The Course Memorial Park Golf Course Par 70 - 7,412 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole-by-hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2022 - Jason Kokrak(-10) 2021 - Carlos Ortiz(-13) This week the PGA Tour heads to Houston and Memorial Park Golf Course for the Cadence Bank Houston Open. The event dates back to the early 70's but this marks the third year that Memorial Park will play host and it has played as a Top 10 hardest course on tour in each of those previous seasons including the majors. The course is the longest Par 70 on tour listed at over 7,400 on the scorecard. Two of the five Par 3's exceed 200 yards(216, 237) and five of the 10 Par 4's are 490 yards or longer. This brings a few key factors into my stats model this week and its Driving Distance, Strokes Gained: Approach, Proximity from 200+ yards, and Par 4 scoring. Combine that with a touch of course history and some current form and we can start narrowing down the field and looking at some core plays. Let's dig in! Top Targets Scottie Scheffler World Golf Ranking (#2) Vegas Odds (6/1) Draftkings ($11,500) FanDuel ($12,000) There is a sizeable gap at the top of the salary this week as Scottie Scheffler looks back in form and ready to take back the #1 player in the world. After a disappointing T45 at the CJ Cup to open his PGA Tour season, Scottie bounced back last week with a T3 at the Mayakoba where he finished 4th in greens in regulation and also appears to have found the putter ranking 12th in putts per GIR in the field. He now returns to Memorial Park where he finished T2 last year and ended up rankings second in Strokes Gained: Tee to...

Guards Terry Rozier FD - $7900 DK - $7700 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 39.29 DK - 40.11 The injury bug has hit the Hornets in a big way to start the season but they did get Terry Rozier back on Saturday and he stepped right back into a major role. He played 36 minutes, took 24 shots and while he shot just 37.5% from the field, he did drain six 3's and put up 39 DK/33 FD points. He should get heavy usage once again on Monday and gets a plus matchup against the Wizards who rank 24th in defensive efficiency and 29th in fantasy points against guards. At a sub $8K price tag, I will have exposure in all formats. CJ McCollum FD - $8200 DK - $8500 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 37.54 DK - 38.34 Speaking of good matchups, the Pelicans who have arguably the best one on the board Monday and that is good news as McCollum's price is now comfortably sitting in the mid $8k range on both sites. I am not concerned as this game has a very high 235.5 total as the Pels as head into Indy to face the Pacers who are 5th in pace, 26th in defensive efficiency, and have allowed the most fantasy points to guards. McCollum has also been very consistent lately averaging  23.7 points, nine rebounds, and 4.3 assists over his last three games while posting 40+ fantasy points in each. All things considered, he is a player that will be in my player pool in all formats. Tyrese Maxey FD - $8000 DK - $7800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 41.24 DK - 42.72 De'Anthony Melton FD - $5600 DK - $5300 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 35.81 DK - 35.21 This pairing might not have as good of a matchup of the guys mentioned above but the value is still there and it comes down to added opportunities with James Harden out. In his first game out, Maxey took on a huge role taking 29 shots and while he only shot 34% from the field, he dropped 31 points and added seven assists for 44 FD/47 DK points. You have to think the shooting will regress back towards the mean and we know the usage is going to...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday 11/6

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 11/6/22 If you played DFS over the weekend, you probably had a headache at some point. That Friday card was one of the craziest things I've ever seen, with dozens of big-name players getting ruled out. It feels like that's the way the NBA is headed, and following the news will put you way ahead of the field. The good news is that we have no team playing a B2B, which should limit some absences. We also have just three games making up this tiny Sunday card, but there's still plenty to discuss! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $10100 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 49.34 DK - 51.24 Ja just had his worst game of the season, but we need to look at the game script. Memphis was up by 40 points in the second half in that win over Charlotte, limiting Morant to a season-low in minutes. He still provided his elite per-minute averages, dropping 33 DK points across 24 minutes. That brings him to an average of 47 DraftKings points across 31 minutes a game. That's the highest total among all the healthy players, making Morant impossible to fade on a three-game slate. He's simply doing everything for this Grizzlies offense with Jaren Jackson Jr out, and we certainly don't expect him to struggle against a 25th-ranked Washington defense from last year. Reggie Jackson FD - $4700 DK - $5300 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 22.87 DK - 23.91 I might be an idiot for riding Reggie, but he will eventually have some ceiling games at a diminished price tag. R-Jax was well above $6K in a similar role last season, and this offense needs him to do more in the absence of Kawhi Leonard. The usage is still there for him to be a stud, with Jackson averaging 13 shots and 32.3 minutes over the last six outings. That's the same role we saw when he was $1,000 more last year, and it's just a matter of time before the shots start falling. He averaged 29 DraftKings points across 31 minutes a night last year, and a total like that would be impressive from such...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 11/5

Guards CJ McCollum FD - $8100 DK - $8600 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 35.5 DK - 36.32 The price is at a season-high but it is certainly warranted as the usage has ticked up since the start of the season as he has taken 19 or more shots in five straight coming into tonight. He has also averaged 42 fantasy points in that time and their is room for growth on that, as well, with the shooting(39%) down from what we normally get from him. What I really like here is the matchup as it's a pace-up game for the Pels as the Hawks are 8th in pace and also rank 19th in overall defensive efficiency. All things considered, McCollum is a terrific play in all formats. Jamal Murray FD - $5800 DK - $6200 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 29.02 DK - 30.3 Murray checks almost every box tonight starting with an elite matchup. He and the Nuggets face a Spurs team playing on a back-to-back, ranks 26th in defensive efficiency, 21st in fantasy points against guards, and runs a league-high pace. It also helps that Murray is currently playing his best basketball of the season playing 30+ minutes in back-to-back games with 19 and 21 shots 20+ points in each along with 34 fantasy points in each of those games. This is a great spot and the price is still down from the start of the season which has me loading up in all formats. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $7000 DK - $6600 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 34.38 DK - 33.21 Assuming the Hornets are still without LaMello Ball and Terry Rozier on Saturday I will continue to run Dennis Smith out there in all formats. He has been playing well as a starter averaging 12.3 points, 7.2 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 steals+blocks per game across six starts and despite a dud against the Magic is averaging 34 fantasy points, as well. He also gets a top matchup against a Nets team in shambles with Kyrie suspended and ranking dead last in defensive efficiency to start the year. Stay tuned for news as Smith becomes a top PTS/$ guard if Ball and Rozier remain out. Small Forward Kevin Durant FD - $10600 DK - $10600 Opponent - CHA Proj...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Maxey FD - $8200 DK - $6500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 39.9 DK - 43.22 De'Anthony Melton FD - $6000 DK - $4400Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 37.34 DK - 38.23 James Harden is set to miss at least the next month and that’s going to obviously open up a ton of different stuff for the 76ers when it comes to the fantasy department. With Joel Embiid also unlikely to see full run here as he comes back from injury too, we could see massive minutes for both Tyrese Maxey and De’Anthony Melton and huge usage for Maxey in particular. Maxey played 43 minutes last time out against the Wizards and took 20 shots. That was with Harden around. With the latter off the court the shots should be in the mid-20s against the Knicks and his price is a total joke on DraftKings in particular. Meanwhile, Melton’s fantasy performance has been a bit more variable, but the minutes should be there. Plus, he’s shown the ability to contribute across the stat line throughout his career and that’s carried over to the 76ers. His FanDuel price has come up to the point that it’s at least a question, but I do think he sees enough minutes to make it worth it. The DraftKings price, like we said with Maxey, is a total joke. Kyle Lowry FD - $6500 DK - $6300Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 34.21 DK - 37.06 The Heat are going to be without Jimmy Butler again for this game and will get one of the best DFS matchups around against the Pacers. Indianapolis runs the fourth-fastest pace and has the worst defensive efficiency in the league. It doesn’t get much better than that. Lowry is playing major minutes for Miami, having 37 or more in each of the last three games. Without Butler last game, he took his season-high shots with 24 and finished with 22 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. The price hasn’t come up enough on either site and he’s an easy value on this slate. Strongly consider Max Strus...
