Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11200 DK - $11000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 58.39 DK - 61.4 Luka has been utterly dominant recently, cresting over 77 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. He's a rebound in one game and an assist in another game from getting a triple double in his last five games. Toronto, meanwhile, has lapsed from one of the toughest defensive match-up to a totally reasonable one. The Raptors are playing a top 8 pace with a defensive efficiency that ranks in the bottom half of the league. Luka is a premier pay-up option on a night where finding value is going to be tough. Jrue Holiday FD - $7600 DK - $7200Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 37.7 DK - 36.85 It's the game with by far the highest total on the slate, and with Kyrie potentially returning for this one you could see one of the worst defensive back-courts in recent memory between Irving and Harden. Holiday has been contributing across the board recently, and racking up defensive stats in just the way the Bucks hoped he would, with at least a block and two steals in each of his last five games. In what should be a tight game, he should be on lock for his entire run of minutes as well. Also considered: Trey Burke, if Hardaway winds up sitting again. Shooting Guard Zach LaVine FD - $9300 DK - $9500Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 45.48 DK - 46.62 Some of the shine comes off this play now that Oladipo has been ruled in, but LaVine is still by far the most attractive shooting guard play on the board. He's a classic DFS play that you can't judge by his year to date stats since he'll play a lot more minutes in close games than in blowouts. While there's no line on this game at the moment, it should be a competitive one between LaVine's Bulls and what's left of the Rockets. LaVine has quietly improved across the board this season, improving his shooting percentage, rebounds, and assists while playing roughly the same number of minutes. While he's...

Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8300 DK - $8600Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 42.41 DK - 41.84 Ben Simmons had a rough night on Saturday without Joel Embiid playing 36 minutes and turning the ball over seven times. He put up a complete(ish) line with nine points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists but the turnovers and lack of scoring did kind of kill him on the prices. I’m looking for a bounce-back here against OKC who plays at a league-average pace and defensive efficiency as well. Without the 76ers main driver of offense we are still buying guys on the team at relative value. De'Aaron Fox FD - $7300 DK - $7900Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 39.91 DK - 40.07 He played on something of a minutes limit on Friday but it's tough to tell if that was an injury thing or just because the Kings got blown out. I do think he’s set to see minutes in the mid 30’s in this matchup which would put him firmly in the cash game territory. On average, Fox is playing less than last season and it’s shown with him scoring and assisting less than 2020. But some of that is wonky with the minutes and I do think some of that is fit to regress as the rest of the season goes on and he plays more. Especially on FanDuel, Fox is still a cash play. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $8700 DK - $9500Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 41.82 DK - 44.34 Paul George has spent the beginning part of this season trying to erase some of the stink on him from the playoffs last season. At least to start, it’s kind of working. He’s scoring 25 points per game (second-highest of his career) while shooting 50% from three on more than eight attempts per game. The 5.2 assists per game are also a career-high. And he’s logging major minutes, more than 37 per game over his last seven. It sure looks like the floor is high enough. I like him better on FanDuel where he’s still coming a bit too cheap for the production. Shai...

Point Guard Trae Young FD - $8800 DK - $8900Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 46.72 DK - 49.85 Young is coming off a terrible Friday night game against the Jazz, but we aren’t going to make judgments over just one performance. Trae hasn’t had the best start to the season shooting under 30% from three and scoring *just* 25 point per game. The expectations were higher than this to start the season and this isn’t in line with what we thought would happen. Some of this has to do with some personnel and the ancillary pieces playing better than last season. But some of it also run bad. I think we can buy at these prices considering Portland is one of the worst defenses in the league and they are playing at a top-10 pace. Delon Wright FD - $5500 DK - $4900Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 27.53 DK - 27.11 Delon’s numbers of late haven’t looked amazing in certain respects but he’s starting and playing a lot of minutes. Over the last three games, with Killian Hayes on the shelf, Wright has run an average of 34 minutes. He’s putting up 10 shots per game but has been real bad from the field shooting only 33%. That inconsistency isn’t likely to continue and I still think we are buying low. The seven rebounds per game are consistent and he’s also putting up five assists. If the shooting comes around, this is a high floor play. Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $6500 DK - $7200Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 33.82 DK - 35.56 As of this writing, Herro was listed questionable along with a number of different Heat players. The team is a mess of Covid concerns right now which we need to take into mind. But there’s not doubt, in the short term with Miami ailing, Herro has taken control of the offense. He’s averaging 21 shots per game over the last three and putting up 27 points per game. Dude has also grabbed eight rebounds per game in that span. The FanDuel price is a joke if the Heat are thin players again and the...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 1/15/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 1/15/21 This has been one of the craziest NBA weeks I've ever seen. It would be one thing to have a blockbuster trade between three teams but that doesn't even take into consideration that we have postponements every night. For this slate, we have two games postponed already, with the Washington-Detroit and Golden State-Phoenix games both off the slate. There could be more coming and there could be more players that miss because of COVID protocols, so do your due diligence in checking all the news before submitting lineups. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $8800 DK - $8700 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 45.16 DK - 48.19 We at DFSR believe that this pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Trae was closer to $10,000 throughout most of last season and we're going to have heavy exposure to him if he remains below $9K on both sites. We're talking about a guy who averaged 48 DraftKings points per game last year and is sitting at a 43-point average this season. The main reason for the small drop off was a wrist injury early on but dropping 45 fantasy points across just 25 minutes in the most recent game shows that he's just fine. Having a few days off is a treat too and Utah's defense isn't as scary as it used to be. Coby White FD - $6400 DK - $7400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 33.72 DK - 36.19 Many people had White pegged as a breakout with the Bulls this season and they are looking right so far. This dude has been balling out in his sophomore season, averaging 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Those are incredible averages from a kid and one has to believe he'll continue to improve as the season progresses. He's been doing that recently, scoring at least 38 DraftKings points in four of his last five games en route to a 36-point average. We love all that against a 17th-ranked Thunder defense. Eflrid Payton is still just $5,700 on FanDuel and that's way too cheap. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $8800 DK - $9400 Opponent - SAC Proj...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 1/14/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 1/14/21 If all the COVID craziness wasn't enough, let's throw in a few teams that made a blockbuster trade. That means we have Miami and Philly missing numerous players due to COVID protocols while Indiana and Houston are shorthanded because of the monster trade they made on Wednesday. That means there's a ton of value on this slate and a lot is going to change before tip. With that in mind, keep your eye on things as closely as possible! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $8600 DK - $8300 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 45.92 DK - 47.26 Brogdon is a regular in these articles and that proves that we're doing something right. So far this year, the Virginia product is averaging 22.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. That equates to 44 DraftKings points per game which means Brogdon is about $500 too cheap. What's equally as impressive is his floor, scoring at least 32 DK points in all 11 games this year. That floor should be even higher here, with Victor Oladipo being traded and T.J. Warren dealing with an injury. We haven't even discussed the best part of this play, with the Trail Blazers ranked 25th in total defense so far this year. LaMelo Ball FD - $7800 DK - $7600 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 39.47 DK - 39.9 This kid is an early frontrunner for Rookie of the Year with his amazing play and he's been doing serious damage despite coming off the bench and not playing a ton. In fact, Ball is averaging 35 fantasy points per game across 25 minutes a night. That's an incredible rate and one would have to believe his minutes and usage will only creep up as the season progresses. That doesn't even take into consideration that Gordon Hayward will likely sit here after getting injured on Wednesday, giving Ball the usage increase that we've been waiting for. We're certainly not worried about him facing a Toronto team that ranks 21st in defensive efficiency either. We also like Edmond Sumner and Aaron Holiday at their cheap price tags with Victor Oladipo and...
