Pts - 21.61 DK Proj. Pts - 24.08 Another night of NBA, another night of putting Patrick Beverley in the picks. Like we've said a million times this season (or at least in the short term) Beverley is looking at fantastic opportunity relative to his price. And with Harden's slash and kick game, he's actually getting good looks from three (something that had been missing some in the past). He's averaging about six three point attempts per game over his last three and shooting 41% from beyond the arc in that time. This should be a high-scoring game and his price is very much still a value. Mike Conley - FD 6100 DK 6000 Opponent - IND FD Proj. Pts - 29.45 DK Proj. Pts - 31.08 His price has dipped some in the short term because he's really struggled from the field. The shooting percentage has been gross over the last half month or so. If you can buy because a player might be running bad from the field, while maintaining the came opportunity, then you are in good shape. Indiana is about league average when it comes to opposing point guards scoring. If you think Conley's minutes are in the low-to-mid thirties then he's coming in at a great points/$ play. Consider Jeremy Lin if Nic Batum were to sit again. SHOOTING GUARD James Harden - FD 10700 DK 10700 Opponent - LAC FD Proj. Pts - 47.79 DK Proj. Pts - 50.34 Playing Harden is a fine move, though I have to admit I don't totally love the value as compared to his price tag. The Clippers keep opposing shooting guards well under league average scoring and have a big man down low who can at least limit or alter Harden's ability to drive to the basket. But, the issue here is shooting guard is an absolute mess. There seem to be very few legit options on this shorter slate and you could find yourself buying up some...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/18/15
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/18/15 Coming off a crazy Thursday night that saw Lebron send a woman in the first row to the hospital and Toronta call a timeout while Derozan hit a game winning shot, well let's say this Friday has a lot to live up to. (And don't worry, I'm the king of run-on sentences.) There's a lot to like about this slate with a nice range of solid values across the price spectrum. Pts - 30.9 DK Proj. Pts - 31.81 With Shane Larkin out due to a concussion, Jarrett Jack was asked to play a ton more minutes. He ran for 36 against Miami on his way to a 22/10/2 line. You could see similar minutes tonight as well against Indiana. The Pacers are actually playing at the 8th fastest pace in the league this season and have been about league average in allowing opposing points guards to score. If Jack is just going to run the point for most of the game then his price is much too low. Tyreke Evans - FD 7200 DK 7300 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 36.26 DK Proj. Pts - 37.54 He was trash the other night against Utah, but this is the perfect time to come back in and play a guy like Tyreke. The public may be a little down on the guy because he burned a bunch of people, but one bad game does not a player make. Phoenix is another super fast squad with a low defensive efficiency. They allow 4% more scoring than league average to opposing point guards and Tyreke has his minutes set. This is a good time to buy when public opinion could be a little lower. Ricky Rubio - FD 7200 DK 7200 Opponent - SAC FD Proj. Pts - 33.76 DK Proj. Pts - 34.79 Had him as a top play against the Knicks the other night and oh did he pay. He nearly quadruple-doubled with a 9/10/12/8 (steals) line that was (I...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/17/15 After a huge Wednesday night with a couple of different land mines, we get a slower night in the NBA. It's nice to catch our breath and hammer away at these shorter slates. One really good matchup here and a couple of throw in games. Pts - 49.6 DK Proj. Pts - 51.37 This is a very interesting short slate. There are actually a bunch of cheaper options throughout the different positions which might mean you can play up to three of the bigger money guys on this slate. There are four total so that's a great spot. Westbrook is Westbrook and really needs little introduction here. From a points/ $ standpoint, I like him better than both Lowry and Walker who while much cheaper, don't have the upside respective to price. The Cavs have been just a tick below average in allowing opposing point guards to score this season while Charlotte and Toronto have locked it down. I'm playing Westbrook here almost without a doubt. Patrick Beverley - FD 4200 DK 5000 Opponent - LAL FD Proj. Pts - 22.1 DK Proj. Pts - 24.75 He's the perfect kind of play on a slate like this one. Beverley is still coming very cheap for a dude who just seems to hit value every single night. The minutes are there from the starting point guard position and the Lakers are allowing well above average production to opposing ones. It's an across the board bump for Beverley who strikes me as incredibly safe tonight at the price. With such a short slate, punts are hard to come by. Beverley is basically that, a cheap play with safe minutes. SHOOTING GUARD James Harden - FD 10800 DK 10800 Opponent - LAL FD Proj. Pts - 50.2 DK Proj. Pts - 53.3 James and I were joking the other night that we might as well live in Houston for how much we each watch them on League Pass this season. That's what...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/16/15
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/16/15 A big old Wednesday in the NBA coming at you. One thing that's been difficult with some teams this season is projecting minutes. This has always been the uphill climb in terms of a projection system, but this season seems particularly difficult. Take the Nuggets last night. They played rotations as if everyone was getting a participation trophy and Mike Malone was forced to get everyone equal run so the parents didn't complain. It's nuts. Let's hope we can target some of the safer minutes tonight. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 47.42 DK Proj. Pts - 49.09 There are a bunch of cheap options at the other positions tonight. Point guard isn't one of them. I can see a scenario where you are spending up at this position. Russell isn't the greatest points/ $ play in the system, but I think you will end up spending here one way or the other. Of course that's tough to know this far out from lineup lock as these things change quickly. Portland's been fine enough against opposing point guards this season, but Westbrook is Westbrook and this game projects as one of the highest scoring for the night. Still think we are getting him for a fair price as his salary's come down a little since Durant came back. Ricky Rubio - FD 6800 DK 6900 Opponent - NYK FD Proj. Pts - 31.61 DK Proj. Pts - 32.57 Though Rubio isn't much of a scorer, he finds ways to do just about everything else on the court. This isn't to say he won't score (when he does it feels like a bonus) but the assists and to some degree, rebounds, are what keep his floor a little higher. The Knicks are below average against opposing point guards this season and the position as a whole doesn't have a ton of safety. I like Rubio in the mid tier especially if you are wiggling money around other places. Both Brandon Knight and John Wall rate...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 12/11/15
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 12/11/15 Big old Friday in the NBA. And if you are like me, you will be making some kind of excuse to not attend some Friday night family function that involves a Christmas-related theme and hours of boring/ nonsensical characters walking around on a stage somewhere. Here's to hoping I can dodge a major kid-related bullet tonight. Going to be a close one. But enough about my problems, let's get to the picks. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. Pts - 44.74 DK Proj. Pts - 46.13 Like Beal below, Wall is just playing a million minutes a game right now. The Wiz need him to considering the state of their team. They are incredibly short-handed at the moment and need run from their primary scorers as much as possible. Wall is that guy and he's been out on the court for insane usage of late. It should keep going tonight against a Pelican team among the worst in the league at defending against opposing point guards. Though the price is up there, this game flow is right in the sweet spot and Wall should be out there for the majority. Ricky Rubio - FD 7100 DK 7000 Opponent - DEN FD Proj. Pts - 32.41 DK Proj. Pts - 33.42 Rubio needed a miracle overtime the other night against the Lakers in order to creep into the value zone (and even then it was close). Our system likes him though against the Nuggets who are right down there with the Lakers in terms of guarding against the point guard. Rubio isn't a scorer which hurts his top end upside, but he does everything else. If the minutes are there then I like his floor, but there's some concern that he never looks for his own shot. Matthew Dellavedova - FD 4400 DK 4600 Opponent - ORL FD Proj. Pts - 19.84 DK Proj. Pts - 21.58 The Cavs are in an interesting spot tonight. They are real short on backcourt players. J.R. Smith is out, leaving them Dellavedova and Mo Williams (with...
