We've got you completely covered. Cleveland Indians The Indians get us started today coming in with the highest implied run total on the day at 5.1. They host the Tigers in Cleveland, and today the Tigers will be running Matt Boyd out to the mound. Boyd got off to a rough start this season giving up 5 runs to the White Sox before being pulled after only 2.1 innings. He was able to bounce back nicely in his second start throwing 6 shut out innings against the Twins. Today the lefty will have a challenge ahead of him with the power hitting Indians offense in Progressive Field. There should be a nice wind blowing out to right. Along with right handed hitters Edwin Encarnacion, and Brandon Guyer, Cleveland will send out switch hitters Carlos Santana, Francisco Lindor, and Jose Ramirez. Even left handed batter Michael Brantley poses a threat batting in the top of the order. I wouldn't be surprised to see Santana, Lindor and E.E. heavily owned in cash games, but any combination of 1-6 could make for a strong tournament stack as well. Fire up No Half Time for baseball season, and get a $25 bonus code when you use promo code DFSR25MLB! Kansas City Royals Our next stack is the Kansas City Royals. K.C. are hosting the Angels who will send Tyler Skaggs out to try and salvage a win after dropping the first two games of the series. Last season Skaggs sported a .323 wOBA against righties and .344 against lefties. He went 3-4 in ten starts with a 4.25 xFIP and allowed 4.17 BB/9 hasn't been any more impressive this season. Through two starts Skaggs has allowed 10 runs in 10.1 innings with 18 base runners. He'll be saddled with more than he can handle with the likes of Alex Gordon, Lorenzo Cain, Salvador Perez, Cheslor Cuthbert, and Eric Hosmer with Gordon and Cuthbert both come in at a nice bargain especially if they're batting towards the top of the order. Oakland Athletics For our last stack we head to Oakland where the Astros take on the Atheltics. You...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Gio Gonzalez FD 9300 DK Opponent - PHI (Eickhoff) Park - @WSHFD - 32.45 DK - 21.32 Gio Gonzalez is riding an impressive spring in to an impressive start to the season. The southpaw has a 1-0 record through two starts and has a 1.33 WHIP with 13 Ks and only two walks. While it's still early going, he looks to be well on the path to best his 2016 season where he went 11-11 in 32 starts, striking out nearly a batter per inning and allowing a mere 0.96 hr/9. Today he will take the hill against NL East rivals the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies are not much different from the mediocre offense Gio saw several times last year, a team with a 23.1 k% which was fourth worst in the league, and homered 161 times. The one difference would be the departure of Ryan Howard, taking 15% of those home runs with him. Look for Gio to go deep into this one, while picking up at the very least 7 K's with 10+ not being entirely out of the question. Jerad Eickhoff FD 7500 DK Opponent - WSH (Gonzalez) Park - @WSHFD - 27.69 DK - 0 On the other side of that match up we have Jerad Eickhoff. The Hoff is actually looking pretty sharp through his first two starts, though the Phillies general lack of offensive support has kept him out of the win column. He opened the season in Cincinnati suffering a loss despite allowing only 2 runs in 6.2 innings, and receeived a no decision after seven innings of one run ball against the Mets. He'll face an uphill battle trying for a win against the high powered Nationals offense with the likes of Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy. For all their power however, the Nats still struck out at a 20.2% rate last season and we're going to need for him to hone in and fan some Nat bats today since the win will be hard to come by. If you're looking for a cheap arm with definite upside potential then give...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Jeff Samardzija FD 8600 DK Opponent - COL (Senzatela) Park - @SF FD - 33.45 DK - 21.96 On FanDuel, we're looking at 11 pitchers over $8k. We have plenty of options and nobody on this slate will be too highly owned at pitcher. Jeff Samardzija and the Giants will host the Rockies for the final game of the series and try to shut the book on a successful series. Samardzija has already pitched twice this season, hitting 7 and 9 strikeouts in just 12 innings. The Rockies are easily one of the worst teams in the league on the road and all of the numbers back that up. Outside of Coors Field, whole Rockies lineup is much much weaker. "Shark" Samardzija has been better against righties with a .276 wOBA. Against lefties, he held a .331 wOBA in 2016. He supposedly worked on his change-up in the offseason and will look to improve his numbers against lefties in 2017. AT&T Park is a top 3 pitchers ballpark in baseball and Samardzija should be able to contain such a putrid lineup in such a spacious park. Samardzija is a bit too cheap and makes sense in both cash games and tournaments. Jon Lester FD 10300 DK Opponent - PIT (Taillon) Park - @CHC FD - 36.83 DK - 24.19 If you're willing to pay all the way up, Lester may be able to pay it off. Lester, like Samardzija, has already pitched twice this year. He has 14 combined strikeouts and just 2 earned runs in 11 innings. Lester was dominant against both sides of the plate in 2016. He finished with a combined .251 wOBA to go along with a 9.00 K/9 and a 27.4% hard contact rate. The Pirates are a team that is known to have some good hitters against lefties, so this won't be a cakewalk for Lester. However, he's one of the most talented pitchers in baseball and will be able to hold his own against anyone. If Lester is able to work around Marte and McCutchen, he will find some easy strikeouts in the back of the order. The Cubs should be able to get runs on Jameson Taillon and the win is pretty safe. Lester at...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Jake Arrieta FD 10600 DK Opponent - PIT (Glasnow) Park - @CHCFD - 36.73 DK - 24.08 We spotlight Chris Sale and Corey Kluber in the picks article, but we very well could have added Jake Arrieta as well, as he's an excellent cash game play and also has plenty of upside. Arrieta comes in today as the pitcher most likely to walk away with a win. He's opposed by the Pirates Tyler Glasnow who will most likely be manhandled by the Cubs offense and see an early exit, providing Arrieta with an early comfortable lead. Arrieta was sharp his last time out against the Brewers, only running in to trouble in the third when he gave up a three run shot to Ryan Braun, accounting for the only runs the Brewers would score. That shot aside he dominated allowing only three hits and 2 walks while striking out ten in 7 innnings. This was Arrietas second consecutive start, after going six shut out frames against the Cardinals to open the season. If you need some salary relief from Sale with equal safety and upside, then look to the Cubs and their right handed ace. Kenta Maeda FD 8600 DK Opponent - ARI (Corbin) Park - @LADFD - 33.81 DK - 0 Two starts in to the season and Kenta Maeda is showing no regression form last season. He's 1-0 with the loss coming in Coors where he was hurt by the long ball early on and then gave up a few more runs before being pulled after 5. The K's aren't coming quite as easily early on this season, but he's still managing to average around 1 per inning, though I expect that to improve as the season goes on. Today he's back in his home park hosting the Diamondbacks. Arizona as a team sported a 3.13 wOBA against right handed arms last season, and though they hit an impressive 130 homers against righties, the majority of those came in their very hitter friendly park, with just a little over a third of them coming on the road. The...

We've got you completely covered. Chicago Cubs Our first stack is one I alluded to during the picks write up for today, with several specific player profiles. The Cubbies are hosting the Pirates this weekend who will send Tyler Glasnow to the hill today. We don't have a large sample size of Glasnow to work with, but what we've seen tells us he is worth targeting with the world champion Cubs offense. He pitched a mere 1.2 innings against the Reds on Monday, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits. He put 9 of the 14 hitters he faced on base and only 35 of the 64 pitches he threw were strikes. The players we spotlighted in the picks were Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, and Ben Zobrist but you can look top to bottom at this offense for ways to differentiate your stack. Anthony Rizzo, Jason Heyward, and Wilson Contreras are all in consideration, regardless of their order in the lineup as I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cubs work through the order several times early on against the Pirates righty. San Francisco Giants Next up we pick on another guy named Tyler. Tyler Chatwood of the Rockies will take the mound in San Francisco against the Giants. This stack isn't as sure a shot as the Cubbies, as this game takes place in San Francisco and not at Coors Field, but the Giants are being given an implied total of 4.2 runs from Vegas and Chatwood is on a level not far from Glasnow. He's certainly off to a better 2017 campaign, at least making it through 5 innings in each of his first two starts, giving up 4 runs in each. Last season he sported a 4.37 xFIP, and was slightly worse on the road with a 4.40 xFIP. He allowed 15 Home Runs, pretty respectable for a guy that calls Coors home, but he didn't discriminate, giving up 8 to left handed batters and 7 to right handed. The long ball may not be a problem in spacious AT&T Park, but that shouldn't stop the Giants from beating up on him....
