He wasn’t all that efficient through the air, going only 17 of 28 for 123 yards. But he threw for three touchdowns. It was on the ground that he made it, running for 178 yards and scampering for another touchdown. He now has 602 rushing yards on the season, good for second among quarterbacks and ninth overall in the league. Now, he’ll play a Lions’ team ranked 26th on defense and allowing the 7th-most opponent plays per game. This is another smash spot for Fields and he will be a very popular play on DraftKings once again. Daniel Jones FD 7500 DK 5700 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 21.04 DK - 21.04 Though Fields will drive a lot of ownership in Week 10, it’s worth checking in on Daniel Jones who is coming almost $1K cheaper on both sites and has considerable upside as well. He’s coming off a bye week and will play the Texans who allow the third-most opponent plays per game and have the 30th-ranked defense. The Giants are -6.5 home favorites and Jones has done well on the ground, ranking 4th overall in QB rushing yards on the season. He has a higher floor in this game and you don’t have to break the bank to get him in lineups. Running Backs Saquon Barkley FD 9500 DK 8600 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 25.07 DK - 27.48 It could make sense to stack Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley in cash this week seeing as how they draw one of the best matchups around in the Texans and are fully rested after the bye. Barkley’s 24.75 rushing attempts + receiving targets per game is second-most in the league after only Derek Henry and he should get a steady diet of looks against a Houston team ranked dead last in the league against the rush. With the quarterback position not coming prohibitively expensive, Saquon should be one of the highest-owned plays on the slate especially after Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers got flexed to the night game. The biggest difference here is just how much better Kyler Murray is with his top receiver DeAndre Hopkins back in the mix. In two games since returning, Kyler has completed 22 of 27 passes in Hopkins' direction with the star wideout having a combined 262 receiving yards in those games. With Hopkins back, Kyler has also seen his accuracy improve completing 69.8% of his passes in those two games(65% in six games without Hopkins). He is also coming off his best game of the season finally showing us his upside with 326 passing yards and three touchdowns. Finally, Kyler gives us big upside with his legs and has almost identical rushing numbers as Josh Allen. While Hopkins is easily the top option in the offense, I do like double-stacking the Cardinals and a Kyler ceiling game will most definitely involve two pass-catchers. Rondale Moore will not only get a lot of single coverage but gets the more favorable matchup in the slot where he runs most of his routes. He flopped in the first game with DHop back but rebounded in a big way last week catching 7 of 8 targets for 92 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Also consider getting some exposure to Zach Ertz(TE) in your Cardinals stacks. He has yet to give us the ceiling game we have been waiting for but leads all tight ends with 14 redzone targets this season so the upside is most definitely there. There are just too many good options on the main slate to fade all of the upper tier guys. It’s just too tough. And with that in mind, fading Allen at all this season has been a major problem. He’s the top overall DraftKings scorer on the season despite playing one fewer game than basically all the next-closest guys. The Bills are -13 road favorites against the Jets in Week 9 and the latter does have a great defense this season. But Allen is just too good and the Bills pass too much to think Allen gets scripted down out of value even in a blowout. Kyler Murray FD 8200 DK 7400 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 24.14 DK - 24.14 Murray is coming off his best fantasy game of the season in Week 8 when he threw for 326 yards and ran for another 36 in the loss to the Vikings. Now he’ll face the Seahawks in a game that has the highest point total of the main slate (50). While Seattle hasn’t been terrible on defense from a DVOA perspective, they do allow the 4th-most opponent plays per game this season, meaning this is a pace-up matchup for Murray and the Cardinals. Having DeAndre Hopkins back in the mix makes this a much more potent offense and Murray running gives him a higher floor. Running Backs Rhamondre Stevenson FD 8000 DK 6200 Opponent INDProj Points FD - 19.71 DK - 22.07 Stevenson has been good all season, but the real bonus has come in the last couple of weeks when he’s become a much bigger part of the passing game. He eight targets in each of the last two weeks and is averaging is averaging 22.3 touches (carries + targets) in the last three weeks. The Patriots are -5.5 home favorites against the Colts who are good against the run, but only and average defense overall. Stevenson is too cheap on DraftKings now for what he is doing in the passing game. My favorite starts with Josh Jacobs who has been tremendous lately with 20 or more rush attempts and 143 or more rushing yards in three straight games while also reaching the endzone a whopping six times! On top of that, he has also been involved in the passing game catching 13 of 15 targets for another 82 yards in that time and that is key when playing full PPR on DraftKings. That heavy run approach has been key in turning the Raiders season around and I don't see it stopping against a Saints team that has been vulnerable to the run lately. Last week Eno Benjamin rushed for 92 yards on just 12 carries(7.7 yards per rush), Joe Mixon only rushed for 45 yards on them in week 6 but that was on just eight carries(5.6 yards per carry) and he also caught a TD through the air, and Kenneth Walker blew them up for 88 yards on eight carries(11 yards per rush) and a touchdown the week before that. I will be running this back with Andy Dalton in a game script where the Saints are chasing and need to pass 40+ times once again. Dalton showed us his ceiling last week in a come-from-behind game script where he threw for 361 yards and four touchdowns. I doubt we see that sort of upside again but it's possible against a Raiders defense that is 30th in DVOA against the pass. I will pair Dalton with his primary pass-catcher Chris Olave who is most definitely in the running for Rookie of the Year. We are still getting him at value prices even though the production has been excellent and pretty consistent. He’s thrown for 1,712 yards, the seventh most in the league,S and has 11 touchdowns to just three interceptions. The Giants for all of their feel-good 5-1 start still have the 29th overall defense and give it up both through the air and on the ground. Geno is coming cheap enough on both sites to start fitting some of the skill position guys we are going to want in cash. Daniel Jones FD 7500 DK 5700 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 19.81 DK - 19.81 I don’t think I want him on FanDuel where I can get Geno for $500 cheaper, but the DraftKings price is pretty nice and allows for plenty of flexibility elsewhere in the lineup. He’s only thrown six touchdowns on the season, but Jones has gotten it done with his legs, even putting up 107 yards on the ground last week against the Jaguars. He has three games of 68 or more rushing yards this season and has found the end zone three times as well. Again, I want to go cheap at the position this week almost for sure. I actually think you can consider Sam Ehlinger here who is getting the nod over Matt Ryan for the Colts. He is the minimum on DraftKings, has weapons in this offense and ran a ton (a ton) in college. If that’s even part of his game at the NFL level then the floor is high enough to take the risk. Running Backs Saquon Barkley FD 9500 DK 8100 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 22.66 DK - 24.77 In terms of opportunity, it doesn’t get much safer than Saquon Barkley who is coming off playing 81% of the snaps in Week 7 and is about elite as it gets when it comes to the usage.
