Pts - 49.6 DK Proj. Pts - 51.37 This is a very interesting short slate. There are actually a bunch of cheaper options throughout the different positions which might mean you can play up to three of the bigger money guys on this slate. There are four total so that's a great spot. Westbrook is Westbrook and really needs little introduction here. From a points/ $ standpoint, I like him better than both Lowry and Walker who while much cheaper, don't have the upside respective to price. The Cavs have been just a tick below average in allowing opposing point guards to score this season while Charlotte and Toronto have locked it down. I'm playing Westbrook here almost without a doubt. Patrick Beverley - FD 4200 DK 5000 Opponent - LAL FD Proj. Pts - 22.1 DK Proj. Pts - 24.75 He's the perfect kind of play on a slate like this one. Beverley is still coming very cheap for a dude who just seems to hit value every single night. The minutes are there from the starting point guard position and the Lakers are allowing well above average production to opposing ones. It's an across the board bump for Beverley who strikes me as incredibly safe tonight at the price. With such a short slate, punts are hard to come by. Beverley is basically that, a cheap play with safe minutes. SHOOTING GUARD James Harden - FD 10800 DK 10800 Opponent - LAL FD Proj. Pts - 50.2 DK Proj. Pts - 53.3 James and I were joking the other night that we might as well live in Houston for how much we each watch them on League Pass this season. That's what...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/16/15

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/16/15 A big old Wednesday in the NBA coming at you. One thing that's been difficult with some teams this season is projecting minutes. This has always been the uphill climb in terms of a projection system, but this season seems particularly difficult. Take the Nuggets last night. They played rotations as if everyone was getting a participation trophy and Mike Malone was forced to get everyone equal run so the parents didn't complain. It's nuts. Let's hope we can target some of the safer minutes tonight. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 47.42 DK Proj. Pts - 49.09 There are a bunch of cheap options at the other positions tonight. Point guard isn't one of them. I can see a scenario where you are spending up at this position. Russell isn't the greatest points/ $ play in the system, but I think you will end up spending here one way or the other. Of course that's tough to know this far out from lineup lock as these things change quickly. Portland's been fine enough against opposing point guards this season, but Westbrook is Westbrook and this game projects as one of the highest scoring for the night. Still think we are getting him for a fair price as his salary's come down a little since Durant came back. Ricky Rubio - FD 6800 DK 6900 Opponent - NYK FD Proj. Pts - 31.61 DK Proj. Pts - 32.57 Though Rubio isn't much of a scorer, he finds ways to do just about everything else on the court. This isn't to say he won't score (when he does it feels like a bonus) but the assists and to some degree, rebounds, are what keep his floor a little higher. The Knicks are below average against opposing point guards this season and the position as a whole doesn't have a ton of safety. I like Rubio in the mid tier especially if you are wiggling money around other places. Both Brandon Knight and John Wall rate...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/11/15

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/11/15 Big old Friday in the NBA. And if you are like me, you will be making some kind of excuse to not attend some Friday night family function that involves a Christmas-related theme and hours of boring/ nonsensical characters walking around on a stage somewhere. Here's to hoping I can dodge a major kid-related bullet tonight. Going to be a close one. But enough about my problems, let's get to the picks. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA, NFL, and NHL! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Pts - 44.74 DK Proj. Pts - 46.13 Like Beal below, Wall is just playing a million minutes a game right now. The Wiz need him to considering the state of their team. They are incredibly short-handed at the moment and need run from their primary scorers as much as possible. Wall is that guy and he's been out on the court for insane usage of late. It should keep going tonight against a Pelican team among the worst in the league at defending against opposing point guards. Though the price is up there, this game flow is right in the sweet spot and Wall should be out there for the majority. Ricky Rubio - FD 7100 DK 7000 Opponent - DEN FD Proj. Pts - 32.41 DK Proj. Pts - 33.42 Rubio needed a miracle overtime the other night against the Lakers in order to creep into the value zone (and even then it was close). Our system likes him though against the Nuggets who are right down there with the Lakers in terms of guarding against the point guard. Rubio isn't a scorer which hurts his top end upside, but he does everything else. If the minutes are there then I like his floor, but there's some concern that he never looks for his own shot. Matthew Dellavedova - FD 4400 DK 4600 Opponent - ORL FD Proj. Pts - 19.84 DK Proj. Pts - 21.58 The Cavs are in an interesting spot tonight. They are real short on backcourt players. J.R. Smith is out, leaving them Dellavedova and Mo Williams (with...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/10/15 A big ole Wednesday night in the NBA. Last night saw a spectacular win If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA, NFL, and NHL! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Pts - 47.8 DK Proj. Pts - 49.49 You already know you're going to have to pay top dollar for Russell Westbrook here, but you want to know if it'll be worth it. Though his performance appears more variable with Durant back on the court, Russell's price is coming down to reflect the pairing. What also plays into your favor starting him here is that he goes up against an Atlanta team that ranks as the third worst team in the league on DraftKings in fantasy points given up on at the point guard position with an average of 53.4 and is the eight worst on FanDuel with an average of 42.4. Westbrook still has the highest Usage Rate out of all the point guards in the league too. Jeff Teague - FD 6800 DK 6800 Opponent - OKC FD Proj. Pts - 30.16 DK Proj. Pts - 31.23 Point guard is slightly dicey tonight. What stands out the most with Jeff Teague in this spot is his price tag. Our system has him somewhere in the 30 point range. He isn't a huge minutes guy all thing considered, but Oklahoma City ranks in the bottom half in the league compared to all other teams in terms of how many fantasy points they give up on average at the point guard position (DraftKings: 50.5 & FanDuel: 41.3). Jarrett Jack - FD 6200 DK 6200 Opponent - PHI FD Proj. Pts - 29.5 DK Proj. Pts - 30.34 Jarrett Jack is another one of those solid cheap buys who allows you stretch out your money to spend generously at other positions. He's not a sure thing but against the Sixers in what should be a closer game (because both teams stink), Jack stands to perform well on the offensive end. Jack can see minutes buzzed to Larkin, but this opponent is almost too bad to avoid.   SHOOTING GUARD Kyle Korver - FD 4600 DK...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/4/15

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/4/15 A smaller Friday than usual, but that's fine by us. We don't mind even a little bit. The decisions will be a little closer, but there's plenty of value to whet your whistle. If you want access to the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Be sure to read our free NBA Ebook on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. POINT GUARD John Wall - FD 9000 DK 8300 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 41.5 DK Proj. Pts - 42.84 If you believe these recent minutes are going to be the norm then Wall's close to a must play on this slate. He is going to be in one of the higher projected points game of the night in a flow that will really benefit his style. He's gone beast mode over the last couple and the price hasn't caught up with how much run he's seen. I don't know if that kind of volume will continue, but the Wizards should be motivated to pull themselves out of the early season whole they dug in the standings. Phoenix is one of the worst teams in the league against the opposing point guard which makes sense considering their pace. Wall should have a high floor in this one. Tyreke Evans - FD 7500 DK 6800 Opponent - CLE FD Proj. Pts - 33.44 DK Proj. Pts - 34.42 He's come back from the injury and barely missed a step. The Pelicans have unleashed him out of the gate and Evans appears fully recovered. He's played about thirty minutes in each of the first two games and the minutes management is enough that he's in play coming out of the starting lineup. What I like about Tyreke is he doesn't rely on one particular stat to hit value. He's a well-rounded fantasy guy, scoring, rebounding and assisting his way to production as long as the minutes are there. Cleveland is a good defensive team, but Evans' price hasn't caught up to his role in the offense. Consider Deron Williams SHOOTING GUARD Bradley Beal - FD 7100 DK 6900 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 29.03 DK Proj. Pts - 31.37 He's back to playing big minutes because A: the Wizards desperately need his scoring desperately and B:...
