Walker played 37 minutes against the Celtics, his first game in nearly a month and promptly dropped 29 points on 8-20 shooting while adding in six rebounds and three assists. Early accounts are that he’ll get the starting nod again in this one with Derrick Rose questionable and Immanuel Quickley out. The price didn’t move enough for the potential minutes and Walker is a good play against the Pistons. Damian Lillard FD - $8600 DK - $9800Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 43.33 DK - 47.9 After struggling to start the season, and also dealing with injuries, Dame has started to turn it around over the last couple of games with CJ McCollum on the shelf. He’s scored 32 and 43 points respectively on 21-38 shooting from the field. Today he’ll play against the Pelicans and their 28th-ranked defense, marking another great matchup for Lillard after he faced the Grizzlies and the Hornets back-to-back (both wins). With the Blazers really needing to pull back into this thing in the West, I think we are going to get a steady diet of major Dame minutes in the short term. And some of the early season struggles could be behind him. Shooting Guard D'Angelo Russell FD - $7900 DK - $7700Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 40.93 DK - 45.31 The Timberwolves are still going to be without Anthony Edwards and Patrick Beverley in this game, leaving more ball-handling duties and usage to head Russell’s way. He led the team in shots last game, a similar situation, going 8-16 from the field though he handed out only three assists in the Timberwolves win over this same Mavericks’ team. Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 39.29 DK - 40.85 The Bulls are playing on a back-to-back here but it comes after a week break thanks to health and safety protocols. They looked good in their return to the court yesterday beating the Lakers and Ball was a big part of that win dropping 19 points. For fantasy, the price is going up but he has been consistent averaging 15 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.6 assists while adding some defensive upside with 1.5 blocks and steals. Put it all together and he is averaging over 35 fantasy points per game in that stretch which is a solid floor for tonight and in a matchup vs. the Rockets who rank 24th in defensive efficiency and 1st in pace, there is also a ton of upside here. Reggie Jackson FD - $6100 DK - $7600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 33.49 DK - 37.35 The price is on the rise here, especially on DraftKings where he has hit a season-high but I am not too concerned on this smaller slate. He comes in hot dropping 15 or more points in eight straight games and has averaged over 30 fantasy points per game over his last 10. He and the Clippers now get a plus matchup on Monday as the Spurs come to town ranked 19th in defensive efficiency and also run the 6th fastest pace. While still in play, Jackson isn't a must on DraftKings but on FanDuel, at a price in the low $6K range, he is in play in all formats. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $9700 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 46.5 DK - 49.93 Like Jackson, this is another huge price differential as Mithcell's price has taken a huge jump on DraftKings to almost $10K making him GPP only, at best. This play is much more about FanDuel tonight as the price remains in the mid $8K range. This game does have blowout potential but making me feel better about is the fact Utah has been involved in five blowout wins(20+ points)...

We have a couple of teams that are fully punting their games and sitting superstars. Other teams have players in protocols (or both) and will be working with different lineups. Point Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $9300 DK - $8200Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 47.41 DK - 50.37 The Bucks are still going to be without Giannis Antetokounmpo in this game which should, once again, provide a big opportunity to Holiday. The Bucks lost in overtime on Friday without Giannis of Chris Middleton and it remains to be seen if they decide to limit Jrue here because he ran 44 minutes in all. Fantasy-wise, he was everything you wanted, dropping 40 points while adding five rebounds and assists each. The price moved some on both sites, but not enough especially on DraftKings. If he’s starting tonight, even if Middleton is back then I think you have a pretty easy play here. Donovan Mitchell FD - $8300 DK - $9300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.01 DK - 47.73 It looks like Utah is going to be without Mike Conley in this game and, in the past, that has meant a usage uptick for Donovan Mitchell. With Conley off the court this season, Mitchell has a 35% usage rate and the assist rate ticks up about 6% as well. I think we are going to have plenty of ways to save on this slate and there aren’t a ton of top-end payoffs on either site. With that in mind, we are likely locked into just playing some higher floor guys and rounding out the salary on the lower end. That’s the case with Mitchell here who is in a good spot. The next two positions are shorter because I'm going to address a ton of guys all at once that qualify at SG and SF with the Nets and Warriors.  Shooting Guard Franz Wagner FD - $6000 DK - $6700Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 35.74 DK - 37.81 Wagner played a lot on Friday evening because...

Miami has had to run Lowry a lot of minutes in the short term with the team thin in the backcourt. That could be the case again and this time he faces off against an Orlando team that ranks second-to-last in defensive efficiency while playing the sixth-fastest pace. That’s a perfect intersection of speed and incompetence that we are looking to target in DFS. Lowry has double-digit shot attempts in each of the last four games and has 10+ assists in two of them. This is such a good spot and his FanDuel price hasn’t moved enough. Meanwhile, Gabe Vincent has stuck in the starting lineup with Butler out and Herro still coming off the bench when healthy. He’s played 30+ minutes in each of the last three games and even put up 26 points on 8-16 shooting last time out. Those shot attempts were on the high side, but they came in a close win over the Sixers on Wednesday, which is a good sign. The price has ticked up some but I think we are still in good shape considering the matchup. And he’s shown he can add some assists and rebounds as well. This is lining up for him to be a cash game value. Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8200 DK - $7900Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 44.94 DK - 48 The Bucks are without some key players in this game against the Pelicans, most importantly Giannis Antetokounmpo who is in the protocols right now. Jrue should see plenty of minutes in this game and is coming off a 26 point, 14 assist performance against the Pacers the other night. That one was without Middleton as well, who should be back tonight. But no Giannis and Bobby Portis means plenty of usage to go around against a New Orleans team ranked...

Mills is coming off arguably his best game of the season where he attempted a season-high in minutes(43), shots(20), and points(30). The opportunity for a similar performance is definitely in the cards tonight as James Harden and Bruce Brown are once again out of the lineup. The matchup is also pretty decent as the 76ers have fallen to 19th overall in defensive efficiency as they have given up 100+ points in five of their last six games. Fire up Mills in all formats. Derrick Rose FD - $6200 DK - $6300 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 34.95 DK - 36.58 One of the issues and major decisions we will have to make tonight is at the guard position as half of them are out and the other half seem to be in bad matchups, potential blowouts, or reaching peak pricing on a small slate. Rose only checks one of those boxes as his price has reached a season-high but the good news is that he gets a tremendous matchup as the Rockets are 24th in defensive efficiency and lead the league in pace. Rose has been up and down and is by no means safe at these prices but is coming in hot in the short term with 30+ fantasy points in back-to-back games and has double-digit shot attempts in six straight. He is a multi-category contributor and if this game stays close like I think it will, he should be able to churn out another 30+ point performance putting him in play in all formats. Shooting Guard Armoni Brooks FD - $4500 DK - $5400 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 30.87 DK - 33.51 Eric Gordon FD - $5700 DK - $5600 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 22.32 DK - 25.1 I would imagine most people aren't thrilled with Brooks right...
