Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10900 DK - $10400 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 49.75 DK - 54.87 We have a much smaller three-game slate on Thursday and with the return of Klay Thompson in Golden State, which limits the usage for Curry, the top payup is an easy decision for me tonight. I know it's a smaller slate but love seeing the price on Doncic trending down, especially on DraftKings where it's at a season-low. The matchup isn't great as the Suns rank 2nd in defensive efficiency but I am not worried as Luka has been scorching hot coming off his best performance of the season(72.5 DK/67.3 FD) and is nearly averaging a triple-double(23.9 pts, 10.7 rebs, 9.3 ast) and 55.5 DK/46.5 FD points per game in the month of January. I will have exposure to Luka in all formats. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $6600 DK - $7400 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 34.46 DK - 37.69 Brogdon returned from injury last night and while he was limited to 26 minutes, he put up a solid line with 19 points, four rebounds, and six assists for 34 fantasy points. I am speculating a bit here but would expect him, even on a back-to-back, to get closer to his full run tonight and that is great news as he is coming at a fantastic price point on both sites. Like Luka, he also draws a tough matchup as the Warriors are the top defensive team but we have a very small slate and limited options so I am taking a shot with the excellent PTS/$ value in all formats. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $9000 DK - $8300 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 40.57 DK - 44.73 This feels a bit like chasing as he is coming off a monster 48-point performance but it's hard to ignore the price, especially on DraftKings, this smaller slate. What I like here is that it hasn't been just one game for Booker as he has now dropped 30+ points in three straight and isn't just shooting reliant averaging 4.4 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game on the season....
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 1/19/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/19/21 If you were annoyed by that two-game Tuesday card like we were, you're in for a treat here! We have 13 games in total and 26 teams taking the floor. That means we get to see almost every team in action, and it's going to give us a massive player pool to dig through. We feel like we have a good read on many of the plays out there, though, so let's go ahead and get into it! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $8000 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 42.61 DK - 42.98 Fox got off to a terrible start this season, but he's been cooking recently. The speedy guard has at least 39 DraftKings points in six of his last nine games. The three outliers all had big reasons for the stinkers, too, with Fox getting ejected in one of them and the Portland game being a massive blowout. We don't expect either of those to be an issue here because this is a fantastic matchup. The Pistons rank 23rd in points allowed and defensive efficiency while surrendering the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. That means we expect Fox to reach that 39-point total at ease, which is all you need from an $8K player. Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $6000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 33.34 DK - 34.23 Conley might be the best play on the board. This guy was an $8K player in his days with the Grizzlies, and he could be looking at a similar role here. We say that because Donovan Mitchell (concussion) is out, leaving Conley as the showman for the offense. He's actually scored at least 29 DK points in every game that Mitchell has missed since the beginning of last season. That's big news for a guy with a 30-point average this year, giving him a 50-point upside in this spot. The matchup with Houston is the icing on the cake, though, with the Rockets ranked first in pace and dead-last in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. Cade Cunningham is just $6,000 on FanDuel and faces a subpar Sacramento defense. Shooting...

The Courses PGA West TPC Stadium Course Par 72 - 7,113 Yards PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course Par 72 - 7,159 Yards La Quinta Country Club Par 72 - 7,060 Yards Previous Five Winners 2021 - Si Woo Kim(-23) 2020 - Andrew Landry(-26) 2019 - Adam Long(-26) 2018 - Jon Rahm(-22) 2017 - Hudson Swafford(-20) After a couple Hawaii events to kick off 2022, the PGA Tour now heads back to the mainland for the California swing. It starts this week with the American Express which is back to a three-course rotation this year. That means each player in the field will play one round on each of PGA West Stadium Course, PGA West Nicklaus Course, and La Quinta Country Club Thursday through Saturday. Those who make the cut(Top 65 & ties) will then play the final round on the PGA West Stadium Course. All three courses are Par 72's under 7,200 yards and all have ranked outside the Top 30 in difficulty in each of the last five years. The course I will concentrate on for my stats model this week will be the Stadium Course which will be used twice including the final round. It is a Pete Dye design so ball-striking is once again at a premium with emphasis on hitting fairways off the tee and hitting the below-average-sized greens. In general, I don't really narrow my player pool down based on the order they play the three courses for the full-tourney contests but one narrative that gets thrown around is playing the Stadium Course in Round 3 as to play it on back-to-back days. Do with that what you will. As for the weather forecast, we will have to monitor leading up to lock but as of now, Saturday looks to be very window all day while the other three days appear calm...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $6000 DK - $7500Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 35.07 DK - 39.07 After a day full of hoops on Monday, Tuesday quiets down significantly with only two games on the slate. It’s going to make for some odd decisions especially considering the second game between the Pistons and Warriors has some big-time blowout risk. We really won’t be able to fade that so I think running Cade here under the circumstances is fine. He’s had some up and down performances of late, struggling to keep the scoring consistent, but he has a high enough floor all things considered. On the season, he’s averaging close to 16 points per game along with more than five rebounds and assists each. The scoring can also spike when he’s locked in, but the inconsistency is what keeps the price in check. He’s an easy FanDuel play at only $6K. Stephen Curry FD - $10600 DK - $10600Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 47.6 DK - 52.05 Speaking of trying to fade the blowout, that is going to be an issue on the other side of the ball as well. Steph could easily see his minutes cut late in this game is the Warriors -15 opening line holds true to form. After coming out of the gates running hotter than the Sun, Curry has cooled off some of late, shooting under 30% from three over his last seven games. The Warriors have stumbled some in this stretch as well, losing three of their last five. But they should be able to right things here against a weak Pistons’ team. Patrick Beverley FD - $6400 DK - $5500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 29.89 DK - 31.34 While he isn’t the central point of the offense by any means, Beverley has found a way to get it done from a fantasy perspective this season. That’s because he contributes just enough across the stat line to keep the floor in check with his price. Per 30 minutes he’s averaging more than 10 points, five rebounds and five assists per game while also adding some on the defensive end as well. The...

Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $10200 DK - $10000 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 49.29 DK - 52.08 The Spurs as a whole have been a disaster this season but Murray has broken out in a big way in his fifth season in the league. Almost every single stat has taken a huge jump overall and he has been especially great lately where he has averaged 24.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 9.4 assists good for 55 DK/53.8 FD points per game over his last seven since returning to the lineup. He draws a tough matchup against the Suns tonight but on a five-game slate, this matchup has the 2nd highest total(225) and is expected to stay close(PHO -5). With the projected volume Murrya should continue to get, I am on board in all formats. Anfernee Simons FD - $7600 DK - $8000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 40.31 DK - 44.99 This is an interesting one this early in the day as the price has jumped even with CJ McCollum likely returning to action. I am not totally concerned with the latter as McCollum is likely limited in his return being out for nearly two months and the price jump is sort of warranted as Simons has been terrific in the starting lineup. He has averaged 28.8 points and 8.2 assists which are good for 47.8 DK/44.31 FD points per game in those six starts. Against an Orlando team that ranks 24th in defensive efficiency in a game expected to stay close, I will have a ton of exposure to Simons in all formats. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8200 DK - $9000 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 43.45 DK - 46.76 Capping off this full day of basketball on Monday is the game with the highest total(232.5) and full of fantasy targets. For me, it starts with Mitchell who has been a very consistent fantasy producer all season and even better in the short term. At his prices, we are looking for a floor of about 40 FD/45 DK points and Mitchell has provided that in eight of his last 10 games...
