Game Stack - Los Angeles Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings Kirk Cousins FD 7800 DK 6900 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 22.29 DK - 22.29 Justin Jefferson FD 9700 DK 9300 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 22.58 DK - 27.42 Keenan Allen FD 8800 DK 7600 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 15.89 DK - 19.99 Pretty chalky starting with the highest total of the week but with so many different ways to stack each side, it is a perfect game for multi-entry GPP. It is a great recipe for points given both teams come in 0-2 and are hungry to get a win with both having Top 10 offences and below-average defences. I will be starting with one of the most expensive directions but given the shootout potential, I think it provides us with a high floor and ceiling and could be a lower-owned combo given that high price tag. Cousins is a quarterback fans love to hate but it's hard to deny the fantasy value. He comes into week three having thrown 44 passes in both games while tallying 344 and 364 yards with six touchdowns and just one pick. The volume alone has him as my top PTS/$ quarterback this week and slightly over Herbert due to the cheaper price tag. Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockensen have received the lion's share of that volume with 48% target share between them, 29% going to JJ who has put up 150+ yards in both games while also leading the league with 206 air yards. I will be running it back with Keenan Allen who has also been terrific sitting 9th in receiving yards and air yards through two weeks. If you are looking for a cheaper stack in this game consider Jordan Addison or T.J. Hockenson for the Vikings and Mike Williams for the Chargers. Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes FD 9200 DK 8300 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 27.13 DK - 27.13 Patrick Mahomes got Travis Kelce back in Week 2 and went right back to being awesome again. He finished 29/41 for 305 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars and should be set to air it out against the Bears here as well. The game could get out of hand, for sure, but the Bears are already second-to-last in the league in yards per pass attempt through two weeks. The defense is rough and the secondary should get picked apart here. There are some pricey QBs to consider this week in cash, but Mahomes sits at the top of the list. Lamar Jackson FD 8200 DK 7700 Opponent INDProj Points FD - 23.67 DK - 23.67 In this price range I probably just want to spend all the way up for Mahomes, but there’s a case to be made for Lamar Jackson coming just a bit cheaper. He’s completing passes at a 75% clip through two weeks and is also coming off a 12-rush game as well. The Colts are allowing a bunch of yards per pass attempt to opponents through the first two weeks and Jackson has more receiving weapons than before with Zay Flowers already looking like the guy and Mark Andrews returning last week. Kirk Cousins FD 7800 DK 6900 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 22.29 DK - 22.29 I really only like to roster running quarterbacks in cash, but on DraftKings there’s a case to make an exception with Cousins this week. At just $6600 in a game with a 54 total, there’s a path for him to paying off rather easily. The Vikings have had to throw a bunch through the first two games and that could be the case again. Cousins is averaging 350 yards and 3 TDs in that stretch and could be in line for a similar output this time around. Running Back Jerome Ford FD 5600 DK 4800 Opponent TENProj Points FD - 16.49 DK - 18.31 Nick Chubb suffered a horrible knee injury and has been lost for the season. That’s left Jerome Ford as Cleveland’s new (for now) bellcow running back.
