Guards Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $6500 DK - $6400 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 34.38 DK - 38.92 This is a game that is most definitely going to get multiple mentions in this article with its monster total(234.5) featuring two teams that rank 25th and 30th in defensive efficiency overall this season. At the guard position, the system loves KPJ here and it starts with the volume as he is averaging just over 14 shots a game in the month of March. He also provides a nice balance of secondary stats averaging 4.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.6 blocks+steals in that time which is good for an average of 33.8 DK/32.2 FD points per game. All things considered, KPJ is a top guard and overall core play for me on this slate. C.J. McCollum FD - $8400 DK - $9200 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.99 DK - 46.58 Another game that jumps off the page from a fantasy standpoint is the Pels and Hornets with the second-highest total(233.5) on the slate. I lean the Pelicans side facing as the Hornets not only rank 18th in defensive efficiency since the All-Star break(23rd overall), they run the 3rd-fastest pace. They could also be without Brandon Ingram(C-19) and Devonte Graham(hip) but either way McCollum is at the top of my list. He has been tremendous since coming over in a trade averaging over 20 shots a game and delivered by averaging 45.7 DK/43.9 FD points per game. The price is rising but in this spot he is still a part of my core in all formats. Terry Rozier FD - $7700 DK - $8200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 36.54 DK - 39.29 LaMelo Ball FD - $8700 DK - $8800 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 43.71 DK - 47.52 While it is never that tough on these big slates to go stars and scrubs, I certainly like a more balanced attack with how things are lining up and it comes down to a couple of games projected to be high-scoring, fast-paced, and full of fantasy gold. I mentioned this game above and while I slightly...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 3/20/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/20/22 This has been NCAA's weekend to thrive, but the NBA continues to chug along. We're NBA people over at DFSR, and it's quite simply the better product despite what some people think. We were treated with 12 games on Friday, and we're looking at nine games for this Sunday card. There are a ton of good matchups and plenty to discuss, so let's get started with a couple of cheap point guards! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Point Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $5200 DK - $6100 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 33.19 DK - 34.77 It's risky to use or recommend Clarkson on most occurrences, but we always like him when one of these guards are out. Mike Conley has already been ruled out for a rest spot, and JC actually had the best game of his career the last time Conley sat out. In fact, Clarkson collected 55 DraftKings points, despite providing any peripheral statistics just last week. The simple fact is, his minutes, shots, and ball-handling are all up with Conley out of the lineup. We didn't even mention that Bojan Bogdanovic is out as well, leaving more shots on Clarkson's plate. The matchup with New York isn't too shabby either, with the Knicks sitting 18th in total defense this season. Tyus Jones FD - $4200 DK - $4000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 33.12 Ja Morant is having a magical season, but he's already been ruled out for this game because of a knee issue. Tyus has been tremendous in this role throughout the last two years. In his 15 starts this season, Jones averages 29 DraftKings points per game in over 30 minutes a night. He was actually even better last year, and it's clear that he's the go-to PG when Morant needs some games off. The matchup with Houston might be the best part of this, though, with the Rockets ranked second in pace and dead-last in defensive efficiency and points allowed. They're also surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing PGs, making Tyus the best value play on the board. Jordan Poole leads the Warriors in usage rate with Stephen Curry off the...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $8800 DK - $9600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 58.76 DK - 64.08 We are going to want to stack some of these Mavericks on this slate of games facing off against Charlotte who runs the third-fastest pace and plays a defense ranked in the bottom third of the league. That’s a great spot and Luka makes for a pretty easy spend-up. The Mavericks are coming on the second half of the back-to-back here after losing to the Sixers on Friday, and Doncic definitely struggled. He went 5-20 from the field in the loss. But the Hornets provide a soft landing here considering the potential pace of the game and no clear defensive stopper on their team. Luka is likely to be a chalkier play on the three-gamer. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6100 DK - $6700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 34.32 DK - 37.67 Jalen Brunson FD - $5200 DK - $6300Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 31.92 DK - 34.61 Stacking Mavericks? You bet. I think running the three-guards from this team is totally reasonable considering the way they’ve been playing and the matchup. For starters, Dinwiddie is getting up about 14 shots per game in the short term, and since the trade deadline has averaged right around 19 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Plus, the production has gotten a bit more consistent since he joined the starting lineup on a permanent basis. On a bigger slate, there is almost no way I would consider this, but the shorter ones make for more interesting decisions. And then there’s Brunson whose production has been similar all things considered. He and Dinwiddie are the second and third scoring options on this team by a pretty wide margin over the rest of the group, working to lighten some of the offensive load off of Luka. It’s mostly worked. Are they a bit expensive for their production? Sure, but I think stacking the three against Charlotte provides a nice floor in cash games. Russell Westbrook FD - $6900 DK - $8700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 36.23 DK - 40.46 He’s so cheap on FanDuel that you...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Mike Conley FD - $6400 DK - $5700Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 32.07 DK - 34.62 Jordan Clarkson FD - $5000 DK - $5800Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 31.78 DK - 35.07 With Donovan Mitchell out on Friday, it sure looks like a bulk of the offense is going to flow these guys’ way. It makes sense considering the construction of the roster currently and what we’ve seen out of these situations in the past. While Clarkson might not get the start if the Jazz decide they will need his offense off the bench, he should still see significant minutes in this matchup. He’s played 32 or more in each of the last three in two of those games up monster scoring lines of 45 points and 26 points respectively. That’s important because an overwhelming amount of his fantasy production relies on putting the ball in the hoop. Meanwhile, Conley has been able to get into the scoring side of things recently after really being on the struggle bus for times this season. He’s averaged 22 points and seven assists this week which is cherrypicked for sure because before that it was looking really bad. He wasn’t hitting threes and really just not looking to get his shot all that often. But the usage definitely climbs with Mitchell off the court this season and we should see the minutes in the low 30s as well considering the situation. And keep an eye out for Nickeil Alexander-Walker (FD 3500 DK 3100) who actually could draw the start here and is coming basically at the minimums. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7600 DK - $7700Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 41.93 DK - 44.78 Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 42.81 DK - 44.54 This is just too good of a matchup to pass up with the Pacers facing off against the Houston Rockets. On the season, the Rockets have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opponents. It was by a wide margin though now the Lakers are starting to give them a run for their money. Regardless, the backcourt duo here...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/16/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/16/22 If you love watching a lot of basketball, this slate is for you. This is the appetizer for the NCAA tournament, with 12 games making up this massive Wednesday card. If you know me, you know that I kind of hate these slates. There are just too many teams and too many players to pick from. It always leads to some crazy high-scoring in DFS tourneys and it's tough to match up with some of the optimal bots out there. With that said, we feel like we have a great group of 10 players to choose from, so let's get started with some ball-handlers. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Alec Burks FD - $5800 DK - $6000 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 28.86 DK - 29.26 Burks isn't necessarily a traditional point guard, but he's been the Knicks primary ball-handler for a month now. The Derrick Rose injury helped to bump his usage, but the Kemba Walker situation gave him all the point guard minutes he can handle. In fact, Burks has played at least 34 minutes in seven of nine starts since recapturing this role, averaging 29 DK points per game across 35 minutes in his 30 starts for the year. That's really all you can hope for from a $6K player, especially with Alec scoring at least 34 fantasy points in four of his last six games. The matchup with Portland is the icing on the cake, though, with the Trail Blazers ranked 26th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency. Patrick Beverley FD - $5100 DK - $4900 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 26.26 DK - 25.89 It's hard to understand why Beverley has remained this cheap all season. Injuries have derailed a few games over the last month, but he's been amazing aside from that. Pat-Bev has at least 22 DK points in 27 of the previous 29 games he's finished, generating a 29-point average in that span. That's tough to find from a $5K player, but it's no surprise when you see that he regularly plays 30-35 minutes for a team that plays at the fastest pace in the NBA. That becomes even more attractive...
