But on FD, one of the point guard slots at least is easy. Knight is a clear value play at that price. It's a little closer on DraftKings where the difference in price between him and some of the other PGs is more of a decision. But as you'll see in some of the write ups belows, there are three guys dominating all of the shots for Phoenix this season and I think you'll be able to run all three. Knight is second on the team in field goal attempts per game and is second on the team in assists. He has a tough matchup for sure, but this is a great buy in the mid tier which you typically need on a short slate. Stephen Curry - FD 10700 DK 10600 Opponent - MIN FD Proj. Pts - 43.78 DK Proj. Pts - 47.69 Here's your obligatory Steph pick. From a point of honesty, our system likes CP3 a bit more for the price, but I'm a little concerned he just isn't right with injury issues. His last two games he's looked rough and a bit off. Our system will having trouble sussing something like that out, but recognize he is the top pts/$ PG on the board. Pts - 38.83 As long as Marcus Smart is out of the starting lineup because of injury, Thomas is a fantastic play. Though he struggled last night for sure, he gets up a ton of shots in the offense, pushes the pace and is unselfish enough to hand out the requisite amount of assists in order to keep the floor a little higher. Though Indiana comes in a little on the slower end in terms of Pace, the Celts make up for it in volume as they lead the league in getting up and down the floor. Thomas is one of the few Celtics whose minutes I see as safe if Smart isn't out there. Think he makes a great cash game play in that mid tier value. Ish Smith - FD 5100 DK 4800 Opponent - ATL FD Proj. Pts - 25.2 DK Proj. Pts - 25.91 Jrue Holiday isn't playing back-to-backs right now and unless that news changes in the short term, I think you see him sit tonight after going against the Mavs last night. If that's the case (and I think it will be) look for Ish to get a full load of run from the point. Last time Holiday sat, Ish went 33 minutes and a 7/7/7 line that more than paid these price tags. While the salaries aren't as low as I'd like, I think the minutes will more than get him there if he's in the starting lineup. Keep an eye on the Jeff Teague situation. He may get suspended for an incident on Monday night....

Pts - 38.56 He was well on his way to a fantastic game the other night against the Wizards and then all of a sudden the Celtics decided to just blow the doors off of Washington. With Marcus Smart out of the lineup (and he's looking doubtful for this game) Thomas becomes option 1 and 1A for the Celtics first team on offense. He just gets up an insane amount of shots even in limited run because the Celtics play at such a crazy pace. Thomas gets up more than 15 shots (at a minimum) and can crush that usage if the minutes are there. I think they will be tonight against the Bucks and as long as he's in the starting lineup, he makes for one of the best plays on the night. Kemba Walker - FD 7200 DK 6600 Opponent - MIN FD Proj. Pts - 32.69 DK Proj. Pts - 34.33 I love buying guys like Walker when they faster teams like the T-Wolves. As evidenced last night, the Timberwolves are susceptible to opposing point guards on the scoring end. Teague had his way with Rubio and company especially in the second half. Walker could put up a similar line. He's definitely a score-first point and when the minutes are there he's a favorite to get up a lot of shots. That could be the case against Minny tonight. It's somewhat tough sledding until we see some games and get a sense of how teams are going to use players. He's a reason to watch every single Thunder game simply because no other point guard can do what he does. Toronto is playing at a fast pace this season and Russell gets that breakneck pace going the other way as well.
