Daily Fantasy NBA Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 11/5/15 The NBA is back! And honestly, I feel like if never really left us. The Finals seem like yesterday, the off season saw a ton of moves and we are ready to jump back into another season. We'll be bringing you daily picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and more. It's going to be a great season. If you want access to the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, just sign up for a 3-day trial to our database, lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. First three days on us and then just $15/ month after that which also includes our NFL and NHL Beta projections. What a deal. First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebook on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Our projection system handles the little bits of pricing and projecting differences. That being said, for this opening slate I think you are very much going to be taking a stars and punts approach. CLICK HERE FOR A FREE 3 DAY FREE TRIAL POINT GUARD Russell Westbrook - FD 10800 DK 10400 Opponent - CHI FD Proj. Pts - 48.73 DK Proj. Pts - 50.48 It's going to get old writing him up every single night, but I simply don't think the price is all the way there yet. If he's going to get in the mid 30's of minutes (which he pretty much will in anything but a blowout) then you can just almost book him for in the mid 40's of FanDuel points. That kind of floor is just insane from anyone and especially a point guard. Unless most other guards at this price, Russell can survive a bad shooting night because he literally does everything else. Kemba Walker - FD 7200 DK 6600 Opponent - DAL FD Proj. Pts - 31.95 DK Proj. Pts - 33.58 Walker's never been a particularly good shooter, though dude at times tries to make up for it with some volume. He'll find the hot hand from time to time and we want to buy him when the opposing one will have trouble matching up with him on the outside. Deron Williams is just the kind of guy I'm talking about. Kemba's minutes should be there and his assist numbers, along with the rebounds are enough to play him in cash games. I especially like the DraftKings price. Mike Conley - FD 6600 DK 6600 Opponent - POR FD Proj. Pts - 29.85 DK Proj. Pts - 31.64 Our system really likes him, I just am...

Tons of players have switched uniforms. Teams have slightly changed their approach. Rookies are in the mix. New starting lineups abound. It's somewhat tough sledding until we see some games and get a sense of how teams are going to use players. That being said, we've gone over the data and made a number of adjustments to our system in order to get things as close as humanly (and algorithmic-ally) possible. Our projection system handles the little bits of pricing and projecting differences. That being said, for this opening slate I think you are very much going to be taking a stars and punts approach. CLICK HERE FOR A FREE 3 DAY FREE TRIAL POINT GUARD Russell Westbrook - FD 10800 DK 10500 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 48.58 DK Proj. Pts - 50.32 Really anytime Russell is below 11K on either site (and even then depending on the pricing situation up and down the rest of the lineup) you can consider him in your lineups. Really no other player (except for maybe Anthony Davis, though not last night) can fill it up faster than Westbrook. He's a reason to watch every single Thunder game simply because no other point guard can do what he does. Toronto is playing at a fast pace this season and Russell gets that breakneck pace going the other way as well. This should be a high-scoring game and he probably has the highest floor of anyone of the slate. Kyle Lowry - FD 7800 DK 7900 Opponent - OKC FD Proj. Pts - 36.12 DK Proj. Pts - 38.35 Lowry was a popular play last night and I suspect it's...

Pts - 38.03 I like when teams are locked into their minutes' structure and that's a theme you'll see in and among the picks tonight (most nights). The Raptors are one of those teams. They have a big three of Lowry, Derozan and Carroll who they are happy to trot out there in big minutes. That kind of safety pays dividends in cash games where you need to just project high floors across the board. Lowry will be one of those guys for me tonight taking on the Mavs who will guard him with either Deron Williams or Ray Felton. So in other words, yes please. Emmanuel Mudiay - FD 5400 DK 5900 Opponent - LAL FD Proj. Pts - 26.44 DK Proj. Pts - 27.59 With rookies it's always tough to know how the season will go as they enter the limelight. Luckily for...

CLICK HERE FOR A FREE 3 DAY FREE TRIAL POINT GUARD Russell Westbrook - FD 11200 DK 10300 Opponent - DEN FD Proj. Pts - 47.6 DK Proj. Pts - 49.19 I'm putting him on here because of all the top end expensive players on this slate, I see Westbrook as the safest of the bunch. There are a lot ways to middle your way through lineups on this slate, so you may not end up getting his salary in there, but if I was going to go all the way up, he'd be my guy. The worry would be that coming off the crazy double overtime marathon his minutes run a little lower tonight as he basically played 1.5 games against the Magic. But if anyone can withstand this kind of beating it's Westbrook who at times appears super human. If the Thunder choose to limit Durant a little here Westbrook starts to look even better though and we could see shades of what he did end of year last season. Michael...

CLICK HERE FOR A FREE 3 DAY FREE TRIAL POINT GUARD Russell Westbrook - FD 10800 DK 10100 Opponent - ORL FD Proj. Pts - 48.68 DK Proj. Pts - 50.36 While one game does not a season make, it was interesting to see how Durant and Westbrook coexisted in the first game. Remember that last season Westbrook went into the phone booth and came out Superman for the second half of the season when Durant went down. But with Durant back, Westbrook still led the squad in shots. Part of that stemmed from Kawhi's defensive glove-ness on KD. But it stands to reason that this is Westbrook's squad now. I like the price though one thing that buoyed Westbrook's line last season was his crazy rebounding numbers out of the point guard position. Damian Lillard - FD 9100 DK 9300 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 39.3 DK Proj. Pts - 42.56 The Blazers are now Lillard's (and to some degree McCollum's) team. In the first game of the season those...
