Point Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6900 DK - $6800Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 38.88 DK - 42.89 The Wizards are still a game or two from getting Bradley Beal back in the mix, so I think we can continue playing Dinwiddie here in cash even with the price on the climb. He’s facing off against a Portland team that is ranked dead last on defense this season while also running a slightly above-average pace. It’s just a great matchup and Dinwiddie has been seeing an uptick in usage with Beal on the shelf. The former has taken 14 and 15 shots over the last two games respectively with double-digit assists in one of them. This is still a spot to run him out there and I think he will see heavier ownership even while pushing $7K on both sites. Darius Garland FD - $8100 DK - $7900Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 39.31 DK - 43.44 The Cavaliers are having no luck with their point guards this season with Collin Sexton and Ricky Rubio lost for the season and now recent addition Rajon Rondo banged up. But with the latter out on Friday, it was Garland’s game to fully take over. He got up 25 shots in his 37 minutes against the Spurs, scoring 32 points and adding eight assists. If Rondo is out again and we can project max minutes for Darius here then I think he’s a cash game play again, this time against a very weak Thunder team. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10300 DK - $11200Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 50.17 DK - 54.99 The Nets have been totally fine running Harden major minutes this season and that should be the case once again on Saturday. He’s double-doubled with points and assists in two of the last three games And he’s put up 25+ points in every game during that stretch. The Pelicans are among the worst defensive teams in the league this season, ranking 25th overall. Harden is getting a little pricey on DraftKings, but with enough savings elsewhere I think we can run him on FanDuel as one of the spend-up options. Will...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 1/14/22

Point Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $8000 DK - $8900Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 40.99 DK - 44.42 We are definitely going to be able to get some plays out of this game between 24th and 25th-ranked defensive teams in the NBA who play at above-average paces this season. That’s the sweet spot when it comes to fantasy and is a matchup we are going to want to target. The good news on LaMelo is that he’s been playing more minutes of late, something we’ve been waiting on much of the year. The fantasy performances have been shaky, but the Hornets’ results (all wins) are encouraging that it keeps up. He’s taken 16 or more shots in each of the last three, though it struggling some from beyond the arc. No matter though because this is such a good matchup against the Magic and Ball won’t break the bank for you. Cole Anthony FD - $7600 DK - $7800Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 39.41 DK - 43.56 Jalen Suggs is back for this one which could cut into Anthony’s usage just a bit. But it’s unlikely to turn the second-year point guard to dust or anything like that. Anthony has been one of the true fantasy surprises this season, becoming someone who can contribute across the box score. His rebounding has really picked up, averaging six boards a game to go with his 20 points. It’s such an encouraging sign and he pulls a great matchup on Friday against a Hornets team that flies up and down the court. I think he’s coming too cheap on both sites. Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $6000 DK - $7600Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 33.46 DK - 37.39 Cade is still coming way, way to cheap on FanDuel where he’s likely to be a popular play once again. The rookie has had some up-and-down performances of late, with the play inconsistent enough to have the price stagnate some in this tier. But overall, he’s been good enough during his first season to warrant going back to the well as a higher floor play on this slate. He gets up double-digit shots easy...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 1/13

Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9700 DK - $9200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 45.21 DK - 48.2 While it is highly unlikely he would overtake the superstars to win the MVP this season, Morant is most definitely making a case for himself with plays like this! For fantasy, what I like the most here is that he is playing those guys ahead of him in the MVP odds but isn't priced as such still under $10K on both sites. He comes into tonight averaging 29.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 49.6 DK/41.4 FD points per game over his last eight. The T-Wolves are ranked 11th in defensive efficiency this season but run the 6th fastest pace which should lead to a ton of possessions on both sides allowing Mornant to get a full run and the opportunity to hit and exceed his projection. Lock and load in all formats. Patrick Beverley FD - $6700 DK - $5300 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 31.16 DK - 32.35 Staying in the same game, we have Patrick Beverley who returned from a two-game absence on Tuesday, and despite being limited to just 21 minutes was able to hit nearly 5x value on DraftKings. I fully expect him to return to a full run tonight which easily puts him in to play on DraftKings in a game with the highest total on the slate. Even with the last game where he was limited, Beverley comes in averaging over 31 DK points per game over his last 10 with a balanced fantasy attack contributing in almost all categories. This is going to be a high-paced, high-scoring game and Beverley is one of our top PTS/$ values on DraftKings. Fire him up in all formats. Strongly Consider: Dennis Smith Jr.(POR) who is likely to get the start with Lillard, McCollum, and Simons all out for Portland Shooting Guard Ben McLemore FD - $4100 DK - $4200 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 24.15 DK - 27.8 To say the Trail Blazers are short-handed at the guard position would be an understatement. All three of McCollum, Lillard, and now Simons are declared...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 1/12/22

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/12/21 After a short slate on Tuesday, we're back to a full nine-game card here. There are some fascinating matchups out there, and some great value plays for DFS. I picked the players for this article quicker than usual, which is probably a good sign. Some of them are obvious, but others are fantastic values that are flying under the radar. With that in mind, let's kick things off with the point guards! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $7200 DK - $7600 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 37.77 DK - 39.48 Lowry is not getting the credit he deserves! This guy has come from Toronto late in his career and is playing just as well in a Miami uniform. Lowry is averaging 35 DraftKings points per game for the season, providing 30-plus nearly every single night. The reason we love him here is the situation in Miami, with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Gabe Vincent all expected to miss this game. That means Kyle should run the show, which is apparent when you see his 37-point average in the games that Bam and Butler have missed this season. He's rolling right now, too, scoring at least 38 DK points in seven of his last 10 games. That should be easy to duplicate here, with the Hawks ranked 25th in points allowed and 27th in defensive efficiency. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $7100 DK - $6000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 35.73 DK - 37.51 The Beal splits for Dinwiddie are downright nuts. Dinwiddie plays at a $10K level when Beal is out of the lineup. In fact, The former CU standout has at least 29 DraftKings points in all six games that Beal has missed, averaging 49.2 DK points per game. Where it's obvious is in his usage, leading the club with a 32 percent usage rate in these situations. All of that means that Dinwiddie is about $2,000 too cheap on both sites, and we haven't even discussed this matchup. The Magic rank 25th in defensive efficiency and 24th in points allowed. That's on full display when you see Spencer's 38-point average in his two matchups with Orlando....

Point Guard Monte Morris FD - $4900 DK - $4700Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 25.65 DK - 28.12 The Nuggets are going to be without Will Barton in this game, which could open up a bit of usage for some of the other ancillary pieces in the Denver lineup. Playing point guard for this team doesn’t come with the same responsibilities as with others considering so much of the offense runs through Nikola Jokic, but Morris should see minutes at least in the low-30s. And double-digit shots should be in the cards as well. That wasn’t the case last time around in a slog against the OKC Thunder, but in general, that’s the expectation for Morris. The price won’t break the bank and he offers a nice way to save at a weaker position on this slate. Patrick Beverley FD - $6800 DK - $5300Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 32.5 DK - 34.1 Patrick Beverley should be back in the starting lineup for the Timberwolves on Tuesday and makes for a solid DraftKings play at the low-$5K price tag. I think it’s a bridge a bit too far on FanDuel where he is pushing $7K on this slate. But Beverley does offer a solid fantasy floor considering he scores his points across the box score. On the season, he’s averaging nine points, 5.2 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and almost two defensive stats per 26.7 minutes. None of those jump off the page, but they do add up and as a starter, he’s mostly been playing more than 30 minutes per game. Shooting Guard Zach LaVine FD - $7500 DK - $9400Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 41.37 DK - 45.55 The Bulls have one of the best matchups on the slate, facing off against the Pistons on Tuesday. Detroit plays a bottom-third defensive efficiency and runs a top-10 pace, which for this group of games represents one of the better opportunities. Lavine has seen the price come down recently, especially on FanDuel where he’s sitting now in the mid-$7K range. Some of that has to do with the short-term results that have seen him really only scoring and not putting up any...
