triple-double. While we don't expect another performance that great, I do think he gets over 65 tonight. The Nuggets don't have anyone to cover Harden and will do the same thing as last game, which is throwing a bunch of different guys on him until they get 3 fouls. Harden is extremely safe and still holds upside at his price. Ersan Ilyasova Ilyasova will get a huge uptick in minutes and performance with Millsap out, who is a huge usage-hog in this offense. you can safely project Ilyasova for at least 34 minutes and 25 fantasy points. The Hornets are...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guards Stephen Curry FD - $9900 DK - $9400Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 47 DK - 51.3 There are a lot of great, expensive options on tonight’s slate. That’s what happens when you have a bunch of fast-paced, scoring heavy squads facing off against each other. This is a fantastic night just to be a fan and the OKC/ GSW game is close to appointment television. Without Durant the Warriors aren’t as explosive a team and this one should be close. I think Westbrook is a little too expensive all things considered, but Curry is still coming at somewhat of a value. He’s gotten his deep ball groove back in the last three, shooting 46% from behind the arc on his way to blowouts in the last two. This game has a 221 over/under to open and OKC’s favored by two. It’s a great game to stack and I think you see major minutes from Curry. Dennis Schroder FD - $7200 DK - $7100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 35.26 DK - 37.9 He’s not all that good a point guard in real life but he should be seen as a solid option tonight considering the Hawks are without Paul Millsap (and to a lesser extent Kent Bazemore). Schroder sees a moderate usage bump without Millsap on the floor and should be in line for a few more shots against a Charlotte team about league average defending opposing point guards. The one knock against Schroder here is with the minutes. Too often he’ll see a rather steep minutes’ reduction though some of that has been due to blowouts in the short term. He got up 14 shots in only 28 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday and I do see that as the floor for his field goal attempts. Not a total bargain, but point guard is one of the weaker value positions on the board today. George Hill FD - $6100 DK - $6000Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 29.86 DK - 31.7 There’s some chance you see lineups made up more of middle tier plays today because it should be a bit tougher to fit in the huge salaries without a ton of possible punts (though of course things always seem...

Point Guard Tyler Ulis FD - $6000 DK - $6500 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 33.06 DK - 34.99 The Suns have made the executive decision to sit Eric Bledsoe out for the season, so this is the time for Tyler Ulis. Ulis has the reigns at PG and should continuously play at least 35 minutes. Ulis was extremely productive in the first game with Bledsoe out, playing 40 minutes and finishing with 36.5 fantasy points. Ulis has proven his ability to score over 1 FP per minute on a consistent basis. This match-up with the Pistons is a great one, as Reggie Jackson is nowhere near the defender he was expected to be. Ulis is basically a lock in cash games as I think he has a floor around 30 with a ceiling over 50 FP. His price has risen to over $6k on both sites as he is now the starting PG on one of the faster paced NBA teams in the league. Ulis can be counted on in all formats. Ricky Rubio FD - $7500 DK - $7500 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 38.22 DK - 40.51 Ricky Rubio has been on quite a tear lately, finishing with 30+ fantasy points in 12 straight games. He's also been over 40 fantasy points on 5 occasions in that time frame, proving his upside. The Pelicans are a very good match-up for Rubio, as they tend to play up in pace. Jrue Holiday is a fine defender, but he struggles when the pace is increased. This game is expected to be very close and rather high-scoring, sitting with a 208 over/under. While it's not the highest on the day, it's plenty enough points for Rubio to hit value. Thibs and the T-Wolves have a very weak bench, so they are forced to play the starters huge minutes. Rubio is a terrific option in both cash games and tournaments. He has a floor around 25 fantasy points and a ceiling over 50. Jeremy Lin FD - $6000 DK - $5900 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 28 DK - 30.19 We have a pretty interesting 2...
DFSR’s Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Friday 3/17/17
DFSR's Daily Fantasy NBA Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Friday 3/17/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take a deep dive on an eight game NBA slate for FanDuel and DraftKings. The big story today is injuries to some key players. Dwayne Wade is out for the rest of the season meaning Jimmy Butler gets a major bump in expected usage and Rajon Rondo likely seeing continued huge minutes at the starting point guard. Also, Isaiah Thomas will sit for the Celtics putting Marcus Smart in as the starter. He’s likely a chalk play with the rest of the Celtics seeing moderate usage bumps against a dreadful Brooklyn team. They also spend time discussing what to make of the Pelicans tonight against the Rockets in a game that features the highest over/under of the evening. Then at the 45:20 mark Doug jumps on with Chris Durell to talk this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World 500. Subscribe to this podcast on...
