The guys discuss every position for the FanDuel and DraftKings main slates and target some advantageous matchups. At quarterback, they look at Josh Allen coming off a bye week well rested and against a dreadful Miami defense. But there’s also Kyler Murray against the Giants and of course Russell Wilson against the Ravens. Then they talk about some of the very few everydown/ script independent running backs still in the game. There’s a little less clarity around the wide receiver position where the big money guys are volatile and some injury situations could open up some opportunity. And finally, they finish things off with tight...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 7 – 10/20/19

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 7 - 10/20/19 Welcome back for another week of NFL analysis! It was a tough week for DFSR, as we posted our first losing week of the season - breaking even on FanDuel and losing on DraftKings. But that's football, right? DFSR still marches on with an 8-3-1 record in cash game so far this season, and in spite of a number of fantasy-relevant teams being on byes, week 7 is shaping up to be a nice bounceback. Let's get started! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 7700 DK 6500 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 22.76 DK - 23.55 Allen is coming off a bye following a Week 5 win over Tennessee. And with the extra rest he walks into a total dream matchup against the Miami Dolphins. The latter is easily the worst team in the league having been outscored by 138 points this season, almost twice as much as the next worst team. They are an unmitigated disaster and, among other bad things, are allowing the 3rd-most DraftKings scoring to opposing quarterbacks this season. They could easily be allowing the most, but teams are often beating their brains in by the fourth quarter and take their foot off the gas. That being said, it hasn’t all been gravy for Allen this season. Despite the Bills being 4-1, Allen’s completion percentage is still hovering in the low 60%’s and he’s thrown more interceptions (7) than touchdowns (5). This isn’t a trend likely to continue and it’s worth noting that four of those picks were against a very good New England defense. This should be a cake matchup and Allen’s to-date stats still have him coming a little cheaper than the top-tier arms. He also brings big-time running abilities, ranking fourth in QB rushing yards despite playing a whole game less than the group above him. Kyler Murray FD 7700 DK 6700 Opponent NYG Proj Points FD - 21.44 DK - 22.6 We talked at length about Kyler Murray last week as a cash play, specifically around the idea that it stood to reason his touchdown passes were likely to increase relative to a game-by-game average. That being said, we didn’t think it would all start to correct right away. He threw three TDs against the Falcons in a big game with 340 passing yards. He’s the seventh overall fantasy quarterback despite *still* having four fewer touchdowns than anyone higher than him...

GPP Leverage Plays for Daily Fantasy NFL Week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings

GPP Leverage Plays for Daily Fantasy NFL Week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings Welcome back football fans. Earlier in the week, Doug went over the top cash game plays and then he and James broke down every single game on the Mega Podcast. I will take a look at some possible leverage plays in GPP formats that should come with low ownership. When projecting ownership for GPP purposes, I use the tools over at FanShareSports. They curate thousands of pieces of content in articles, tweets, videos, podcasts, etc and put it all together into easy to use tools for building DFS lineups. Nick Chubb FD 7800 DK 7300 Opponent SEA Proj Points FD - 18.07 DK - 19.47 The mid-range is where a lot of people will be going for running backs this week and it makes sense as the tier is loaded with talent in plus situations. The chalk in this range is most definitely going to flow to Leonard Fournette and Le'Veon Bell who both have 20+ tags on FanShare at the moment. After those two, I think ownership then falls on Mark Ingram in an excellent matchup. Projecting things out, there is then a fairly big gap of ownership that I think we can take advantage of with Nick Chubb who is likely going to be sub 10% owned in GPP formats. Like Fournette and Bell, Chubb gets a ton of volume sitting 5th overall in touches per game(21.8) and has made the most of them as he is also 4th in overall scrimmage yards per game(119.2). The Browns are a small home underdog(+1.5) against the Seahawks who have allowed the 4th fewest rushing yards to running backs but also the 2nd fewest attempts resulting in a mid-range 16th rank in DVOA against the rush. With the focus on Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry in the passing game, Chubb is also not going to see a lot of loaded boxes to shut him down. In no way is Chubb safe in this spot or safe for cash games but at half or a third of the ownership as others in the same range, I will take a shot with his enormous upside. Amari Cooper FD 8100 DK 7000 Opponent NYJ Proj Points FD - 14.73 DK - 17.62 Like I mentioned above, the mid-range running back tier is going to be popular this week which automatically pushes...

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 6 Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/8/19 Week 6 is a weird one with four teams on byes plus an early Sunday London game to deal with. But the DFSR crew has you set with their FanDuel and DraftKings DFS NFL Podcast. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL, NHL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! They roll position-by-position for the main slate covering the “safer” plays to consider in your 50/50 contests. At quarterback they target the Arizona-Atlanta game with both Kyler Murray and Matt Ryan in play in what could be a high-scoring affair. But there’s also Lamar Jackson to consider against a terrible Bengals’ defense. At running back, things might get a little tricky with Christian McCaffrey off of the main slate. They focus on some game-script independent guys like Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, David Johnson and even *gasp* Le’Veon Bell. And finally, at WR there’s Cooper Kupp’s crazy target share, Michael Thomas converting everything into a catch and the Arizona wide outs in what could be a shootout. All of this and more on a Week 6 FanDuel and DraftKings Cash Game...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 6 – 10/13/19

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 6 - 10/13/19 After a crazy scoring Week 5 in the NFL, let's see if things settle down a bit in Week 6. There are 4 teams on a bye, plus an early Sunday London game, so the main slate is a bit smaller than usual. But there's still plenty of cash game value build lineups around. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 7700 DK 6500 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 20.9 DK - 21.65On the season, Kyler Murray is ranked 9th overall in DraftKings quarterback scoring. That doesn’t sound all that impressive until you see that he has seven fewer passing touchdowns than the next closest guy to him on the list above. This isn’t to say the Cardinals are going to just pour on tons of TDs in the name of offensive regression, but I do think it’s safe to assume this number comes up over the course of the season on a per game basis. A big reason for his fantasy gains is his work on the ground. He’s behind only Lamar Jackson in QB rushing yards this season with 206. Atlanta is fresh off a week in which Deshaun Watson torched them through the air and it’s safe(ish) to assume the Cardinals want to keep pace on offense with an Atlanta attack that comes in with the second-highest implied total on the main slate. Matt Ryan FD 8100 DK 6400 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 22.87 DK - 23.74Speaking of that high total, the Falcons should be in line for a number of points in this game. Arizona and Atlanta are averaging the second and third most average quarterback points per game on DraftKings this season (thank Miami for leading that category) and I do think we see Ryan and Murray as the chalkier cash game plays. For all of Atlanta’s issues as a team, Ryan is still the 6th-best fantasy quarterback on the season mostly because the team is playing in constant catch-up mode. He’s attempted the most passes in the league (222) and is completing them at a 70% clip. The weapons are still there through the air and you have to love the team total. Lamar Jackson FD 8200 DK 6900 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 25.39 DK - 25.57Jackson really struggled in Week 5 against the Steelers, throwing three interceptions and completing only 19 passes in a 26-23 OT win. And even with that rough...
