FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 3/19/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 3/19/21 This marks my final article of the week, and we've been on quite the heater. Thursday was frustrating with two of our guys getting unexpectedly ruled out, but that's the nature of this game sometimes. The good news here is that we have most of the injury news already had of us, making things a little easier. The Warriors will be the most interesting team to watch with two studs likely out, and that's a team you guys need to keep an eye on closer to the opening tip. Delon hovered closer to $7,000 before getting injured right before the break, and he's earned every bit of that price tag recently. In the 21 games before his leg injury, Wright averaged over 31 DraftKings points per game. You'd assume that his numbers are down with this price tag, but he's actually got at least 32 fantasy points in each of his last three games, flirting with a 40-point average in that span. What makes the pricing even more egregious is this matchup, with Houston owning one of the worst defensive efficiency ratings in their current 18-game losing streak. Tomas Satoransky FD - $4400 DK - $4400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 24.43 DK - 25.01 Talk about some mispricing. Somebody at DraftKings and FanDuel needs to let the numbers guys know that Sato is the starting point guard in Chicago. That has allowed him to record seven assists in three-straight games, averaging 29 DK points per game in that span. How often do you see a starting point guard averaging nearly 30 DK points per game priced at $4,400? The answer is never, and it's clear that he's usurped Coby White on the totem pole. What makes it less surprising is that Tomas averaged 25 fantasy points per game in this role last season. Denver isn't too shabby of a matchup either, owning a 16th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. If you want to pay up, Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 3/18/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 3/18/21 We crushed Tuesday's article with guys like Damian Lillard, Tomas Satoransky, Moses Brown, Brandon Ingram, and John Collins and Wednesday appears to be off to a nice start. This second half has been a lot better to us in general, with not as much late-breaking news killing our lineups (knock on wood!). We have another great slate here and a lot to discuss, though, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $5400 DK - $5800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 26.69 DK - 27.18 Rubio has always been overlooked for fantasy purposes because of his lack of scoring, but this dude has been awesome recently. What's made him valuable is that Minnesota is so shorthanded in the backcourt, playing without Jordan McLaughlin, D'Angelo Russell, and Malik Beasley. That leaves Rubio as the primary ball-handler, leading to his best stretch of the season. He's now scored at least 21 fantasy points in 18 of his last 20 games while averaging 28 fantasy points per game in that span. He actually has a 34-point average over his last five fixtures, and that makes him hard to fade below $6K. Rubio happens to have some of his best career numbers against the Suns, too, averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in 23 meetings with them. Michael Carter-Williams FD - $4700 DK - $5700 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 27.66 DK - 28.33 Is it 2015? Rubio and MCW as our point guard recommendations feels like a weird start but these two are in great spots right now. Carter-Williams has benefited just like Rubio, gaining the starting PG position in Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony's absences. Since taking over this role 13 games ago, MCW has at least 18 fantasy points in each of those en route to a 25-point average. That makes the $4,700 price tag on FanDuel criminal, especially when you see Carter-Williams' 28-point average over the last five games. New York happens to be missing Elfrid Payton at point guard, too, and he's their defensive stopper at that position. Damian Lillard was our highlight player on...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 3/17/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/17/21 If this first week of the second half is any indicator of what's to come, we're in for a crazy final three months. The good news is that we haven't had any COVID breakouts recently, and that makes our jobs a little easier. We do have a ton of close games expected on this slate, though, and that's a pleasant surprise with so many blowouts seemingly every night. There's a lot to discuss, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Delon Wright FD - $5400 DK - $5800 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 32.97 DK - 32.26 Wright has been a favorite of mine all season long, and it's peculiar to see him remain below $6,000. We say that because he averaged 32 DraftKings points per game in the 21 games before getting injured. We'd understand the price drop if he was struggling, but he has at least 30 fantasy points in two of his three games since returning. That's really all you can hope for from a sub-$6K player, and he's going to do more ball-handling than ever with Blake Griffin in Brooklyn and Dennis Smith Jr sidelined. The matchup with Toronto isn't too bad either, with the Raptors ranked 17th in defensive efficiency while surrendering a triple-double to DSJ in Detroit's last matchup with Toronto. Tomas Satoransky FD - $3900 DK - $3800 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 24.66 DK - 25.47 Strangely, Chicago has benched youngsters like Coby White and Wendell Carter Jr, but two wins with this new lineup is certainly an encouraging sign. The biggest bump went to Sato here, starting at PG for Chicago. He actually averaged 25 fantasy points per game in that role last season and has collected 23 points, eight rebounds, 14 assists, four steals, and two blocks combined in his first two games in this role. That means he's scored at least 30 fantasy points in both of those, which is truly absurd from a player below $4,000. The matchup isn't terrible either, with San Antonio owning a 27th OPRK against opposing PGs this year. Derrick White has at least 40 fantasy points in two...

Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $6700 DK - $7400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 41.6 DK - 42.98 I'm assuming that FanDuel's pricing alogrithm just broke down on this one, as Brogdon is priced at something like a 15% discount to his pe game season averages. This isn't a great match-up with the Nuggets thanks to their slow pace, but in spite of their personnel they've been basically a league average fantasy match-up this season. It will be tough for him to pop off for big tournament purposes, but in cash games he seems like a fantastic inclusion. Jrue Holiday FD - $5800 DK - $6500 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 35.35 DK - 35.13 Now here's some value we can sink our teeth into. The Bucks were easing Holiday back into things until last game, when Jrue played 32 minutes against these same Wizards. Holiday poured in a balanced 38 FanDuel points in that one, and there's room to grow against the Wiz, who pair the league's fastest pace with its fourth-worst defensive efficiency. Holiday's price will climb after this one, so I'm happy to cash in while the getting is good. Luka Doncic is a terrific cash game play if you find value elsewhere. Shooting Guard Caris Levert FD - $4100 DK - $7000 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 37.57 DK - 38.45 LeVert played well in his first game back from kidney surgery, going for 13/7/2 in 26 minutes of play. He's not on a strict minute limit right now, so we could see his minutes and opportunity ramp up quickly. He's a steal on these prices on FanDuel (read: he could be 90%+ owned), though I wouldn't risk it on DraftKings. Andrew Wiggins FD - $5600 DK - $5900 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 33.11 DK - 33.35 Wiggins is another straightforward value play at these prices. He's been playing 35+ minute rotation in close games, and given that Vegas sees this as a 2.5 point game, he should get his full run here for sure. Wiggins has hit 25 fantasy points in every game where he's played...

Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9900 DK - $10300Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 55.89 DK - 58.71 We wrote up Lillard yesterday and he was a pretty popular cash-game option on FanDuel. That looks like it should be the case again on Sunday with the Trailblazers running on the back-to-back again against the Timberwolves. On Saturday, they put 125 points in the win and we could be looking at a similar total considering the Minnesota defense remains one of the worst in the league. Lillard dropped 25 points and 10 assists though did struggle from the field some shooting just 7-19 and 3-10 from three. With CJ McCollum out one more game, it should be Dame time once again. Tomas Satoransky FD - $3500 DK - $3200Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 25.63 DK - 26.6 It was announced on Saturday night that Satoransky would take over the starting duties at point guard for the Bulls, sending Coby White to the bench. It’s a great time to buy low on the guard who is coming at near-minimum prices on both sites. Point guard is a bit loaded which could make the decision on FanDuel a little tougher, but on DraftKings Satoransky is a clear cash game option considering the new opportunity and the very low price tag. Kyle Lowry (FD 8400 DK 8600) is once again in play with the Raptors remaining very shorthanded. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $7800 DK - $8100Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 47.74 DK - 50.06 Paul George is still something of a bargain on both sites and the Clippers have shown that in close games he’ll run major minutes. Considering the nature of this team, they really do need his offense these days. George is having an excellent statistical season, shooting 45% from three on almost eight attempts per game and averaging 24 points, six rebounds, and five assists. After starting out ok to begin the season, the Pelicans have dropped to the third-worst defense in the league this season. They aren’t running a fast pace, but the issues on the defensive end are real. There’s a reason this game has the highest total of...
