Point Guard Tre Mann FD - $4900 DK - $4100Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 30.34 DK - 32.49 Sure, the Thunder stink. But that doesn’t mean we can’t load up on some of their guys in DFS and that’s exactly what we’re going to do here on Saturday. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out of the lineup, it’s opened up considerable opportunity down the line and there are players getting a ton more minutes with a high usage rate. One of those dudes is Tre Mann who’s effectively playing shooting guard for this team with Josh Giddey running point. Mann took a team-high 17 shots on Friday in the win over the Pacers though he struggled to make any, knocking down only four and scoring just nine points. That being said, the minutes and opportunity are here for him and the price is right, especially on DraftKings. I’m going back to the well considering how good the matchup is against the Kings. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $7600 DK - $8400Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 42.62 DK - 44.72 De'Aaron Fox has been questionable for something like infinity straight games now so I think, at this point, we just need to operate like he’s out until expressly told otherwise. Fox being out of the mix obviously gives Haliburton most of the opportunity running the offense though the results have been a bit mixed over the short term. He hasn’t found his shot as much recently, a weird trend considering the usage rates he’s had in the past with Fox off the court. But it’s “helped” to stagnate the price some as well. I still think the opportunity should be there if he’s running the points and he does have a 38-point game not too far back in the game log. If Fox is out I’m running Haliburton again with the hope that the shot volume picks up some. Shooting Guard Josh Giddey FD - $6500 DK - $7600Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 39.42 DK - 43.42 Giddey is likely to be a popular play once again, especially on FanDuel where the price is way, way too low. With SGA out he’s running the...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11400 DK - $11900Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 55.69 DK - 61.61 I don’t like the matchup against Philly at all, but it’s hard to fade Luka at this point with the kind of numbers he’s putting up. He’s coming off a 40 point, 10 assist game that saw him run 43 minutes in all in the overtime loss to the Thunder. And he’s now scored 30 or more points in each of the last three games. With Kristaps Porzingis banged up, Luka’s usage does tick up a bit and we are seeing some of the results. Again, the 76ers aren’t a good DFS matchup at all, running a slow pace and playing above-average defense, but I still like Luka as a clear pay-up on this Friday slate. Brandon Goodwin FD - $4500 DK - $4100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 34.67 It looks like Brandon Goodwin will get the start once again for the Cavaliers with Darius Garland still on the shelf. Goodwin played 32 minutes last time around in this role, though Cleveland did end up losing to the Rockets on the road. He had a balanced line with seven points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. That was more than enough to play as a value on these price points. This matchup against Charlotte isn’t quite as choice as the Rockets, but they still run a very fast pace, second quickest in the league. That should provide Goodwin enough volume as long as the minutes stay in line with last game. Shooting Guard Josh Giddey FD - $6000 DK - $7700Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 38.22 DK - 42.08 With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the shelf, much more of the offensive load falls on Josh Giddey’s shoulders, and that’s a good thing for us when trying to round out DFS lineups. I think the DraftKings’ price is a little steep here, but the FanDuel salary looks just right. Over the last two games with SGA out, Giddey is averaging 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, and seven assists in all. A key to his DFS production and safety is how balanced he looks...

Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $10000 DK - $9700 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 45.89 DK - 48.42 Chris Paul has been one of the best closers and all-around point guards in the game this season which has the Suns sitting as the top team in the league and the reason Paul's price has reached the $10K mark. I am not at all concerned as he has been very productive lately averaging 20.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 13 assists over his last eight games, and now gets a plus matchup against the Hawks(27th in defensive efficiency) in a projected close, high-scoring game. Fire up Paul in all formats. Ayo Dosunmu FD - $5500 DK - $5600 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 23.95 DK - 26.03 After peaking in the mid $6K range at the end of January, Ayo's price is back in a more comfortable range which makes him a much more attractive fantasy option. He has stepped into a starting role with the barrage of injuries to the Bulls starters and has been consistent averaging 12.7 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.7 rebounds while hitting cash value in eight of those 10 games(31.9 DK/31.4 FD points per game). The matchup doesn't jump off the page as the Raptors are mid-pack in defense and run the 28th fastest pace but opportunity is there and this game is expected to stay close throughout. At these prices, I will have exposure in all formats. Shooting Guard Gary Trent Jr. FD - $7100 DK - $6100 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 29.8 DK - 31.1 Yes, I am a bit of a Raptors homer up here in Canada but no matter where you are from it is hard to ignore what Trent is doing right now. It starts with the insane volume as he has now taken 20+ shots from the field(10+ from behind the arc) in five straight games while averaging 44.6 DK/42.7 FD points per game. That is production we normally get from players in the $8K-$9K range and while both teams are ranked mid-pack in terms of defense this is a slight pace-up matchup for the Raptors,...

Point Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6300 DK - $5900Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 34.25 DK - 37.83 It’s really been a struggle this season for Dinwiddie who hasn’t exactly gotten into sync with Bradley Beal when both are on the court at the same time. There are even rumors that he could be moved at the trade deadline. But it’s worth noting that when Beal is off the court, Dinwiddie has been perfectly fine on a fantasy level. When Beal missed a three-game stretch earlier in the month, Dinwiddie was excellent, averaging 21 points, seven assists, and a steal in that run. And the Wizards won two out of the three games as well. I think even though there is blowout risk against a good Bucks’ team, the prices on Dinwiddie haven’t adjusted to Beal being out here. Stephen Curry FD - $9300 DK - $10200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 48.03 DK - 52.74 Curry is coming off a monster game on Monday against the Rockets which the Warriors ended up winning going away. He played 38 minutes and dropped 40 points on a whopping 13-23 shooting while also going 7-14 from beyond the arc. Steph chipped in nine assists as well. Now, he’s on the back-to-back which has me a little concerned about how much Steve Kerr actually decides to run him. But he gets a good matchup against the Spurs and Klay Thompson is sitting this one out as well. The rough shooting over the course of January Steph’s price down some on FanDuel so I think we can buy here without all that much hesitation. Shooting Guard Zach LaVine FD - $8000 DK - $8800Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 40.54 DK - 44.63 Lavine is coming just a little too cheap on FanDuel, though I’d be a bit hesitant to outright play him on DraftKings pushing $9K. He’s maintained a higher floor since coming back from injury with the Bulls still struggling to stay healthy in their original rotations. In closer games, he’s going to run about 36-37 minutes and over the last four games is averaging 24 points, six rebounds, and five rebounds. We’ll take...

The Courses Previous Five Winners 2021 - Daniel Berger(-18) 2020 - Nick Taylor(-19) 2019 - Phil Mickelson(-19) 2018 - Ted Potter Jr.(-17) 2017 - Jordan Spieth(-19) The PGA Tour remains in California this week for the annual trip to the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links. With the return of the Pro-Am this year, the event will also get back to its regular three-course rotation as all players will play one round on Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula each of the first three days. The cut(Top 65 & ties) will be made following Saturday's round with the final round being played on Pebble Beach on Sunday. The Pro-Am definitely deters some of the top golfers and that trend continues this week as we have just one player in Patrick Cantlay(#4) ranked Top 10 in the World and he is joined by just 10 of the Top 50 when looking at the Official World Golf Rankings. All three courses are Par 72's on the short end of the meter with Spyglass the longest at just 7,035 yards. While weather can affect how things play out, we generally see Monterey play as the easiest of the three followed by Spyglass and then Pebble Beach. With Pebble being played twice and with it being the only course with shot tracker, this is the course I will focus on when putting together my stats model. That model will be looking heavily at Strokes Gained: Approach with emphasis on Proximity from the short and mid ranges(depending on player). With the smallest greens on Tour at Pebble Beach, I will also be mixing Strokes Gained: Around the Green and putting on Poa greens. With all that said, let's get into the picks. Patrick Cantlay World Golf Ranking (#4) Vegas Odds (8/1) Draftkings ($11,200) FanDuel ($12,300) I was a bit surprised the...
