Dallas Keuchel FD 9000 DK 11100 Opponent - SEA (Ramirez) Park - @HOUFD - 32.85 DK - 21.57 This earlier slate has been broken down pretty weird by both FanDuel and DraftKings. Instead of running an early and main slate, they have gone crazy and put together some weird slates. Anyway, Dallas Keuchel is a great one to go on the earlier slates. We touched on Zack Greinke and Carlos Carrasco in the main picks article and they remain my top 2 arms. Keuchel is my favorite of he bunch from the early games and it has a lot to do with the match-up. The Mariners obviously have some dangerous bats against lefties, but the majority of their production comes from lefties like Cano and Seager. Keuchel is lights out against them and you can count on 7 innings and 7 K. His .286 combined wOBA, 8.64 K/9 and 27% hard contact rate are all numbers that have stabilized and look amazing. He's better at home as this ballpark is pretty tough for everyone that's not a dead pull hitter. It will just come down to if one of these righties can get a hold of one or not. On the early slate, he will still be one of the top plays either way. Madison Bumgarner FD 9300 DK 11000 Opponent - ARI (Greinke) Park - @SFFD - 34.39 DK - 22.78 Like I said, Greinke and Carrasco are my 2 favorite cash game plays at pitcher. With that being said, this will be one of those rare nights where I get GPP exposure to quite a few pitchers. There are a lot of different ways this slate can go and 1 has Madison Bumgarner written all over it. Even though the Giants were out of the playoffs about 5 years ago, this is still the Bumgarner we know and love. He's willing to go to 120 pitches if he's going well and we know that's a real possibility in AT&T Park. He's held both righties and lefties to a sub .290 wOBA and strikes out close to 10...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Zack Greinke FD 9300 DK 12800 Opponent - SF (Bumgarner) Park - @SF FD - 37.61 DK - 24.68 It does feel like Greinke has flown under the radar this year, albeit a very solid statistical season. That's because he just usually doesn't make the cut in DFS. For one, he's in Chase Field half the time. Outside of that, his division is tough for pitching and it's rare to find a dominant match-up. With that being said, he's cut through the division like cheese and has held his career numbers with no problem. He's striking out 9.66 batters per 9 and walking just under 2. He's also dominated both lefties and righties, allowing a .274 combined wOBA. He now moves into AT&T Park to face off with the worst offense in baseball at home. They've sported a .293 wOBA on the season and strikeout close to 21% of the time. This is as good of a spot as ever for Greinke and he's a prominent play in all formats. His price is fair across the board.  Carlos Carrasco FD 10800 DK 13300 Opponent - KC (Hammel) Park - @CLE FD - 41.19 DK - 27.13 Well, it's over. The Royals halted the Indians insane 22 game win streak just last night. As a side note, let's stop this notion that a tie is part of a win-streak and the '35 Giants hold the longest streak ever. That team in 1935 who tied in one of their 28 games is a fraud and should not take away from a real WIN streak. Emphasis on the win part. Back to the game at hand, you have to think the Indians come back out firing. They have their ace on the mound in Carlos Carrasco and are as big as favorites as they've been all season long. Jason Hammel is a weak opponent and the win should be there. Carrasco has been a constant for these Indians and they have needed it with the injuries to the rotation. He's given up a .318 wOBA to lefties, but has shut down righties with a .276. He's striking out over 10 batters per 9 innings and faces off with a team that has struck out...

We've got you completely covered. Colorado Rockies The Rockies are at home tonight in Coors Field against a lefty. That's really all that needs to be said, but you took the time to click on this article, so I should give you something more for your time and efforts, eh? Okay, so, Colorado is hosting the Padres this weekend and tonight San Diego sends Clayton Richard to the hill. Richard's generally a ground ball pitcher, but if you can get under one then it's generally easy to put one out on him as evidenced by his 20.4% HR/FB rate. He was rocked for 10 runs in a mere 3.2 IP here at Coors on July 19th and despite a couple of shut outs thrown in here and there down the stretch, he can be easily rattled and taken full advantage of. I wont bore you with individual statistics on the Rockies bats, as Chris covered several of them in detail in the picks article, just know to build around Nolan Arenado, and get a healthy helping or DJ LeMahieu and Trevor Story, if he's available which all signs suggest he should be. Top stacking options: Nolan Arenado, DJ LeMahieu, Trevor Story, Mark Reynolds, Jonathan Lucroy New York Yankees In his picks article this morning Chris spotlighted the importance of paying close attention to who is playing for what in the waning weeks of the season. The Bronx Bombers have a cushy three game lead with the top AL Wildcard spot, but surely another division pennant would look just lovely among all the others, so don't expect the Yankees to take their foot off the pedal any time soon. Winners of seven of their last ten the Yanks host the Orioles in Yankee Stadium. New York has the highest projected run total outside of Coors Field tonight against Gabriel Ynoa. Ynoa only has four starts under his belt since making his big league debut last year with the Mets. He hasn't had much struggle with the long ball in his limited time up in the bigs, but he also hasn't had a couple...

We've got you completely covered. Luis Severino FD 10000 DK 12000 Opponent - BAL (Ynoa) Park - @NYYFD - 38.93 DK - 25.53 Chris covered Sale, Ray, and Morton in the main picks article, and no doubt Sale will be the chalk of the night with those other two making for excellent pivots. If you want to dig a little deeper then look to the Yanks' Severino. Since getting beat up on by the Red Sox just over a month ago, Severino has made a true return to form absolutely dominating in five straight starts. Through that stretch he has averaged nine strikeouts while limiting opponents to one run or less in all but one start. The FanDuel price is a season high, though the DraftKings price has dipped just ever so slightly since his last time out. Despite the Orioles holding a .323 wOBA which is just about average at this point in the season, and Severino having the strongest opening line at -220 I'm just a bit hesitant to call Severino safe in hitters heaven Yankee Stadium, against a Baltimore team leading the majors with 223 bombs this season, but he has just as much upside as anybody on the hill today. Trevor Bauer FD 8700 DK 9200 Opponent - KC (Vargas) Park - @CLEFD - 34.17 DK - 22.47 Pitching is a real bear on this slate as I don't see any arms outside of the top tier that fill me with confidence. Next up we have Trevor Bauer and the can't stop, won't stop Indians. Now winners of 22 straight games the Tribe have all but locked up the AL Central and just keep on that roll into the history books. Bauer has won five straight outings, allowing nine runs in that time dating back to an August 19th shut out of these same Royals who happen to be a bottom ten team this season with a .313 team wOBA. The upside may be hard to come by as KC only strikeout 19.4% of the time against right handed pitching, but with an opening line of -235 and a sub...

We've got you completely covered. Doug Fister FD 8100 DK 8800 Opponent - OAK (Cotton) Park - @BOSFD - 27.07 DK - 17.82 We looked at Max Scherzer and Jon Lester in the main picks article. Scherzer is still the clear cut top option in cash games and Lester remains a viable pivot. We'll now move down a little bit with Doug Fister and Jack Flaherty. Focusing on Fister, he's a bit tough to figure out. He's basically been a completely different pitcher over his last 4. He is throwing the changeup 3x more, his fastball less, and walking fewer batters. He's contained both lefties and righties, though I don't think we can accept this is just how it's going to be. He has definitely been a bit lucky recently, and we can expect some rough starts in the future. I'm just not sure the Athletics are going to do much damage. They have some bats in Khris Davis and Matt Joyce with power against righties, but the team strikes out close to 23% of the time and has held a .317 wOBA against righties. Fister is certainly a bit riskier than the more expensive options, but he'll also give you a few more expensive bats to make up the difference. I'll personally stay with Scherzer in cash games, but I do see the reasoning for going with Fister and 2 expensive offenses. Jack Flaherty FD 5900 DK 6300 Opponent - CIN (Mahle) Park - @STLFD - 30.17 DK - 19.93 If you want to get really cheap, Jack Flaherty is the only guy I have any confidence in. He may not have anywhere near the upside of ScherzerLester or even Fister, but he should go a solid 5 or 6 innings and get the win. Jack Flaherty is just another one of many effective arms the Cardinals have develeoped through the system. He has been great agaisnt both sides of the plate and there isn't much to point to in terms of struggles. He faces a Red team at home in Busch Stadium that has had a lot of trouble against righties. They...
