EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix Track name - Circuit of the Americas Track - 3.140 Mile Road Course Total Turns - 20 2021 Road Course Winners: Charlotte Road - Kyle Larson(started 10th) Indy Road - A.J. Allmendinger(started 8th) Watkins Glen - Kyle Larson(started 4th) Road America - Chase Elliott(started 34th) Sonoma - Kyle Larson(started 1st) Circuit of the Americas - Chase Elliott(started 8th) Daytona Road - Christopher Bell(started 12th) If I was a betting man(*giggles), I would say NASCAR is very pleased with the start of the 2022 season as a brand new hybrid Atlanta produced a fifth different winner on the season. The series now heads to Circuit of the Americas as the NextGen car will be debuted at its first road course race of the season. Last year was COTA's debut in NASCAR and it saw the series' top road course racer, Chase Elliott, take home the checkered flag and the race produced almost double the passing of any of the six road courses used last season. For fantasy, while track position is always important at a road course, we can't ignore the possibility of multiple drivers tallying double-digit place differential and thus pushing into the optimal lineups. At the end of the day, however, it comes down to qualifying which comes right after the 50-minute practice session. Stay tuned to the cheatsheet for updates along with my final targets and rankings in my player pool. Then join me on YouTube channel Sunday morning for my raceday live show at 12:30 pm ET. With all that said, let's now take a look at some early targets based on early-season success, track history, and road course history. Targets Chase Elliott/Kyle Larson It would...

Guards Darius Garland FD - $9500 DK - $9700 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 41.17 DK - 46.14 It may seem odd starting this article with the lowest total on the slate and against a Top 10 defense but we just can't ignore what Garland is doing on the court. He has taken a huge step forward in his third season in the league with improvements across the board statistically as he is leading the Cavs to the Playoffs(currently #6 seed). The price is on the way up but I am not concerned as he has been very consistent in March tallying 42 or more DK points in nine of 11 games while averaging 48.3 per game. The Raptors have also been giving up points in bunches to guards in the short term so all things considered, I will have exposure to Garland in all formats. C.J. McCollum FD - $8000 DK - $9100 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 43.71 DK - 47.4 Volume is the name of the game when paying up at guard and like Garland, McCollum absolutely loves to shoot. Since joining the Pelicans at the trade deadline, McCollum has averaged 18.9 shots, 25.9 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds per game which, for fantasy, equates to an average of 45 DK/43.3 FD points per game. He and the Pels now get a plus matchup against a Bulls team that ranks in the bottom third(20th) in defensive efficiency and run the league's 12th fastest pace. Lock and load in all formats. Tyus Jones FD - $5100 DK - $4300 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 34.23 DK - 36.28 Monte Morris FD - $4500 DK - $4600 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 23.35 DK - 25.71 I am going to group these two value guards together tonight as there is news surrounding both but I am optimistic they will both keep their roles, at least for tonight's games. Let's start with the Grizzlies who are playing the second leg of a back-to-back tonight after taking down the Nets at home last night without Ja Morant who missed his second straight game. Tyus Jones...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/23/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/23/22 It's been a grind of a season, but the finish line is in sight. There are only three weeks left in the season, and many of these teams are jockeying for positioning. We're surely going to see the standings change here, with 11 games making up this massive Wednesday card. That leaves us with a monster player pool and plenty to discuss! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Davion Mitchell FD - $4600 DK - $5200 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 28.83 DK - 30.08 Let's kick things off with a couple of cheap point guards. Mitchell might be the best value out there, filling in for this shorthanded Sacramento team. De'Aaron Fox, Terance Davis, and Domantas Sabonis are all expected to miss this game, leaving Mitchell as the focal point of the offense. He was treated with that role on Sunday, dropping 47 fantasy points across 46 minutes in a matchup with the best defense in the NBA. This matchup is far from scary, with the Pacers ranked 24th in points allowed and 26th in defensive efficiency. As long as he gets this massive role against this putrid Pacers defense, DM should be $2,000 more on each site. Tyus Jones FD - $4300 DK - $4600 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.23 DK - 33.31 Jones is actually in a similar spot as Mitchell. He's being asked to step in as the starting point guard in Memphis, filling in for the injured Ja Morant. Tyus has been terrific in that role all season, averaging 29 DK points per game in his 16 starts this season. More importantly, he's handling the ball on nearly every possession, running this elite Memphis offense at ease. That makes it hard to believe that he remains so well below $5K, especially in such a tasty matchup. Tyus gets to face the Nets, with Brooklyn ranked 22nd in defensive efficiency ratings this season. Getting these two cheap guards in your lineup is a great way to start lineup construction, opening up the door for numerous studs that we'll mention later on. Brandon Williams has been excellent as Portland's starting point guard and could be asked to do more with...

This week is another two-event week but for this article, we will be focusing on WGC Dell Technologies Match Play from Austin Country Club. While the event dates back to 1999, it has only been held here at Austin CC since 2016 so that is the data we will be using in terms of course history and the stats model. Speaking of that stats model, I am keeping it pretty simple this week and looking for players who are trending in terms of ball striking, especially with the irons, par 4 scoring, putting on Bermuda greens, and making birdies. More importantly this week, in terms of strategy, is optimizing your lineups based on the complete bracket and possible outcomes. I go over some of this strategy in my DFS PGA Preview video Monday night. Check it out then and then below, I will be going over a few of my core plays for this event. Top Targets Jordan Spieth Seed (#11) Vegas Odds (33/1) Draftkings ($8,900) At first look, it is a fairly tough group with Scott, Rose, and Keegan but where Spieth holds the advantage is with his experience. He has played the event here at Austin CC each ear it has hosted and while he has only made it through the group stage twice, he has a terrific 9-3-3 group record. The ball-striking(19th in this field & +.9) has been good over the last 12 rounds and while the putter has been up and down we know he hot he...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Jordan Poole FD - $7400 DK - $7400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 34.89 DK - 38.44 Klay Thompson FD - $7000 DK - $8100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 39.98 DK - 43.34 With Stephen Curry out for the foreseeable future, the offense is now in the hands of these two guys and they are going to need to carry much of the load moving forward on that end of the court. It didn’t all work out the first game with the Warriors falling to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. But Poole’s usage was great, taking 21 shots in his 36 minutes. He finished with 28 points while also adding five rebounds and three assists. An overwhelming amount of his fantasy production is wrapped up into scoring, so we are going to need him chucking from the rafters. But that should be the case in this game against the Magic. And then there is Klay who actually led the team in shots on Sunday, putting up 23 total and finishing with 24 points, thanks in large part to the 6-12 from beyond the arc. He, like Poole, also needs to score because there wasn’t a ton happening with the peripheral stats. But really it’s tough to pass up the FanDuel price, especially which really hasn’t corrected for enough for the loss of Curry. He is likely to be a very popular play over there at shooting guard. Jrue Holiday FD - $8100 DK - $7800Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 40.03 DK - 42.92 Khris Middleton is going to miss this game which should open up some opportunity in the Bucks’ offense even though Giannis still dominates much of what goes on over there. But we do know that when Middleton is off the court this season, Holiday has the second-highest usage rate at 29%, an 8% increase over what he’s typically done during the season. I think we have a solid opportunity to stack the two main offensive threats from the Bucks here with Jrue coming at something of a value assuming the opportunity increases here. Milwaukee is still playing for seeding here, in a...
