Pitchers Kyle Wright FD 10500 DK 9900 Opponent - SF (Alex Wood) Park - SF FD - 36.12 DK - 19.6 After three to four years of steady trips back and forth between AAA and Atlanta, Kyle Wright seems to have found his spot in the Braves rotation. Even coming off a bad start where he gave up five earned runs, he still enters Thursday with a terrific 2.94 ERA, 3.13 xFIP, opponent .213 average against, and with seven K's in each of his last three games has increased his K rate to 27.4% on the season. The matchup is only average against the Giants but given the other options, Wright is easily my top pitcher on this slate. Justin Steele FD 7700 DK 7200 Opponent - PIT (José Quintana) Park - PIT FD - 28.82 DK - 15.82 Steele had to wait even longer to get his shot in the big leagues after being drafted way back in 2014. He made his debut last year and broke into the rotation down the stretch and that is where he has spent the start of 2022 posting a 4.27 ERA and 3.99 xFIP. While those numbers don't stand out, he has been better as of late allowing just four earned runs over his last three starts(19 IP). The upside isn't great(20% K rate) but the matchup is above-average as he faces a Pirates team that is bottom three against lefty pitching. At his value price, Steele is my top SP2 on DraftKings today. Catcher/First Base C.J. Cron FD 4000 DK 5000 Opponent - MIA (Braxton Garrett) Park - MIA FD - 11.56 DK - 8.69 While the Rockies' splits on the road are among the worst in the league they have scored 22 in their last four away from Coors and also get a plus matchup on Thursday. They will look to salvage a game of the series against Braxton Garrett who has struggled to a 4.65 ERA through three starts while really struggling against righties giving up a .390 wOBA and .471 SLG %. Enter Cron who is off to a career-best start hitting over .300 with 17 home runs and 52 RBI. The price is getting up there, especially on FanDuel but all things considered, Cron is my top play at first today. Willson Contreras FD 3600 DK 5000 Opponent - PIT (José Quintana) Park - PIT FD - 12.5...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Wednesday, 6/22/22

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Wednesday, 6/22/22 I don't know if I've seen a more wild day of baseball than we did on Tuesday. There were a ton of extra-inning games that kept me up all night. I'm happy to stay up and watch late-night baseball, though, because I'm a night owl already! It has me excited to keep rolling here because my Angels stack went on a nice GPP run. With that in mind, let's kick things off with the guy toeing the rubber for the Halos here! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Shohei Ohtani FD - P 10000 DK - SP 8500 Opponent - KC (Daniel Lynch) Park - LAA FD - 39.48 DK - 21.57 Shohei went nuts with the bat on Tuesday, collecting a career-high eight RBI thanks to a couple of home runs. You already know this is one of the frontrunners for MVP because his arm is just as impressive as his bat. The right-hander from Japan has a 2.60 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 10.2 K/9 rate over his last nine starts. That's pretty much the guy we've seen throughout his career, with Shohei slinging a 3.47 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. All of that makes him tough to fade against Kansas City, with the Royals ranked 26th in OPS, 27th in runs scored and 25th in wOBA. That has Ohtani entering this matchup as a -210 favorite, with KC projected for only 3.5 runs. George Kirby FD - P 8800 DK - SP 6600 Opponent - OAK (Paul Blackburn) Park - OAK FD - 35.79 DK - 19.15 What is DraftKings thinking here? Kirby should be an $8K player on both sites, and he's just $6,600 over on DK. I truly don't know why that's the case because this rookie has a 3.56 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. That looks even better when you look at his control, posting a 41:5 K/BB rate this season. That's the guy we saw in the minors, amassing a 2.34 ERA and 1.03 WHIP at that level. This is simply one of the best arms in baseball, and he could be an ace in years to come. That would make him a worthy play against anyone, but Oakland ranks bottom-three in runs scored, OBP, OPS, wOBA, and xwOBA. That's why he's a -140 favorite in a game with a 7.5-run total. Keegan Thompson (FD $6600 DK $7200) faces the Pirates, and any formidable pitcher facing Pittsburgh is in play. Catcher/First Base...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Tuesday 6/21/22 – Main Slate

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Tuesday 6/21/22 - Main Slate Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Kevin Gausman FD 10200 DK 10200 Opponent - CHW (Dylan Cease) Park - CHWFD - 38.67 DK - 20.96 Gausman is having one of the best pitching seasons in all of the majors this time around, striking out almost 10 batters per nine with a better than 7:1 K:BB ratio. His 2.83 xFIP is nearly half a run better than the 3.21 ERA as well. The White Sox rank in the bottom-third of the league in team wOBA and they strike out more than 20% of the time. The Blue Jays aren’t overwhelming road favorites here (-136) but I just think Gausman comes in as such a safe option. Nestor Cortes FD 10500 DK 10400 Opponent - TB (Undecided) Park - TBFD - 35.71 DK - 19.93 There’s no early line on this game while Tampa still decides on its starting pitching, but there’s a lot to like with Cortes regardless. He has similar peripherals to Gausman in terms of the K’s and walks, and on Tuesday gets to pitch in one of the elite pitcher’s parks. Plus, the Rays ranks 27th overall in team offense this season (4th to last for those counting) and they strikeout more than 23% of the time. The Yankees will definitely be favorites here and the only real concern for Cortes is the price. Strongly consider Sean Manaea (FD $9900 DK $9000) at home against the Diamondbacks. Catcher/First Base Ty France FD 3500 DK 4200 Opponent - OAK (James Kaprielian) Park - OAKFD - 13.83 DK - 10.55 We don’t often recommend a ton of Mariners, but Ty France is a guy we’ve been consistently on this season and it’s paid off. He has an .868 OPS with 10 home runs and he puts the ball in play around 80% of the time. France is very difficult to strike out (13%) and for his career has been as platoon neutral as it gets so we aren’t worried about righty or lefty splits. The Mariners 4.7 implied run line isn’t the highest of the day, but it’s solid and you don’t have to break the bank for France’s production. Daniel Vogelbach FD 2500 DK 2500 Opponent - CHC (Matt Swarmer) Park - CHCFD - 11.6 DK - 8.62 Our optimizer was very much on the Pirates as a stack on Monday and that paid off with the team putting up a whopping...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Monday 6/20/22

Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Gerrit Cole FD 10300 DK 10500 Opponent - TB (Shane McClanahan) Park - TB FD - 40.89 DK - 22.97 We have a pitcher's duel on Monday night between two of the top favourites for the AL Cy Young but I lean Cole for multiple reasons starting with the #1 offence in baseball to provide him run support. He hasn't even needed against the Rays who he has faced twice over the last three weeks holding them to just one earned run over 12 innings while striking out 17(37%). The other major factor here is the matchup as the Rays are much worse against righties striking out 25% of the time(4th most) in the split and 7% more than against southpaws. All things considered, Cole is our top pitcher in all formats. Noah Syndergaard FD 7800 DK 6400 Opponent - KC (Kris Bubic) Park - KC FD - 35.49 DK - 18.38 Paying up at SP2 on DraftKings might be a popular play with so many good options but I prefer the value route to jam more bats into my lineup. Syndergaard is that value arm and he checks almost every single box starting with the matchup as a big -185 favourite against the Royals and their bottom-five offence. Outside of two meltdown starts, Thor has been terrific this season holding opponents to three or few earned runs in the other eight starts and two or fewer in seven of them. Add to it, he has also reach a season-low price on DraftKings and he is easily our top PTS/$ value pitcher on this slate. Also Consider: Josh Winckowski(BOS) as another value SP2 who will get a third straight start as a big home favourite(-172) against the Tigers Catcher/First Base Luke Voit FD 3800 DK 4700 Opponent - ARI (Zach Davies) Park - ARI FD - 8.99 DK - 6.74 The first base position is one of the toughest on the slate with all the top guys in below-average to bad matchups while sitting with elite price tags. For me, at least in cash games, I will venture down into the second of pricing and target Luke Voit who has been on a heater as of late. Since the calendar turned to June, he has hit .284 but that is not the real story as he has also added six home runs, 21 RBI, and an eye-popping .399 wOBA and...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday, 6/19/22

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday, 6/19/22 I had one of my better days of the year on Saturday, and I'm ready to keep rolling here. Charlie Blackmon and Tyler O'Neill carried me to a nice cash, and some of these prices are shocking from these DFS sites. It feels like these sites have been more volatile in terms of shifting the prices because I've seen some guys jump $1,000 in a two-day span. In any case, we'll try to capitalize on some of these significant shifts, so let's get started with some pitchers! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Chris Bassitt FD 9300 DK 8900 Opponent - MIA (Sandy Alcantara) Park - MIA FD - 39.23 DK - 21.47 Bassitt has been more inconsistent than we expected, but this guy is too good to be this cheap. The right-hander has scored at least 19 DraftKings points in nine of his 13 starts, and that's really all you can hope for from a player in this price range. He also has a 1.60 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 9.9 K/9 rate in those outings, posting his duds against some of the best offenses in baseball. Miami is certainly not that, with the Marlins ranked in the bottom half of nearly every offensive category. They'd be near the bottom if they didn't drop 25 runs in a two-game span at Coors Field! Bassitt has always been a beast at home, posting a 2.19 ERA and 0.96 WHIP at home since 2020. The oddsmakers agree with our assessment, making the Mets a -140 favorite in a game with a seven-run total! Brady Singer FD 8300 DK 7800 Opponent - OAK (Jared Koenig) Park - OAK FD - 32.81 DK - 16.88 We want to use pitchers against Oakland all season. This is simply the worst offense in the sport, ranked bottom-three in runs scored, OBP, OPS, wOBA, and xwOBA. That puts any decent pitcher in play against them, and Singer has been better than that this year. In fact, Brady has a 3.62 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 8.9 K.9 rate since the opener. That even includes a seven-run dud against the Astros and that offense is obviously nowhere near Oakland. Throwing in Oakland Coliseum is a treat, too, with that spacious ballpark giving this game a 7.5-run total, with KC being a -145 favorite. A quality start and a win would make Singer one of the best plays on the board in this price range, and...
