Game Stack - Minnesota @ Baltimore Lamar Jackson FD 8300 DK 7300 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 26.28 DK - 27.01 Marquise Brown FD 7700 DK 6000 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 14.25 DK - 16.98 Adam Thielen FD 7400 DK 6900 Opponent BAL Proj Points FD - 13.27 DK - 16.12 This game is likely going to be popular with the highest total(50) on the slate but it's perfect for multi-entry builds as you can run so many different combinations. My favorite is piggybacking off Doug's sentiment for Lamar Jackson from our cash game article. He loves the safety here with Lamar with his rushing and I love the upside as the Vikings defense is coming off a terrible performance giving up 325 yards and two touchdowns to Cooper Rush who had exactly three passing attempts in his 3.5 years in the league before last week. That includes 122/112/84 yards to the Cowboys top three wideouts. Marquise Brown has been anything but consistent leaving him off my cash game core but in GPP, I love the upside with 16.0 average depth of target, which is third among all wideouts with 30+ targets. The inconsistency has also kept his price in check throughout the season and presents a ton of PTS/$ upside. Running it back, I prefer Adam Thielen who has been more consistent than Justin Jefferson in the short term and is considerably cheaper making the build much easier to complete. I mentioned above a ton of combinations in this game stack and for some lower ownership, I love targeting Kirk Cousins and then mixing combinations of Thielen, Jefferson, Conklin and running it back with combinations of Andrews and Brown. At first glance, the matchup doesn't look that appealing as the Jets rank 12th in passing yards against and 7th in fantasy points to the QB position but digging deeper, it is somewhat of a dream matchup. Burrow has been solid all season but has really came into his own lately averaging 329 passing yards over the last four games with 10 touchdowns good for 3x-4x return in each game. The Bengals stack that stands out the most is pairing Burrow with Chase who is 2nd in receptions of 20+ yards leads all receivers in receptions of 40+ yards. What makes that stand out, even more, is the fact the Jets have given up the 6th most receptions of 20+ yards among all defenses. If you want to mix things up a bit, throw in Joe Mixon whose inconsistency should have him fairly low owned at the running back position and as a plus pass-catcher provides a ton of PTS/$ upside. Pairing him with Burrow also covers almost all projected Bengals touchdowns. Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 8100 Opponent MIAProj Points FD - 25.06 DK - 25.79 Through his six games, Josh Allen is first among quarterbacks in DraftKings per game scoring at 28.22 and he’s third overall behind only Derrick Henry and Cooper Kupp. It’s quarterbacks all the way down after that, but Allen is the best among the group. Miami ranks 25th in defensive DVOA this season and is actually allowing the 5th-most opponents plays per game as well. This lines up perfectly for Allen considering how much the Bills want to keep the ball in the air with their superstar quarterback. Allen has the sixth-most rushing yards among quarterbacks this season and that's even without being totally pressed to do so in the offense.  Trevor Lawrence FD 6700 DK 5500 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 18.4 DK - 19.16 This matchup lines up very well for the rookie with Lawrence facing off against a pretty bad Seattle team. Over the course of the season, the Seahawks have allowed the most opponent plays and ranks 25th overall in defense against the pass. It’s been an up-and-down first season for Lawrence though, from a fantasy perspective, he does offer a higher floor because he will get out and run. He’s averaging more than four rushes per game and has a couple of touchdowns on the ground. And over the last four weeks, he’s improving his accuracy completing 66% of his passes in that stretch. He’s coming cheaper on a week we might want to load up at the other positions. Running Backs Darrell Henderson Jr. FD 7700 DK 6500 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 20.3 DK - 22.37 Running backs in positive game scripts is the place to be and almost no one projects to have a better one than Henderson this week against the Texans. The Rams come in as -14 road favorites against Houston and Henderson is set to, once again, dominate the touches out of the backfield. He played 88% of the snaps in Week 7, totaling 21 touches (15 carries and six targets) even though the yards didn’t exactly rack up. Game Stack - Chiefs vs. Titans Patrick Mahomes FD 8800 DK 8400 Opponent TEN Proj Points FD - 25.6 DK - 26.14 Mecole Hardman FD 5400 DK 4300 Opponent TEN Proj Points FD - 7.79 DK - 9.57 Derrick Henry FD 11000 DK 9200 Opponent KC Proj Points FD - 23.45 DK - 24.87 It will be a full stars and scrubs build if game stacking the Titans and Chiefs this week as Henry and Mahomes, the two top plays in this game, are both at the top of the price range at their positions. This might lower their ownership a bit considering the difficulty building out the rest of the lineup but either way, this is a very high upside situation. Mahomes and the KC passing game face a Titans defense that is 27th in DVOA defense against the pass(via FantasyOutsiders) and rank 29th and 32nd in fantasy points against QB's and WR's respectively. While I would prefer to pair him with Kelce or Hill, it just isn't feasible if you want to run it back with Henry so I prefer Mecole Hardman in this spot. He is the WR2 for the Chiefs and has been trending up lately catching 13 of 17 targets for 138 yards over the last two weeks. On the other side of the ball, you have Derrick Henry who leads the league with an insane 29.7 touches and 153.5 scrimmage yards per game. He now faces a Chiefs defense that ranks 31st in DVOA defense vs. the rush. In a potential shootout, I want as much exposure to this game as possible and for GPP purposes, this is my favorite way to stack it without completely killing the rest of my lineup. The Ravens crushed the Chargers 34-6 and were so in control of the game that they simply didn’t need Jackson to do anything else. He only threw for 167 yards and a touchdown (Hollywood Brown dropped an easy one) and put up 51 yards on the ground. Again, it wasn’t anything to write home about, but he got scripted out of the game more than anything else. The Bengals have been better than advertised on defense this season, ranking in the top-10 in DVOA. But the way Lamar scores points, his floor is just safer than anyone else at the position on a game-to-game basis. Patrick Mahomes FD 8800 DK 8400 Opponent TENProj Points FD - 25.6 DK - 26.14 There is a case to pay all the way up for Mahomes here considering the game total, matchup, and the fact that he is Patrick Freakin Mahomes. He now ranks second on the season in DraftKings points per game behind only Derrick Henry. And we saw that the Chiefs are going to need to continue relying on the aerial game considering they ran for less than four yards per carry last week against the Washington Football Team. Mahomes is very expensive, but the Chiefs have a whopping 30.5 implied total coming in here. Running Backs Leonard Fournette FD 7000 DK 6400 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 18.57 DK - 20.63 We like to look for running backs as big home favorites as a starting place for cash games and Fournette definitely fits the bill there. The Bucs are -13 against the Bears coming into this game and Fournette has taken over RB1 duties for Tampa Bay. He’s played about 70% of the snaps for the Bucs over the last three weeks and has been pretty efficient when getting the ball. He’s averaging about 4.5 yards per carry in that stretch with more than five targets per game in the passing attack. The Bears have been a decent defense on the season, but Fournette is still underpriced for his role and the Bucs being such big favorites. Darrell Henderson Jr....
