The last two Lakers’ games went into overtime which threw off his minutes just a bit, but he’s playing around 37 in regulation and has taken 37 combined shots over the last two games. He’s averaging 21 points, 12 assists, and 14 rebounds in that stretch with the big (big) negative being the 15 total turnovers in that stretch. I still think the floor is high enough for Westbrook at these prices and gets a good matchup against the Timberwolves here. They rank in the bottom third defensively with a top-10 pace. It’s a good spot for Westbrook even with the turnovers. Ricky Rubio FD - $5900 DK - $5700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 33.09 DK - 36.13 Rubio didn’t get the start for the Cavaliers' last game, which was a bit of a surprise considering Collin Sexton was on the shelf. They went with Okoro at the two and moved Garland into full-time point guard duties. That being said, Rubio still managed 28 minutes off the bench and put up 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists. I think we see a slight bump in minutes here for this game against Detroit considering the Cavs have just been better with him on the court. Keep an eye out too if they decide to switch the starting lineup up as well. Shooting Guard Darius Garland FD - $6300 DK - $6700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 37.78 DK - 41.81 With Collin Sexton out last game, Garland took over more of the point guard duties in the starting lineup and Ricky Rubio ended up coming off the bench. Garland took a team-high 16 shots for the Cavaliers and ended up scoring 19 points despite going just 3-10 from beyond the arc. The Course Memorial Park Golf Course Par 70 - 7, 432 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** This week the PGA Tour returns to the US of A for the Houston Open and for the second season in a row, will be held at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Last season marked the first time the course had been used on Tour since the 60's and it was Carlos Ortiz hoisting the trophy with a winning score of -13. This year's field is led by Brooks Koepka who is coming off a missed cut in Mexico and hasn't tallied a Top 10 since the OPEN Championship back in July. I wouldn't count him out, however, as he tallied a Top 5 here last year and was a consultant to Tom Doak in the renovation of the course before last year's event. We only have a one-year sample size to try and build a stats model off of but one thing was clear, there were different ways to get it done. For instance, winner Carlos Ortiz was 43rd off the tee and 16th on approach but was Top 5 in both around the green and putting. Sam Burns finished T7 af89ter leading the field in ball striking but finishing 59th around the green and 89th putting. Brooks himself finished T5 and while he struggled with the irons(83rd), was 6th off the tee and 2nd putting. My top stat this week will be Strokes Gained: Approach but will be looking at it in multiple different ways. I do want a player who is trending with their irons overall but with three of the five par 3's in the 200+ yard range and five of the par 4's coming in at 490 or more yards, I will...

Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $8500 DK - $9200Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 43.48 DK - 47.98 Lillard’s price on both sites, but especially on FanDuel, is still set a bit low thanks to his early-season shooting woes. He was able to turn that around some last game, going 6-14 from beyond the arc in a win over the Lakers. It was a welcome sign considering this guy has been on the struggle bus so far. He was coming off a game in which he scored only four points, and on the season is shooting just 35% from the field and 25% from three. Both of those are, by far, career lows. But I do think it is mostly a blip, something that will regress back to his career numbers sooner than later. Such is the nature of the NBA especially with superstars like Lillard. Let’s keep buying low. Reggie Jackson FD - $6100 DK - $6300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 31.23 DK - 35.21 On only a three-game slate, some of the decisions are going to get a little tougher especially if there aren’t many ways to save on salary. Jackson provides a middle-tier option with a high enough floor to warrant a cash game play for sure. He’s playing major minutes for the Clippers, running 36 or more in each of his last four games (all LAC wins). In that stretch, he’s averaging 21 points and five assists. The 40% shooting from three isn’t totally out of bounds and I like the matchup here against Portland. Shooting Guard Seth Curry FD - $5200 DK - $5900Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 28.69 DK - 31.9 Furkan Korkmaz FD - $5400 DK - $4900Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 25.68 DK - 28.49 The Sixers have been a bit all over the place of late with Tobias Harris out, Joel Embiid resting on the front end of the back-to-back, and other role players dealing with issues. This with Lebron already out could be a huge uptick in fantasy value for Westbrook. As of now, the Lakers are just two-point favorites in the highest total of the night and get an elite matchup against the Hornets who are dead last in defensive efficiency and run the 6th fastest pace. This is a recipe for a monster game from a guy who can chuck up triple-doubles at will when he is the focal point of the offense. He is in play in all formats, especially on FanDuel where he is outside the Top 10 in pricing overall. Chris Paul FD - $8300 DK - $8700 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 45.22 DK - 47.7 In the next tier of pricing, we have a player in Chris Paul who I actually like more from a PTS/$ perspective. Like Westbrook, he gets an elite matchup against the only other team in the NBA that ranks Top 10 in pace(10th) and bottom 10 in defensive efficiency(23rd). What really sway me towards paul, however, is the consistency as he is averaging 42 fantasy points on the season and doesn't need scoring to do it dishing out over 12 assists per game. This game is expected to stay close(PHO -2.5) and has the second-highest total on the slate. Lock and load in all formats. Also Consider: Tyrese Maxey(PHI) for value as he has been playing heavy minutes(34.7 per game & 40+ in two straight) for the 76ers with no Ben Simmons  Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards FD - $7900 DK - $8000 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 43.82 DK - 47.34 Last year's first overall pick is coming into his own in Minnesota and leading the team in usage(30.3%) and has taken 19 or more shots from the field in every game. Let's start with the game which has the highest total(220.5) and the closest spread(UTA -1). It starts at the point with Conley who has been terrific in the short term shooting 57% from the field on 30 shots over his last two games while going 10 of 16 from three. I don't see that insane production lasting forever but the price isn't increasing a ton and he should easily get double-digit attempts again in a plus matchup vs. Atlanta who is 22nd in defensive efficiency. Conley is in play in all formats, especially on FanDuel in the low $5K range. Cade Cunningham FD - $4600 DK - $4000 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 28.01 DK - 31.5 Despite two underwhelming games to start his career, our system absolutely loves the first overall pick at these prices. The good news is that he is very unlikely to continue to shoot 14% from the field going forward and more good news as he did put up 14 shots in his last game while playing 29 minutes. The 76ers are short-handed so this game should stay relatively close so while the projection may be a little lofty and more geared towards his upside, I do like buying low on a player who could easily be in the $5K-$6K range very soon. Also Consider: Kyle Lowry(MIA) on FanDuel who is still sub $6K and coming off two very productive games(38 and 40.5 FD points) Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $7600 DK - $8400 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 38.7 DK - 41.71 There are a ton of unknowns going into this slate so I am not going to worry about blowouts at this point of the day as the 1-6 Thunder go on the road to take on the 5-3 Lakers.
