Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Leverage Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 17 The 2020 NFL season is now in full swing and the DFSR team has covered in every area. Earlier in the week, we covered Cash Game Plays, our Top Bets, and looked at Injury Report. Now let's take a look at a few possible low owned GPP plays based on some of the industry buzz and ownership projections. Keep in mind, these are not safe plays and are generally very boom or bust. Roster accordingly. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Running Back The Chalk - David Montgomery, Jonathan Taylor The Pivot Aaron Jones FD 8000 DK 7100 Opponent CHI Proj Points FD - 15.11 DK - 16.61 There is absolutely no safety here with Jones in Week 17 as not only is Williams coming back but AJ Dillon is coming off a breakout rookie performance, albeit in a blowout. With the Packers in a "win and take division title" scenario and Aaron Rodgers/Devante Adams on a complete rampage of the league, Jones is going to come in very low owned especially with chalk Montgomery on the other side and Jonathan Taylor for the Colts. There is a ton of risk here but he is more than capable of 100+ yards multiple touchdowns in this offense and is a terrific leverage play off the passing game in which we don't need a ton of exposure to take advantage. Quarterback The Chalk - Lamar Jackson, Ryan Tannehill, Aaron Rodgers The Pivot Josh Allen FD 8200 DK 7600 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 19.06 DK - 19.82 I am all aboard the risk train in GPP this week and this pick highlights that. The Bills are in great shape to capture the #2 seed but would lose it with a loss and Steelers win so I see them playing the starters here and that is great news as they are likely very low owned. Allen is having an MVP-like season and comes into this one red-hot throwing for 320+ yards in three of his last four games with a total of 14 touchdowns(12 passing, 2 rushing). It helps he has one of the best wideouts in the league in Stefon Diggs who I will be stacking him with this week. With Cole Beasley out, I will also be looking at value with Gabriel Davis and Dawson Know. The matchup is a tougher one as the Dolphins rank 5th in DVOA defense vs. the pass and 7th...

Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 9000 DK 8000 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 26.81 DK - 27.39 The Ravens need to win their Week 17 game to get into the playoffs and have one of the easiest paths to getting it done. They are 13-point favorites against the lowly Bengals and should lean heavily on Lamar Jackson to take care of business early and often in this game. Over the last four weeks he’s really turned the fantasy production back on to the levels we saw in last season’s MVP campaign. Since Week 12, he’s the second-best fantasy per game quarterback, averaging 29.2 DraftKings points thanks in large part to some huge rushing weeks. I doubt the Ravens stop what’s been working over the last four weeks, all wins. Jackson is expensive but is arguably the safest play here. Ryan Tannehill FD 8200 DK 7000 Opponent HOU Proj Points FD - 23.61 DK - 24.5 Jackson has an easy path to the playoffs, but the Titans might not be too far behind them. Tennessee needs a win over Houston to advance and the latter comes in with the third-worst defense on the season. Plus, this game has the week’s highest over/under (56.5) with the Titans -6.5 road favorites. Tannehill is coming off of a brutal week passing in bad conditions in Green Bay but did manage 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The passing yards can come and go, but Houston’s defense is so brutal that Tannehill is in play. And Deshaun Watson is good enough to turn the game into a shootout. It’s worth noting that Tannehill’s best game of the season was against these Texans when he put up 366 yards and four touchdowns in an overtime win. Daniel Jones FD 7000 DK 5100 Opponent DAL Proj Points FD - 20.54 DK - 21.47 Like we said, a big theme of this week will be teams with something to play for and that’s most definitely the case with the Giants who can get into the playoffs with a win over the Cowboys and a Washington loss. But the latter won’t be decided until later in the evening. So rest assured, the Giants will want to keep their foot on the gas. One of Jones’s biggest superlatives here is that he’s cheap in...

START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!   James and Doug are back to break down every game on the main slate of FanDuel and DraftKings for week 16. It's a strange week, with a lot of unknowns heading into the holiday weekend. We're hoping that teams and reporters are as sharp with reporting as usual, but that's certainly not clear at this point. For starters, a lot of viable DFS offenses are going up against tough defenses, and when you combine that with the fact that it's a shorter slate than usual the pickings are somewhat slim. The guys have their eye on the KC/ATL game, which should be a shootout that also has some injury implications. The potential absence of Julio Jones and/or Tyreek Hill could open up some serious DFS value. Some other great teams to target this week include Chicago and Houston, and after that there appears to be a significant fall off. There are a number of total stay-away teams, like the Jets, Jaguars, Bengals, Giants, and Broncos. There are teams with reasonable skill options with no consistent plan for getting them the ball in Philly, Dallas, and Carolina. The Rams/Seahawks has a high total, but the last two times these teams met it amounted to precious little fantasy production. Tune in as Doug and James try to find the diamonds in the rough in a tough week 16 of NFL DFS. Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts. DFS NFL Podcast – Week 16 cash game podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 16 cash game podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Enjoy our week 16 NFL cash game podcast, where Doug and James take an early look at cash game plays for NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL, NHL and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!   There are a lot of interesting questions for cash games this week, starting at quarterback. Can we start Jalen Hurts after two good weeks, or should we be concerned about the low completion percentage? Would Deshaun Watson just be a safer play at similar prices? Is it insane to go super-cheap at QB on DK and play Trubisky? The guys weigh the pros and cons of each. Running back features two easy plays in David Montgomery and Le'Veon Bell, but after that, there are a number of situations to keep an eye on. You've got the potential absence of Ezekiel Elliott, a bizarre QB situation in WAS (which impacts JD McKissic), and more. You'll want to tune in tomorrow for an in-depth look at the position on a game by game basis. Wide receiver has good plays at every price point, as usual, with headliners like Calvin Ridley and Tyreek Hill, mid-range options like Brandin Cooks and Jarvis Landry, and even some punt plays lurking in LA if Keenan Allen sits. Tight end requires us to think about whether Travis Kelce has become too expensive, or if we can tolerate a mid-range option like Logan Thomas, Hunter Henry, or Noah Fant. All in all it's another interesting week. Enjoy! Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts. Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16 Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 8200 DK 7000 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 23.35 DK - 24.19 From a fantasy perspective, Jalen Hurts has had about as good a two-game stretch as any quarterback in their first two games under center. In the first one he got out into the open field against the Saints and put up 106 yards on the ground. Then, in Week 15 against the Cardinals, he really turned things on with an absolute slate-breaker. He threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 63 yards and touchdown on the ground. His 40.8 DraftKings points were the 7th-best quarterback game on the season. Now he’ll face a Dallas defense ranked 25th in DVOA this season. Hurts’s price has come up considerably, but it’s only in line with the awesome performance. He’s still a high floor play in this tier. Deshaun Watson FD 8500 DK 7600 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 24 DK - 24.75 Since Week 11, Deshaun Watson is your QB2 in terms of average DraftKings scoring and he’s really only a few decimal points behind Josh Allen. The dude has just been elite, throwing for more than 300 yards in four of his last five games while averaging more than 30 yards on the ground. He’ll get a choice matchup against the Bengals who rank 29th in DVOA on defense this season and are much worse against the run than the pass. Don’t let the win over the Steelers fool you either, this is still very much a bad team. It’s close between Watson and Hurts for me in this upper tier. Watson does feel a bit safer because of the historical track record, but you do have to pay just a bit more. Mitchell Trubisky FD 7200 DK 5700 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 18.91 DK - 19.72 If you’re looking for a cost-saving measure on DraftKings old Mitch might be the way to go. Since taking back over for Nick Foles four weeks ago Trubisky has been fantasy serviceable. He’s been around middle of the pack on a DraftKings points per game basis, putting up 18.9/game in that stretch. The good news is the efficiency has really been there, especially over the last three weeks completing 74% of his passes with a 5:1 TD:Int rate. And this...
