Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8000 DK - $8700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 45.22 DK - 44.84 Shake Milton FD - $4300 DK - $5400Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 24.24 DK - 24.98 Technically, the Sixers have listed Simmons as playing their full-time power forward, but that’s not exactly a perfect description of how they are using him now. It’s definitely a hybrid role that has the ball in his hands at the top of high sets and still facilitating the offense to a certain degree. In the first game he piled on a 19 point, 13 rebound, four assist game against the Pacers. He struggled against the Spurs in the second game, but got burned off hard because of foul trouble. The matchup against the Wizards is too good to pass up at these prices though. A heavy transition game should help him and he’s simply coming too cheap. Meanwhile Milton has had a similar tale of two games with his own games. He was terrible against the Pacers but pulled it back around against the Spurs hitting the game-winner and finishing with 16 points and five rebounds. He, like Simmons, is coming too cheap for the opportunity and opponent. Dejounte Murray FD - $6500 DK - $6000Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 33.34 DK - 32.67 He got run off minutes in the first Spurs’ restart game because of foul trouble, but the second two haven’t been any problem in that department with Murray running 34 and 29 respectively. His fantasy gift is contributing across every part of the stat line which considerably raises his floor and makes the ceiling up there as well. He put up a 21 point and 10 rebound game against the Grizz, with 13 points and 6 rebounds against the very long Sixers. He’ll now face an undermanned Denver team. I think the minutes stay in the low 30’s and it’s hard to imagine him hurting you at these prices outside...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 8/4/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 8/4/20 NBA's restart has been nothing but great basketball action. Let's talk Tuesday's picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $9600 DK - $9400Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 55.13 DK - 58.33 It’s unlikely, but the Rockets still have an outside shot at the two seed in the West, now trailing the Clippers by three games. And from the start of this thing, they’ve been going for it beating both the Mavericks and the Bucks. Westbrook is averaging 31 points, eight assists and eight rebounds though the first two, though one of those was an OT game. He’s still a relative value against the Blazers and this game has an absurd 243.5 over under, by far the highest of the day. It’s going to be a tough game to fade and stacking the Houston backcourt feels like a great way to start. Chris Chiozza FD - $4000 DK - $5300Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 25.54 DK - 25.44 Tyler Johnson FD - $4000 DK - $6600Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 20.93 DK - 21.3 The Nets had already basically decided to/ been forced to punt the restart. But they are taking it to a new (low) level on Tuesday with Caris LeVert, Joe Harris and Jarrett Allen all having been ruled out for this game against the Bucks. They might lose by 100. But someone has to play the minutes, especially in the backcourt. And that run should go to Tyler Johnson and Chris Chiozza. The former started for the latter on Sunday, but I suspect they both run the one and two on Tuesday. Again, the Nets are going to get obliterated, but I do think 30ish minutes for each even in a blowout is reasonable. And they are coming cheap. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11100 DK - $11300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 57.95 DK - 60.77 Like I said with Westbrook, this game is where we are going to start and stop with cash based almost solely on the total. Harden dropped a 49 point, nine rebound, eight rebound OT game against Dallas but struggled against the Bucks (even in...

Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $5700 DK - $6200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 32.37 DK - 31.95 Derrick White FD - $5900 DK - $5700 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 30.72 DK - 30.5 The Spurs point guards each had around 50% ownership on Sunday, and had these prices paid through three quarters. It won't be quite as easy as it came against Memphis, but the opportunity should be there in spades given San Antonio's banged up back court. Monte Morris FD - $4000 DK - $5000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 27.6 DK - 27.43 With Jamal Murray currently listed as "very questionable" for this game, it's important to highlight Morris as potentially one of the best FanDuel plays on the day. Morris didn't wow the crowdless arena against the Heat, but he still paid his price regardless. You'd almost have to think that game represented his floor, with plenty of starters losing minutes as the game got out of hand. The DraftKings price makes it pretty close over there, but I'm happy to double down on FanDuel. Also considered: De'Aaron Fox. Shooting Guard Fred Vanvleet FD - $6600 DK - $ Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 35.25 DK - 35.8 Nobody gave the Raptors the memo that these bubble games aren't super meaningful for them, as they ran VanVleet out there for 40 minutes in regulation against the Lakers on Saturday. He put together a balanced 13/5/11 line en route to 38.4 FanDuel pointsin a brutal match-up with the Lakers, and while the Heat aren't a great match-up (bottom 5 pace, top 12 defensive efficiency) they can't be worse than the Lakers. This game rates to be a highly contested match-up of two of the East's best teams, and VanVleet is a heavy favorite to get huge run again, giving him one of the highest floors at the position. Victor Oladipo FD - $5500 DK - $5900 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 38.44 DK - 40.27 Oladipo was supposed to be limited to 28 minutes going into Saturday's game, but wound up playing 32 in a nail...

Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $6300 DK - $7200 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 31.63 DK - 32.15 Ja Morant FD - $7500 DK - $7300 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 36.98 DK - 38.21 I list Rubio and Morant together here because I like them differently depending on what site you're playing. Rubio is the cheaper option on FanDuel, of course, and Morant is probably just a better DFS player overall, so you'll take him at a similar price on DraftKings. Both looked excellent on a points per dollar basis in their first game back from the league being suspended, with Morant finding almost 45 fantasy points after the Portland game went to overtime. But both guys are just flat out value plays. Rubio averaged 34 fantasy points this season, and stands to get more run than usual in this 8 game sprint. Morant has hopped right back into his full rotation, playing an excellent 35 minutes in regulation en route to an eventual double double. Both guys have high floors, but I'll be price shopping depending on the site. De'Aaron Fox FD - $7700 DK - $7900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 44.07 DK - 44.26 Orlando was a tough DFS match-up this season, playing a bottom 5 pace with a top 10 defensive efficiency this season, so we're not running Fox for the match-up here. It's just a straight up value play. In the San Antonio game Fox looked like he had been spending the last 4 months dreaming of scoring 100 points in an NBA game, as he lofted a career high 33 shots. That's 9 more shots than he's ever taken into a single game. I'll assume there will be some regression there, but if he is taking on any kind of expanded role he'll be a value until the sites correct for it. Also considered: Lillard and Westbrook as big money options. Westbrook has a fast paced game with the Bucks, and Lillard is still shouldering plenty of the Trail Blazers' offense in spite of them getting healthier. Shooting Guard Caris Levert FD - $7800 DK - $7800...

The Denver Nuggets have already ruled out Gary Harris and Will Barton, and Jamal Murray is currently listed as questionable. You'll want to monitor this situation closely since a ton of value will inevitably open up. Some of those options might not be too exciting, like Torrey Craig, but Denver is looking pretty unpredictable for their first game in the bubble. Point Guard Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $5400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 31.63 DK - 33.05 After a super weird beginning to the season, Conley was just finding his stride before the season was suspended. Since February Conley has been essentially automatic for 30+ fantasy points, exceeding that total in 9 out of he 12 games where he played 30+ minutes. In his first game back against the Pelicans he scored 31.2 fantasy points in 33 minutes, and that's indicative of his performance going forward he's 10% too cheap on FanDuel and arguably more than that on DraftKings. I love him as a cash game staple even against a touch OKC defense. Reggie Jackson FD - $4100 DK - $4100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 27.57 DK - 29.4 Unless we get word that Beverley is scheduled for a huge bump in minutes, Jackson looks criminally cheap in one of the best possible bubble match-ups in New Orleans. He played 34 minutes against the Lakers, and while he didn't go crazy, you'd have to think that the 19.2 FanDuel points he grabbed against the Lakers is something like his floor. He's not going to be the centerpiece of the offense by any means, and there is risk of Beverley assuming a bigger role at some point soon, but I think we get one more good value game out of him before both his price rises and Beverley returns to his full form. Shake Milton has won the starting role, and is way too cheap on FanDuel. On DraftKings his new role is already priced in. He's probably a safer play on FD than Reggie Jackson though. Also considered: Aaron Holiday, if Victor Oladipo winds up missing...
