DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 1/2/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 1/2/22 Yesterday was one of the best days of basketball all year! We had the Chicago and Detroit buzzer-beaters happen with minutes of one another, and that all happened before Golden State and Utah did battle. Nights like that help you remember how great the NBA can be at times because there have been a lot of dark moments recently due to the COVID breakout. In any case, it has me rejuvenated and ready to break down this Sunday card! Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $7800 DK - $7400 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.88 DK - 43.55 Stacking against the Hornets is one of the most profitable propositions in NBA DFS right now. Playing at the second-fastest pace is one thing, but ranking 28th in defensive efficiency and dead-last in points allowed makes them the best matchup in the NBA. All of that puts many of these Phoenix players in play, with CP3 looking like one of the best values. We say that because he's below $8K on both sites and has performed well above that price tag. In fact, Paul is providing a 39-point average for the season, scoring at least 34 DK points in all but nine games this season. That floor feels guaranteed in this sort of matchup, but 40-50 DK points seem like the most likely outcome. Jalen Brunson FD - $7500 DK - $7700 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 39.11 DK - 40.04 We're slightly hesitant to ride Brunson here if Luka Doncic returns, but it really shouldn't matter with Kristaps Porzingis being rested for this game. KP is really the only one taking usage away from Doncic and Brunson, with JB running a lot of the offense over the last three weeks. Jalen has scored at least 34 DraftKings points in each of his previous seven games, generating a 40-point average in that stretch. That's hard to overlook from a player in this price range, and it feels like JB will start next to Doncic with Porzingis sitting here. Oklahoma City is far from scary, too, owning one of the worst rosters in the NBA. LeBron James is stealing the spotlight...

Point Guard Facundo Campazzo FD - $5500 DK - $4200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 29.49 DK - 30.04 With Monte Morris out in the Covid protocols, Campazzo picked up the start on Thursday. He didn’t have a ton to show for it with five points and seven assists in his 32 minutes. But even with so much of the offense running through Jokic, I think this is the very low end of expected production at these kinds of minutes. Campazzo’s per 30-minute averages on the points side are a bit higher and I think he has a high enough floor to consider in cash. That’s, in part, because the matchup against the Rockets is such a good one. The DraftKings price is particularly attractive. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $8700 DK - $10300Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 44.15 DK - 48.23 With Spencer Dinwiddie still out in the Covid protocols, the entire offense will, once again, run through Bradley Beal in this game. Over the last two games, Beal has averaged 24 shots in 35 minutes, putting up huge numbers with 29 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds last time out. He could be in line for similar production here at home against the Bulls. The DraftKings price has corrected for Beal’s usage as the primary creator, but FanDuel didn’t come up enough. I think he will be a very popular play on that site especially. Will Barton FD - $5800 DK - $6200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 36.02 DK - 38.72 With Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon out of the lineup, Barton is asked to shoulder more of the offensive load for Denver. He’s taken 15 and 18 shots respectively over the last two games, dropping 21 against the Warriors on Tuesday. And this matchup against the Rockets is much better considering Houston ranks second to last in defensive efficiency this season while running the third-fastest pace. That makes for basically the exact recipe you want to target in DFS. Barton sitting in the middle salary tier on both sites means he fits into lineups easily and is in too good a spot to fade on this slate....
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 12/31/21 – All Day
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Friday 12/31/21 - Main Slate Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $11500Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 50.77 DK - 55.88 Both of these squads are playing with relative shells of their original teams with the Hawks and the Cavaliers hit hard by protocols. The Cleveland backcourt has been decimated in the short-term and Trae could really pour it on here. In his first two games back, Trae has taken 23 shots in each and averaged 28 points and 10 assists. Those were both losses, but we could see that turn around against a Cleveland team with problems of its own. The DraftKings price is through the roof, but the FanDuel salary seems like a pretty easy play considering the situation. Derrick White FD - $8000 DK - $6800Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 37.98 DK - 39.16 It’s been a mixed bag for Derrick White since Dejounte Murray went out into the Covid protocols. It sure seemed like he’d be up for a major uptick in production considering just how much Murray did on the court of the Spurs. And, per minute, it’s mostly been the case even if the minutes were a little wonky in the last two. He played just 16 in a drubbing of the Pistons though somehow put up seven points and 10 assists in that limited time. And he was decent against Utah, going for 21 points and eight assists in a much tougher matchup. I like the prospects for a big game from White here against Memphis and think the DraftKings price is very attractive. He took 16 shots last time around and we could see a similar number tonight. Consider Kyle Guy (FD 3500 DK 3800) who just signed with the Heat and could move right into the starting lineup. Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $6700 DK - $7200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 41.34 DK - 46.17 Caleb Martin FD - $5800 DK - $4300Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 36.7 DK - 36.47 The Heat had their last game postponed because they were too short on players, but this one looks set to go off against the Houston Rockets. Miami is...

Point Guard James Harden FD - $11100 DK - $11100 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 52.8 DK - 58.55 Tonight's slate is a bit of a mess with injuries, covid-related question marks, and players returning to lineups where teammates' prices have been inflated. The Nets will get Durant back after a three-game covid absence which puts us in a spot where we will have to choose between him and Harden and for me, that is a fairly easy one. With conditioning seeming to play a role in players returning, I will be riding with Harden who has been on another level scoring 75+ DK points in back-to-back games without Durant and has averaged 56.6 DK points per game over his last 10(seven games with Durant). The price is also actually a bit lower than before Durant had gone the C-19 list so fire up the beard in all formats. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6300 DK - $7100 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 36.95 DK - 40.94 Like almost every team, the Wizards were hit with covid and that includes their best player in Bradley Beal who is once again questionable to return. If he is out once again, fire up Spencer Dinwiddie who has been very good in his absence seeing a 4% increase in usage and all the minutes he can handle. He has dropped 17 or more points in each of the last three with no Beal while averaging right around 45 fantasy points per game. He now gets a short-handed Cavs team in what is expected to be the closest game on the slate. Stay tuned for starting lineups later in the day but it appears Dinwiddie will be a great PTS/$ play in all formats. **Update** Dinwiddie is out Shooting Guard Will Barton FD - $5500 DK - $5700 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 32.36 DK - 35.59 The Nuggets have been short-handed at guard all season(Murray/Porter) and go into tonight with Monte Morris questionable after missing Tuesday with a knee injury. This brings us to Will Barton who has not only seen a boost in usage lately but better yet, has a...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 12/29/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 12/29/21 If you're a fan of chaos, NBA DFS is the perfect vocation for you. It was already crazy before this little term called "COVID protocols," but it's turned into absolute madness since then. If you played a drinking game where that term was mentioned, you'd probably be wasted by the third paragraph of this article! In any case, it does leave a ton of value on the table, and we're here to try to break it down for you guys! With that in mind, let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Jalen Brunson FD - $7400 DK - $7900 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 42.16 DK - 43.27 Man, this price is getting somewhat crazy, but Brunson has earned every bit of it. He's been a great player coming off the bench behind Luka Doncic, but he's been playing at an All-Star level when starting for Luka. In fact, Brunson has scored at least 29 DraftKings points in all 14 starts he's made, averaging 38 fantasy points per game in that span. That's what you expect from an $8K player, and it's clear that he's just taking on the monster Doncic usage being left behind. The matchup against Sacramento might be the best part of this, though, with the Kings ranked 29th in defensive efficiency and points allowed. Payton Pritchard FD - $6200 DK - $5000 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 28.83 DK - 31.01 Pritchard has been stuck near the end of the bench for most of his career, but he's always been solid when given the opportunity. The COVID crisis is the perfect time for him to get one of those chances, starting on Monday in the absence of Jayson Tatum and Dennis Schroder. In the last two games without those guys, PP averaged 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists en route to 40 DK points per game. You can't ask for any more from a player in this price range, and he should continue to get a monster workload with so many Boston players sidelined. We also don't mind that the Clippers own a 25th OPRK against opposing PGs. Ja Morant is sitting around $9K...
