Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 9200 DK 8300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 28 DK - 28 We are probably in a spot where we will need to spend up for quarterback this week, and that could leave us in something of a tricky spot. This game very much means something for the Eagles who are still fighting for the NFC East and get to face off against the dreadful Cardinals. It’s a dream spot, and Philly is -11.5 home favorites. He’s third among quarterbacks in rushing yards and second overall in the NFL in rushing touchdowns. The floor is just so, so high here and though the Cardinals don’t allow a ton of passing yards per game, it’s mostly because they are getting crushed on the ground. Patrick Mahomes FD 8000 DK 7500 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 24.23 DK - 24.23 If you watched the Chiefs play the Raiders last week, I would understand the hesitancy to play Mahomes in cash games this week. He was running for his life and completed only 61% of his passes for 235 total yards. But I think we can go back to the well here, considering he’s going against a Bengals’ defense, allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game and most passing yards per pass attempt. They are the dream spot for opposing quarterbacks and Mahomes has seen the price come down some. This is a smash spot in a place for the Chiefs to get right. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 11000 DK 9600 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 27.89 DK - 30.42 It is going to be tough rostering one of the expensive quarterbacks and also getting CMC into lineups. But there’s reason to try because McCaffrey is pushing up against historic levels now. He’s about 500 yards away from the yards-from-scrimmage record, which is a tough sell, but it’s still (just a little) plausible. He could also conceivably move into the top 10 in single-season touchdown scoring as well. Plus, he faces off against the Commanders, who completely stink, and the 49ers still need to win out for the playoffs. This is lining up basically perfectly for CMC. Kyren Williams FD 9400 DK 8300 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 23.32 DK - 25.44 The Kyren Williams usage remains among the best in the league and he’s touched the ball at least 22 times in each of the...

Quarterbacks Justin Fields FD 8300 DK 7100 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 23.16 DK - 23.16 It sure seems like Justin Fields is playing for his future as the Bears quarterback and we are happy to ride that through the final few weeks of the season. In Week 16, it works out perfectly with the Bears facing off against the Cardinals who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Fields was inefficient against the Browns last time out, but that was a significantly more difficult lift. In the previous three games, Fields had run 12, 12, and 18 times and gotten enough done through the air to really give him upside. He for sure has that this time out against Arizona and on the main slate is the best QB option. Kyler Murray FD 7600 DK 6400 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 19.85 DK - 19.85 Let’s go to the other side of the ball for our other cash game quarterback on this main slate. The Chicago Bears defense has been better lately, but I still like running with Kyler Murray here. He’s run 15 total times over the last two weeks, and last week got the pass attempts up to 39, completing them at a 67% rate. When it comes to the floor, Fields is higher because he just runs more, but Kyler is cheaper and in a good game environment for cash games. Consider Nick Mullens coming at just $5300 on DraftKings. Running Back Ty Chandler FD 6900 DK 5600 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 16.68 DK - 18.01 It looks like Alexander Mattison is going to sit again this week, and that should open up another week of huge opportunity for Ty Chandler. He played 81% of the snaps last time out, carrying the ball 23 times while also seeing four targets in the passing game. That accounted for 43% of the Vikings offensive plays. Minnesota is a 3.5 dog to the Lions this week, but the game’s 47-point total is the second-highest of the slate. We will want exposure here on both sides of the ball if possible. Zack Moss FD 6600 DK 6500 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 17.63 DK - 19.08 Zack Moss left the game very early last week and never returned. It was a massive bummer for a guy who was massive chalk on the Saturday slate. But...

Quarterbacks Brock Purdy FD 8400 DK 6800 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 21.3 DK - 21.3 Brock Purdy is in the MVP discussion for a reason, and he’s a fantastic cash game option again this week. While the FanDuel price is getting tough to fit, the DraftKings salary could make him a chalkier option once again. He’s averaged 314 passing yards per game over the last six weeks, and that even includes a 209-yard game mixed in there. He’s been unbelievably efficient, and the 49ers offense looks borderline unstoppable. The matchup against Arizona is one of the best around even with the Cardinals slightly better against the pass than the run. Jordan Love FD 8000 DK 6200 Opponent TBProj Points FD - 19.56 DK - 19.56 Jordan Love isn’t a name we might expect to see, but he draws such a good matchup that he needs to be in consideration for cash games on this slate. The Bucs are one of the worst pass defenses in the league this season and opponents have lit them up all year long. They rank among the worst in yards per pass attempt and passing yards allowed per game. Love has attempted 36 or more passes in four of the last five weeks, completing more than 65% during that stretch. He’ll also get out and run from time to time as well. The floor is high here because of the matchup and the DraftKings price makes him relatively easy to fit into lineups. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 10500 DK 9300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 27.39 DK - 29.92 I think that the cash game running back options are going to be pretty clear-cut on this main slate with the closer decisions coming at quarterback and wide receiver. Christian McCaffrey is in another amazing spot this week, facing off against an Arizona team that owns one of the worst defenses in football. The 49ers are huge -13.5 road favorites, and CMC hasn’t carried the ball fewer than 16 times in the last five weeks. Sure, the one target against the Seahawks is “concerning,” but his usage has been off the charts all season, and he comes here with a massive floor. Kyren Williams FD 9600 DK 7500 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 23.1 DK - 25.09 Few other running backs have the kind of opportunity Kyren Williams carries right now. That...

Quarterbacks Justin Fields FD 7900 DK 6800 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 20.56 DK - 20.56 The quarterbacks coming in the upper salary tier are basically all in great spots this week and it could be tough picking between and among them. Really, I could have written up anyone in this group and it would have been fine. From that perspective, we could see ownership spread out some on both sites. But I do think Justin Fields has one of the higher floors here in a home matchup against the Lions. From a floor perspective, Fields has one of the higher ones around. He runs a ton, averaging 12.25 rushes per game over his last four. He hasn’t found the end zone with all that time on the ground, though that could be something of an outlier. Plus, the Bears will air it out if playing from behind which could, for sure, be the case against Detroit here. I especially like the price on DraftKings coming sub-$7K. Brock Purdy FD 8100 DK 6500 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 20.51 DK - 20.51 Man, who has been better than this guy over the last four weeks? In that span. Brock Purdy has completed 74% of his passes and averaged 288 yards through the air. Plus he has 11 total touchdown passes. It’s been a fantastic run and has actually vaulted him up into the MVP discussion. Now, he’ll get another great matchup at home against the Seahawks with the 49ers coming in as -10.5 favorites. There was a bit of a struggle two weeks ago in this same matchup, but even with that you saw the numbers posted above. He’s coming off a major chalk week on DraftKings and that could be the case again. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 10500 DK 9200 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 24.67 DK - 27.25 It feels like one of the highest floor plays you can make this week is to stack Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey in cash and just let the 49ers offense take you all the way there. After all, this group has put up points in bunches, and really it’s looked pretty easy for them of late. When these teams played two weeks ago on Thanksgiving, Christian McCaffrey went for 114 yards on the ground and another 25 through the air. He finished with a couple of touchdowns,...

Stroud FD 8000 DK 8100 Opponent DENProj Points FD - 21.18 DK - 21.18 Another week, another chance to play CJ Stroud who has been one of the truly cool stories in the NFL this season. The 2nd overall pick is going to win Rookie of the Year and was even flirting (albeit prematurely) with the MVP odds as well. Now he’s a home favorite against the Broncos who, while better of late, still rank 25th in average yards per pass from opponents this season. This game has the second-highest total on the slate and for good reason. The Texans have been in shootouts and are clearly happy having Stroud sling it in games. The price has climbed with the performance so he is no longer a bargain. But he has a high floor all things considered. Kenny Pickett FD 6700 DK 5100 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 16 DK - 16 I can’t even believe I’m writing this but I think you need to take a strong look at Kenny Pickett in cash games on DraftKings this week. There is a lot working in his favor. For starters, in the first game without Matt Canada as OC in Pittsburgh, the Steelers put up over 400 yards of offense, something they hadn’t done, well, at all. Pickett threw 33 passes, going for 278 yards and scrambled five times as well. With the offense having a new look and the matchup against a Cardinals defense that’s among the worst in the league, rostering him at $5100 on DK is a (gasp) safe play. Running Back Zack Moss FD 5600 DK 4600 Opponent TENProj Points FD - 18.96 DK - 20.19 Jonathan Taylor is going to miss significant time with the bad thumb injury and that should but Zack Moss all the way back in the feature role for the Colts. Go back to Week 5 when Jonathan Taylor was just coming back and we saw Moss play 80% of the snaps and carry the ball 20 times with two targets. And the weeks before that it was roughly the same story. Moss was the guy and the Colts were fine leaning all the way in on his usage. That should be the case here against the Titans and the price isn’t anywhere close to where it should be for the opportunity. He is likely the highest-owned player...
