Point Guard / Shooting Guard Ja Morant FD - $9800 DK - $9700Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 53.19 DK - 54.37 I think Ja Morant is a tough fade here on this slate with the Grizzlies now clearly comfortable running him major minutes in these playoff games. He played 41 in Game 3 and finished with a triple-double, scoring 18 points and adding 10 rebounds and assists each. Sure, he struggled from the field going 5-18 but more than made up for it in other areas. Heck, he even added three steals and a block. The Grizzlies have the highest implied win total for a reason considering Minnesota’s defensive deficiencies. I like the price on both sites. James Harden FD - $8700 DK - $9100Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 53.7 DK - 57.38 The usage rate for Harden hasn’t been all that robust this series, though that could be set to change some moving forward. The Sixers released news that Joel Embiid is dealing with a torn ligament in his thumb, an injury that he’ll try to play through for the rest of the playoffs. So far, for this series, Harden is averaging 18 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds in about 40 minutes per game. He fouled out in OT last game. He’s shooting 41% from the field and 44% from three with the only real issue being the shot volume. But if Embiid is going to play hurt, we could be getting Harden at a total bargain here on both sites. Danny Green FD - $4200 DK - $4100Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 29.77 DK - 29.76 Danny Green played a million minutes last game and it was just enough to get him to value at these prices. With Matisse Thybulle still ineligible to play games in Toronto, it stands to reason we see max run out of Green again. In Game 3, he went for nine points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Again, just enough to get by at these price points. And on these playoff slates, any cheap play is needed in order to fit in the superstars. I’m fine going back to Green’s particular...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8000 DK - $8000Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 43.97 DK - 44.49 With Khris Middleton now out indefinitely, and at least for the next two games, the Bucks are going to need all of the offensive production they can get from everyone else. The first stop should be Jrue Holiday who becomes close to a lock in cash games now and will likely play a ton of minutes over the next two at least. For the series, he’s averaging 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the series so far. And this is with him struggling from the field and also from three, meaning we could get some regression on the scoring. I suspect he is one of the more popular plays on the slate now considering the context around this Bucks team who will be without one of its best players. Zach LaVine FD - $7200 DK - $7300Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 44.07 DK - 46.49 We are going to be overweighted on this game for sure, but it makes sense considering the context of what’s going on here. The Bulls are now live in this series, against seemingly all odds, but no Khris Middleton for the Bucks could have that effect. Lavine played 43 minutes last game and scored just 20 points while handing out only three assists which could turn you off to this play. But if that’s going to be the run then these prices are a total joke and he’s one of the easiest plays on the slate. Sure, Demar DeRozan took over last game, but if Lavine is playing 40+ minutes then we are getting a crazy value. Pat Connaughton FD - $4400 DK - $4000Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 24.2 DK - 25.26 It looks like he will get the start in Game 2 with Khris Middleton out, though I suppose it could also be Grayson Allen. This is a situation we are going to want to monitor and should have the info we need well before lineup lock. With Middleton coming out early (ish) last game, Connaughton came in and...

Guards Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $9800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 52.27 DK - 55.93 The Grizzlies evened up the series in a game two blowout win on the back of another impressive performance by MVP candidate Ja Morant. He dropped 8 of 16 shots and came just one rebound shy of a triple-double and has now dropped 50+ fantasy points in both games. With the price remaining under $10K on both sites for a player who is carrying his team on his back, I will have a ton of exposure in all formats tonight. Jalen Brunson FD - $8000 DK - $8000 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 41 DK - 44.06 We aren't going to know the status of Luka Doncic until closer to game-time and even if he plays there is a strong chance he won't get a full run coming off that calf injury. That means we are clear to fire up Jalen Brunson who has been terrific in Luka's absence playing 40+ minutes in both games and taking an insane 49 shots combined and shooting nearly 50% from the field. Shooting is not all we get with Brunson, either, as he has combined for 15 rebounds and 10 assists in the first two games of the series. Obviously, it will be a bit of a downgrade if Luka plays but Brunson is in play for me either way in game three. Will Barton FD - $6000 DK - $5800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 31.64 DK - 34.92 The Nuggets have been manhandled in the first two games and now return home finding themselves in a 0-2 hole. MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, provides a very solid fantasy floor but at his price it makes lineup construction nearly impossible on this small slate. With that, I turn to Will Barton who comes in the mid-range of pricing on both sites and has been very solid in both games. He has put 33 shots in the two games and also added a ton of secondary fantasy scoring with 16 rebounds and seven assists. He has been a 5x lock this series and...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $7400 DK - $7600Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 43.75 DK - 46.83 Zach LaVine FD - $7700 DK - $7200Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 40 DK - 42.05 This does feel like the game we want to have the biggest piece of on this slate considering the matchups, the total, and the fact that there are middle-tier guys who are set to run a ton of minutes. We have to make hard choices on these three-game playoff slates where the starters and superstars for every team are set to see the lion’s share of the minutes and the fantasy output. It’s just the way of things at this point and we can’t fit every big-money play into lineups. Holiday ran close to 40 minutes in the first game and that should be the case from here on out. He had a balanced line of 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists, taking the second-most shots on the team with 16. I don’t think he’s in the class of the Kyrie Irving’s or James Harden’s, but he’s priced so far below those guys that he makes for a better dollar-for-dollar play. And then there is Lavine who is coming even cheaper and should see minutes pushing up towards 40 minutes as well if the game can stay close. That latter part is the real question, but I think we can take the risk. He struggled some from the field in Game 1, going 6-19 and just 2-10 from three, finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Again, like Holiday, that he is coming in the middle tier instead of the upper makes it easier to fit the salary and work in other plays who also have high floors. We can’t take a total stars and scrubs approach here considering there really isn’t much in the way of punt plays. Khris Middleton FD - $6800 DK - $7400Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 39.95 DK - 41.44 Middleton played 39 minutes in the first game of the series, finishing with 11 points, six assists, and five rebounds, an underwhelming stat line to say...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Trae Young FD - $9500 DK - $9300Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 50.87 DK - 55.41 He was completely terrible in the first game, I get it. Could Miami have his number throughout? Maybe. It’s certainly possible. But I also don’t want to completely overreact to one game either knowing what kind of dynamic offensive talent Trae is when things are all rolling. He shot 1-12 in that first game, an affair that turned into a blowout. I don’t think we can project that for every game, and there’s a world in which things stay close and he murders this number. I’m going back to the well on Trae here with the idea that we are getting him at something of a discount all things considered. Kyle Lowry FD - $7000 DK - $6300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 34.54 DK - 36.09 He didn’t play a ton in the first game mostly because he didn’t have to. It turned into a blowout early and no one on the Heat side of things was taxed all that much. I don’t think Miami blows them out over the course of the whole series and I do think we can project Lowry in the upper-30s in terms of minutes which definitely makes him a value play. Even in just 29 minutes on Sunday this guy went for 10 points and nine assists with a couple of steals and four rebounds. He’s just coming too cheap on DraftKings especially. C.J. McCollum FD - $8400 DK - $8100Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 44.78 DK - 46.17 As long as the game stays even remotely close, we can bank on C.J. McCollum playing a million minutes. The Pelicans need every bit of the production and there’s a reason he ran 43 minutes out of the gate. Considering New Orleans needs his scoring in the worst way, as long as there’s a sliver of hope he has a super high floor at these prices. In the first game of the series, CJ played 43 minutes, took a team-high 25 shots, and finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. It’s...
