Point Guard/Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8600 DK - $8000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 45.56 DK - 48.73 Holiday was good in the first round against the Bulls but has been great in this second-round matchup against the Celtics defense that ranked #1 in defensive efficiency during the regular season. It starts with the heavy usage he has seen taking 20 or more shots in all three games while averaging 23 real points and over 44 fantasy points per game. Despite the rising price, there is still a ton of upside here as he has shot just 37% in those games while averaging 50% over 67 regular-season games. He is my top guard on this slate and in play in all formats. Jordan Poole FD - $7200 DK - $7100 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 35.39 DK - 39.09 Poole was relied on heavily in 2022 with injuries to both Klay Thompson and Steph Curry and took a huge step forward in his third season in the league. It has also been fascinating to see how he has adapted in the playoff run as well as he started each game against Denver in round one but has been dramatically better since returning to a bench/6th man role against the Grizzlies. He is averaging over 34 minutes, has taken 16+ shots and tallied 20+ points in all three games, and from a fantasy perspective, is averaging 41.6 DK/39 FD points per game. He provides a high floor and also adds some upside putting him in play in all formats on both sites. Tyus Jones FD - $3700 DK - $3400 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 29.67 DK - 31.82 Superstar Ja Morant is doubtful for game four on Monday with a knee injury and that should give Tyus Jones his first start of the playoffs. He made 23 starts during the regular season in games in which Morant missed and was very productive for fantasy playing just over 30 minutes a game and averaging 29 fantasy points per game. Given his sub $4K price tag on both sites, he is likely one of the chalkiest plays...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11500 DK - $11000Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 60.08 DK - 64.22 Jalen Brunson FD - $6700 DK - $6600Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 35.03 DK - 36.07 For the Mavericks to pull out this series, both of these guys are going to need to go off. It’s not going to be good enough for just Luka to carry the team. Dallas is going to need a secondary scorer, something they got out of Brunson in Game 3. He put up 21 shots to Luka’s 25 and ended up with a team-high 28 points to go with five assists and four rebounds. It’s exactly what they needed and it worked to throw the Suns’ defense out of rhythm in the idea that it wasn’t just Luka. And Doncic, for his part, is still the prime guy to go after on this slate. Heck, this is a dude who in an “off” game went for 26 points 13 rebounds and nine assists. He’s just everything you could want in a fantasy basketball player and the floor is as high as it gets. Is he expensive? Sure. But it’s worth it and there’s a chance he comes back here to drop 40+. On these playoff slates, fading the superstars is almost never the right answer. These are the ride-or-die guys and Doncic is one of the best to do it. Chris Paul FD - $9700 DK - $8100Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 44.38 DK - 45.79 The DraftKings price is just daring you to play the guy, especially in relation to the FanDuel price which does feel a little bit on the high side. Coming off the 14 for 14 game to close out the New Orleans series, CP3 has mostly been solid in this Mavericks’ series though the latter did everything they could to limit him last game and he only finished with 9 shots total. Still, this is a guy averaging a 20/6/5 line in the worst of times and there is definite upside if things get rolling. Small Forward Jimmy Butler FD - $10400 DK - $8900Opponent - PHIProj Pts...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Ja Morant FD - $10800 DK - $10300Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 55.22 DK - 57.12 It’s been pretty ridiculous what Ja’s done in these playoffs, but specifically in these first two games against the Warriors. This dude is averaging a crazy 41 points, 8.5 rebounds, and nine assists in the first two, putting up some of the more nuts lines you’ll see in fantasy basketball. And he’s a 6’3 point guard. Sure, we knew he was on the superstar cusp, but this is something else entirely. Considering how he’s getting after it in every single respect, he makes for a very tough fade especially considering that the Grizzlies are going to need to play him almost all of the minutes to have a chance. Jrue Holiday FD - $8300 DK - $8100Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 46.27 DK - 46.87 With the Bucks still playing without Khris Middleton, Jrue becomes one of the premier plays on the slate and his price hasn’t moved a ton from the start of the playoffs. And yet this is a guy who is coming off taking the second-most shots on the team last time out (20) and for the first two games is averaging 22 points, 6.5 rebounds, six assists, and 2.5 steals. He’s got to log major run for the Bucks to have a chance against Boston considering how thin they are at this point, especially in the backcourt. De'Anthony Melton FD - $5500 DK - $4300Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 25.05 DK - 25.25 Ziaire Williams FD - $4700 DK - $3200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 16.67 DK - 17.64 With Dillon Brooks out for this game, it looks like these two are going to need to step up to play some more in the backcourt for the Grizzlies. Last game, with Brooks kicked out early, Melton ran 26 minutes and scored just three points. But he added eight rebounds and five blocks+steals. He’s always been a solid points-per-minute guy if given the run. I think I can stomach the DraftKings price. And then there is Ziaire Williams who will likely draw the start for...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 5/6/22

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11500 DK - $11600Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 60.08 DK - 64.22 The Mavericks are pot committed, as they should be, to just having this be the Luka show and letting the chips fall where they may. With their current construction, and his talent, there’s really no other way around it. That being said, I’m not sure it has much of a chance in this series, but that’s just going to be the way it is. He’s averaging 40 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds per game through the first two, and that’s even with losing minutes in Game 2 because of the blowout. Phoenix hunted him mercilessly on the defensive end and that will likely continue as well. As it stands it’s just tough to fade him on these two game slates. James Harden FD - $8700 DK - $9000Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 49.39 DK - 52.68 It’s brutal, but we might just need to die on this hill as long as Joel Embiid is out. Harden tallied 41 minutes in Game 2, though struggled from behind the arc (1-5) while shooting 6-15 from the field overall. The price is stuck here which would sure seem like a bargain but Miami is doing everything they can to make it hard on him through the first couple of games. I want to believe the track record is enough for things to turn around, but it’s getting harder and harder to trust. We need to keep an eye on the Heat guard situation for Friday. Currently Kyle Lowry (FD $6000 DK $6100), Tyler Herro (FD $6400 DK $6900), Max Strus (FD $4200 DK $5300) and to a lesser extent Caleb Martin (FD $3600 DK $3500) are all questionable. How this injury situation shakes out could have a major impact on the two-game slate. Small Forward Mikal Bridges FD - $6100 DK - $5900Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 32.91 DK - 32.95 The minutes are just so safe on this guy at this point that you can run him out there just on the projected court time and feel ok that you...

The Course TPC Potomac @ Avenel Farm Par 70 - 7,160 Yards Greens - Bentgrass **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Welcome back golf fans. As you can see above, this season's Wells Fargo Championship will look a little different as Quail Hollow will not host the event for the first time since 2003 as they will host the 2022 Presidents Cup. Taking its place for this season will TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm which last hosted a PGA Tour event in 2018 with the Quick Loans National where Francesco Molinari took home the trophy. Despite what his winning score of -21 says, the course does not play that easy and it shows as only seven players hit double-digit under par and the course ranked 14th hardest among the non-major venues in 2018. Looking a little closer at the course to help formulate a stats model on the sheet, we have a fairly demanding course off the tee with smaller than average fairways and thicker Kentucky Bluegrass rough and water in play on 10 of the 18 holes. Golfers will then approach very small bentgrass greens that run faster than the tour average(listed at 12.5 on the stimp). What this tells me is that you will have to be very accurate off the tee or have an excellent approach game from the rough or possibly both(lol). Molinari's win in 2018 was driven by his elite ball-striking as he hit a field-leading 75% fairways and 86% greens in regulation. With very small and very fast greens, I will also be factoring in that the field will likely be hitting a below-average number of greens which elevates the importance of scrambling/SG: around the green. When looking at my top stats each week, there are rarely players who check every box so I...
