Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $6600 DK - $7800Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 36.89 DK - 40.96 Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are both out of this game for the Heat meaning we are going to get some more high usage out to the remaining guys, specifically the guards. Lowry took 18 shots on Friday in the win over the Pacers on the road and finished with 26 points and nine assists. This might be a slightly tougher matchup on paper against the Bucks though they do take a step back defensively without Giannis in the lineup. Lowry has a 21% usage rate this season with Butler and Bam off the court, which is up from the 18% rate he has over the course of the season. The DraftKings price is a bit too steep, but the FanDuel salary is way too low. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $4400 DK - $3400Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 28.2 DK - 27.6 The Blazers are without Damian Lillard and now they’ve lost Anfernee Simons to injury as well. The backcourt is a bit of a mess at the point guard position and it looks like Dennis Smith will get the start here on Saturday. He hasn’t played a ton this season, but when he has the per minutes fantasy scoring is solid, something that’s been the case for him throughout his career. Per 30 minutes this season Smith is averaging nine points, seven assists, and more than three rebounds which is more than enough production considering his current price points. And because Portland is so shorthanded right now there could be a lot of minutes for him in this matchup against the Celtics. Shooting Guard C.J. McCollum FD - $8200 DK - $9000Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 43.45 DK - 47.04 McCollum is the clear beneficiary of not having Lillard, and now Simons on the court. Without Lillard specifically, CJ has a 31% usage rate on the season, easily the highest number on the season. McCollum is already averaging almost 19 shots per game on the season and two games ago took 26 when the game stayed close against the Pistons....

Point Guard Cole Anthony FD - $8300 DK - $8200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 45.38 DK - 49.2 Anthony came back from a somewhat extended absence and immediately played full minutes for the Magic. With Jalen Suggs out of the lineup, Orlando is a bit light on guard play and Anthony didn’t look like there was any rust at all. He immediately dropped 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in a win over the Nuggets at home. Statistically, Anthony is having a breakout season, averaging a 20/7/6 line so far. And now he gets the Rockets, one of the best DFS matchups around. This is such a good spot and Anthony makes for a high-floor cash play. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7800 DK - $8500Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 40.96 DK - 44.28 The Heat are without Bam Adebayo and could be without Jimmy Butler as well. If that’s the case they are a defensively compromised team for sure. Meanwhile, the Pacers are going to be without TJ McConnell for the foreseeable future, leaving their backup guard minutes in a bit of doubt. Brad Wannamaker will pick some of those up. We’ve seen Indiana have no issue with running Brogdon major minutes when need be, and that could be the case here on Friday against Miami. His three-point shooting is a bit down this season sitting at 32% but expect to see at least some regression on that number as time goes on considering he’s sitting at 38% for his career. Shooting Guard Darius Garland FD - $6600 DK - $7200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 37.59 DK - 42.32 Garland is another one having a breakout season with the Cavaliers getting the playmaking and shooting they wanted when they drafted him. It’s come with Collin Sexton out for the season, giving Garland much more on-ball time in the offense. He’s making the most of it, scoring 19 points and dishing out more than seven assists per game so far. The minutes are among the highest you’ll see on a night-to-night basis and the price hasn’t fully come up to represent what he’s been doing in this offense. Dennis Schroder...

Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $9800 DK - $9800 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 49.25 DK - 51.72 Who remembers the good old days when Murray was in the mid $7K to low $8K range? The huge price jump is completely justified, however, as Murry has been phenomenal lately averaging 19.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.9 assists over his last 10 games good for an average of 48 DK/47 FD points per game. That is right around what we are looking for tonight which is very attainable considering this game has the highest total(221.5) on the slate and Portland ranks 27th in defensive efficiency. Fire up Murray in all formats as a top guard on this slate. Alec Burks FD - $7000 DK - $6500 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 34.21 DK - 36.35 The sites are catching up in price after Burks' role took a huge shift being named the starting point guard for Knicks. He has thrived in his new role playing 39 minutes in both starts and putting up a team-high 38 shots(17 from behind the arc) while exceeding 40 fantasy points in each game. The matchup is nothing to write home about as the Bulls rank 7th in defensive efficiency but Burks is likely a mid $7K player in his new role so this is still a buy low for me and he is in play in all formats. Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $7900 DK - $8100 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 39.39 DK - 42.26 With Giddey out last night, SGA took over shooting 46% on 26 shots en route to 39 real-life points and 49 fantasy points. This is a back-to-back but I am not worried for multiple reasons starting with Giddey most likely missing a second game and then add in the elite matchup as Memphis ranks dead last in defensive efficiency and 9th in pace. SGA is in for another heavy usage night and I will have exposure in all formats. Desmond Bane FD - $5400 DK - $6400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 32.04 DK - 34.83 Much like the Thunder, the Grizzlies...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 12/1/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 12/1/21 It's December 1 somehow, but time flies when you're having fun! That's just what we're doing here, with DFS being a great escape from everyday life. Sometimes we get too concerned about the money we put on the line, but that sort of attitude can kill you in this racket. Enjoying DFS is just as important as anything, and I hope you guys have enjoyed the work we've done throughout the year. Our projection system has been killing it recently, and we believe it's spot on here. With that in mind, let's get into this Wednesday card. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Cole Anthony FD - $7800 DK - $7900 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 34.42 DK - 36.09 It's looking like Anthony will make his return to action here, and let's not forget about how good this guy is. Anthony has at least 34 DraftKings points in 13 of 14 games before getting injured, taking over this Orlando offense. We expect that to rise even more here, with Jalen Suggs missing due to a broken hand. That means Anthony should be back in the driver's seat, averaging 21 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in that impressive stretch. That equates to a 40-point average, and it makes it hard to believe he remains below $8K. A matchup with Denver isn't easy, but it really doesn't matter at this salary. Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $6800 DK - $7400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 36.99 DK - 38.56 KPJ has been all over the map in terms of consistency, but it looks like he's feeling it with Jalen Green sidelined. The top rookie was taking a lot of touches from guys like Porter and Wood, but both of those players have been amazing since Green got injured. In fact, KPJ has at least 49 DraftKings points in the last two games without him, regaining the role that made him an $8K player last season. One of those came against this weak Oklahoma City team, with Porter collecting his first career triple-double in that game. The simple fact is, Porter is running this offense right now and is playing at a $9K...

Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8400 DK - $8700Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 43.38 DK - 46.17 Not only is VanVleet an excellent player, but he has a lot of safety on a night-to-night basis in terms of DFS because he just is on the court so much. He leads the league in minutes per game this season, averaging 38 each time out. And when games are close, that number can tick up to about 40. On the season, he’s averaging 20 points and 6.5 assists per game, shooting almost 40% from three and taking more than 16 shots per. Memphis is coming in with the league’s worst defensive efficiency this season at a 112.3 rating. This is such a good matchup and VanVleet has a high floor. Tyus Jones FD - $4600 DK - $5200Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 28.8 DK - 31.36 In their first game without the injured Ja Morant, the Grizzlies had no trouble at all against the Kings. Memphis blew out Sacramento 128-101 in an easy win. None of the starters were taxed on their minutes so we didn’t get a true sense of the rotations without Morant. But Tyus Jones was solid in the start, finishing with six points, eight assists, and three rebounds. The numbers won’t play you away, but that was in only 24 minutes. It stands to reason he plays at least 30 in this new role meaning the production should tick up with the volume. Shooting Guard Desmond Bane FD - $5400 DK - $6000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 30.32 DK - 33.38 Fair warning, there are a lot of Memphis Grizzlies guys you can play on this slate. That’s what happens when a team loses their best player and the prices don’t come up to match the new opportunity. Bane is having a breakout season in his second year, getting the chance to start and making the most of the opportunity. He’s shot 42% from three through his first two seasons and has shown he can score consistently at the NBA level. His price, like some of his teammates, is just too low for the usage and...
