As you'll see, banking on usage bumps is going to be the key focus of this article and it's going to be imperative to pair up the superstars with the role players who see major bumps. Point Guard Jeff Teague FD - $6200 DK - $5100Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 32.87 DK - 32.83 Teague has always been a consistent point guard but it's always been a matter of health. Considering that he's healthy now, we have to love him at this discounted price. Not only did he drop 33 DK points in his return to the lineup, he's also now averaging 28.7 DK points per game for the season. That's really all we can ask for from such a cheap player and he could be asked to do even more here with Andrew Wiggins potentially missing this game. The matchup is simply a bonus, with the Rockets ranked second in pace and 24th in total defense. Kendrick Nunn FD - $5400 DK - $5800Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 29.01 DK - 29.57 Nunn has been a revelation this season, averaging better than 5x points per dollar on these prices, and that's not even taking into consideration that his minutes and usage are at an all time high right now. In his last two games Nunn has averaged 21.5/4/6.5 and 2 steals. And today he gets a fantastic match-up with New Orleans, who pair the league's fastest pace with the 3rd worst defensive efficiency. I love Nunn in any format. Aaron Holiday had increased time of possession after Brogdon went down last night, and if he's actually running the point tonight he is a tremendous value. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $12700 DK - $12200Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 63.42 DK - 66.21 Harden is a good play on every single slate but this one it's impossible to fade him....

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11200 DK - $10000Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 56.19 DK - 60.23Is there anything more fun than Luka Doncic's sophmore season? The Mavs' young superstar as improved appreciably in every category this season, from his raw counting stats to his FG and FT percentages. If there is one criticism you can level, it's that he probably takes too many threes for a 32% shooter from deep. Do we care for our DFS purposes? Heck no! Shoot away, Luka. Today Doncic gets a terrific match-up against the hapless Knicks, and a potential blowout is the only thing that stands in the way of him easily paying value here. Ricky Rubio FD - $7700 DK - $7400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 44.76 DK - 45.23I have never really believed that Rubio could warrant a near $8k salary, but I believe it wholly these days. He seems to have found the perfect system for his style in Phoenix, as he's asked to distribute, but is surrounded by enough shooting that it covers his own deficiencies in that area. He and Booker are a very complimentary duo, and Monty Williams seems to agree, as the duo played 77 combined minutes against the Lakers. Booker's price has come up a bit,but I think Rubio is still cheap enough to run as a value option on both sites. Also considered: Frank Ntilikina, if you think the Knicks hang well enough for him to get his minutes. Shooting Guard Lou Williams FD - $7000 DK - $7700Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 45.39 DK - 47.34 With Kawhi Leonard likely sitting the second half of a back-to-back on Thursday it should be (mostly) the Lou Williams show. I say mostly because with Paul George reentering the fray that should cut down some on Lou-Will's insane (37%) usage rate with Leonard off the court this season. That being said, I don't think we see an overwhelming amount of minutes for PG who's likely still working his way back from a conditioning standpoint. Williams will likely be one of the chalkier plays on this slate. Deandre Bembry FD - $4400 DK...

They go game-by-game through the slate discussing the various DFS options and looking how some injury news could effect the overall value of the slate. It looks like some huge names are going to be on the pine for Wednesday's games. Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis could both sit the second half of back-to-backs while we always need to monitor Kawhi Leonard's status when it's a back-to-back. And that's only some of it. We also have the Raptors starters playing insane minutes without Kyle Lowry and O.G. Anunoby and the Celtics without Gordon...

Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $9900 DK - $8900Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 51.11 DK - 52.39 No Eric Gordon and no Danuel House and the already kind of thin Rockets are looking even thinner. If he can avoid foul trouble, which has been no easy thing and if the game can stay out of blowout (also not easy for Rockets) then we could see Russ drift towards 36-37 minutes in this game against the Clippers. The rebounding has dropped off some of late for him which could be a shift in philosophy for the Rockets or could merely be a blip on the radar. It’s a little tough to tell though he has played fewer minutes of late because of weird game script stuff. He’s still racking up steals in a big way and I do think the floor is very high in this game for Westbrook because of the Houston injuries. Terry Rozier FD - $7000 DK - $5600Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 34.73 DK - 35.58 It’s been an up and down season for the disaster contract the Hornets signed Rozier to in the offseason. He’s basically paid like a max player who is priced more like mid-tier role guy. And that’s fine because his contract is of no concern to us. We only really sweat the performance relative to price. And on that front, there is stuff to like about Rozier on Wednesday. For starters, he’ll face a Memphis team playing the 23rd ranked defensive efficiency on the season. Couple that with some peak and valley games out of Rozier because of the minutes and I do think you are getting him at something of a value. Per 33 minutes he’s averaging 15/4.6/3.8 and is actually running bad from the field of late, hitting only 27% of his threes over the last five games. This is a fine price, especially on DraftKings. Other Thoughts If Joel Embiid sits, Ben Simmons (FD 8400 DK 6800) would make a very nice DraftKings play at that price. Shooting Guard Fred Vanvleet FD - $7500 DK - $7100Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 40.07 DK - 41.18 No...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 11/12/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 11/12/19 An eight-game NBA slate has bunch of fantasy intrigue, some injury situations to monitor and a couple of buy-low spots on DraftKings and FanDuel. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $8700 DK - $7600Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 45.48 DK - 48 The Pacers have been brutalized by injuries this season but it’s only meant fantasy upticks across the board for Brogdon who’s looking very much like a player the Bucks wouldn’t mind having back. Even struggling from the field in two of his last three games, Brogdon is putting up about 21 points per game along with nine assists and five rebounds. Getting Sabonis back in the lineup helps the two-man game and his minutes floor is as high as any point guard in the game (not named Lillard). Point guard is full of question marks leading into Tuesday’s action so we’ll need to wade through some of the news leading into lock. But Brogdon looks very much like a DraftKings play at sub-$8K even in a less-than-ideal matchup against the Thunder. Cory Joseph FD - $3700 DK - $3700Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 29.49 DK - 29.35 It was announced on Monday that De'Aaron Fox would miss significant time due to injury and that means we’ll likely get a ton of (very chalky) minutes out of Cory Joseph here on Tuesday. He’s never been a dynamic fantasy guy dating back to even his time in Indiana, but this is too good an opportunity to pass up. I’m assuming he draws the start over Yogi Ferrell of course, but either way I think CoJo is the play here on Monday. He did come in and run more with the starters when Fox went down last game and put up nine points and four assists. As a near-minimum play here he’ll see heavy ownership against the Blazers who are allowing opposing backcourts to score at will this season. Raul Neto FD - $5700 DK - $4800Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 29.21 DK - 29.81 The price corrected on FanDuel so I don’t think he’s a play there, but the DraftKings salary is looking ok for cash games. He’s...
